Ian is a wonderful host his friendly chatty disposition is very welcoming. His accomodation isn't 6 star as he explains but it's far more than that . It's a walk down memory lane with all his wonderful antiques displayed. It's a share accomodation so that's not for everyone but we loved it. Ian goes over and above to accommodate your needs. We will definitely be returning . Forrest beach is a warm friendly little place well worth a look .

The accomodation was beautifully presented with lots of little welcoming touches. There was plenty of space and thoughtful additions to make our stay memorable. It was exactly what we hoped it would be and more! Highly recommend if you are looking for a relaxing getaway.

We spent 8 nights at the Beach Hut and didn't want to leave. The house was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. Brett was amazing with communication and had so many helpful tips on restaurants and must see places in the area. The views from the main bedroom and lounge room were stunning! I highly recommend a stay at The Beach Hut

Dave was a great host, kindly met us at the ferry terminal and had the place ready for us. We loved the garden. It was a great place for our young family to stay

perfect location across from the beach for those who want to get away from town, comfy beds, ideal for a small family or (as we were) a couple of singles, fantastic shower.

Beautiful apartment in a very convenient location.

Louise was a very responsive host, communication was excellent. The pod coffee machine was a fantastic touch and the bed was super comfortable. We were able to cook our own meals in the little kitchenette using the air fryer. Close to everything you need whilst on holiday. My only gripe which is not the fault of the host was the constant fire alarm testing and calls over the speaker to move cars with the first one at 6.30am, then at 7am and then testing on and off throughout the morning. Again not the fault of the host but just what comes with staying in a hotel complex.

We had a great stay at Dan and Lisa’s place. The location is very handy on the strand with restaurants and coffee shops. The bedroom has no windows and is right next to the freezers and coolers of the restaurants next door for which there was always a humming noise which took us some time to get adjusted to. Otherwise it was quite nice.

I would recommend anyone to stay at Daryl and Julie’s Airbnb! From the moment I walked in, I felt immensely relaxed and was greeted by an unbeatable view of the Strand and Magnetic Island. Everything in the apartment feels very thought out. The bed is very comfortable and I enjoyed the welcome package and high end amenities. Looking forward to staying again.

Small, neat, and beautifully located townhouse, a 2 minute walk to the beach at Alma. Comfortably accommodated family of four, including two pre-teen kids. Fully equipped kitchen and laundry out the back. Highly recommend. Susan was great to deal with.

Absolutely fantastic stay in paradise. Pool was fantastic, lots of kitchen amenities, comfortable beds and lots of space to move around. Will happily stay again next visit. Thanks again!

Beautiful little beach shack right on Saunders Beach. Nothing too fancy but a really nice quaint and comfortable place a few nights stay. Big kitchen with all utensils and basic ingredients needed for cooking, and lots of nice little touches which made the place homey.

Swim nets where all down and was very windy apart from that it was ok

Good for family, enjoyed the large space and pool.

We loved our stay at Toolakea Beach Retreat! So peaceful and restful! V iews straight out to the water, a beautiful walk along the sand, a tastefully styled little beach shack. Checking in and out was straight forward, Laine left very clear and helpful instructions. Our family of 6 was very comfortable and loved coming back to the house after days out in Townsville. Would happily come back and can highly recommend!
