We had a wonderful stay at Amie's place. The house was very clean and matched the description and pictures. They had a wonderful book of recommended places to go and we went to a few of them and were not disappointed. We really did not feel like the noise mentioned in the description was all that noticeable. It was the perfect spot for our trip to Hurricane Ridge and we would definitely consider staying again.

What an amazing place! Wonderful location and the home has everything you need. We saw Mt Baker from the deck and lots of wildlife. Very cozy and practical, perfect for our trip with the family

Amazing stay in a beautiful part of the country. We loved our time in San Juan islands, and the stay was a big part of it. Perfectly located within a very short drive of town and the sights, while away from the noise and bustle. The care that has gone into this place is apparent throughout, from the furnishings, to the amenities, the beautiful grounds, and the most gracious, welcoming hosts. We went hiking, whale watching (Maya's adventures), and kayaking (Crystal seas kayking), while enjoying great food, beer (San Juan brewery) and wine (San Juan winery). We will definitely return to San Juan and seek out Chris's place. Highly recommended.

Excellent location in the middle of Eastsound. Easy walk to restaurants, shopping, etc. Our unit had a nice water view. Saw some otters and lots of birds. Binoculars provided in unit was a welcome touch. Very cosy, clean and comfortable. Our unit was on the second floor above retail that closed at 5 so no conflict between residential and retail use. Parking is a short walk away or on street and not a problem. There is a nice unloading zone when bringing bags in. We would definitely stay here again.

This is a beautiful, tranquil location and lovely home. DM is a very attentive host, almost like a mom :) There were a lot of thoughtfully tailored touches that welcomed us and made us feel at home, including some really lovely breakfasts. It made for a very nice, cozy getaway with a lot of nice perks - massage table, firepit, and a super comfortable hot tub. if you're looking to be charmed by East Sooke, this is a fantastic place for it!

From the minute we booked our stay, Staci and Sean were quick to extend a warm welcome and inviting which was very reassuring out the gate that we had made a good choice. They answered any questions we had about the home and area, promptly and kindly as well. The home itself was absolutely adorable with much beach charm, classy details and all the comforts we needed while away from home. The view was superb, the deck was such a sweet place to unwind and cuddle and such find detail went into making each room unique and fun to explore. We had bounced around looking at other similar places in the area originally, but once we found this one, we knew it was going to be the best. And by far, was not disappointed. We will be back as often as we can. Thank you both so much for such a sweet, quiet, refreshing home away from home.

We stayed for 4 days and truly found it to be a magical experience. Few things in life match, but here they align pristinely. The photos accurately depict the experience and then some. We had an amazing time at this home and are looking forward to rebooking in the next 6 months. We traveled with our 10 month old and the home came with a pack and play which we didn’t realize until later making this home extraordinarily accommodating. It’s everything you could possibly need. We sat for hours reading, drinking coffee and enjoying the amazing view this bnb had to offer. Coupled with a bbq that they offer and a surplus of appliances we rarely ever had to leave making this an all inclusive experience. We cannot wait to come back!

Pat's place is awesome. We, a family of four - two adults and two kids (one is at teen age and another one is younger), spent a great long weekend there. Bright, cozy condo with great view from almost any window. It fits all of us, has a nice kitchen with everything you need for your stay. Heated pool with a hot tub, which we and kids enjoyed, just downstairs. The Bay is very good for paddle boarding. We did twice over our stay. If tide is low, you can reach a tiny island where you can find lots of purple and orange sea stars, crabs, and oysters. Ladysmith and Nanaimo suggest great dinner options. Nanaimo also has a nice walkable Marina merging into Maffeo Sutton park. If you like hikes, we tried Extension Ridge Trail hike near Nanaimo and can strongly recommend it to anyone. Malahat Tower is a fun place to visit, just one hour of driving from "Inn of the Sea" resort, we've been there, and were not disappointed. Will definitely stay again at Pat's place.

Lynna and Dennis’s cottage was the single best airbnb experience we’ve had. The space is beautiful and cozy, and our hosts were infinitely kind and welcoming. There is so much to do on this property—it was a true “choose your own adventure” experience. It seemed like every day we discovered a new nook or cranny that Lynna and Dennis have put there to surprise and delight guests. We kayaked, explored the tide pools, lit the wood stove when it got chilly out, and had an all around wonderful time. Their recommendations for things to try around the island were spot on. (Check out the whale watch they suggest—we had a blast, and learned a lot about the region!) There is so much more to be done and enjoyed on this property and on Orcas than we could fit into four days, and we sincerely hope we’ll have the chance to return soon!
