We had a wonderful time at this little cabin in the woods. It's on a beautiful piece of property and even though there were a few other buildings around, it felt very private. You could hear the stream in the background which was just lovely. The cabin itself was extremely clean and very welcoming. The decor was nice without being too cluttered feeling. Just the perfect amount of stuff. I don't think more than 2 people could stay here comfortably as it's basically just one big room, but for us, it was absolutely perfect! The back deck overlooked the stream and had a hot tub. We didn't use the hot tub and it was a bit loud which drowned out the sound of the stream. Teresa said that in the future, we can ask that it be turned off if we're not going to use it, so that's a great option for next time. Overall, a great place to spend a lovely, restful weekend in Elkin. We definitely plan to come back!

We had a blast staying out in the mountains. The peace and quiet was exactly what we needed. The A-frame cabin was beautiful inside and out. We could not have chosen any where better to stay for a weekend.

This cabin was a perfect weekend getaway. It was pretty private and the trails and creek were lovely. The hot tub was nice to relax in and the location of the cabin made it easy to visit some local wineries. We hope to be back soon!

We had a great stay for a family member’s birthday. William was responsive and ready to help if needed. Property is beautiful, home is well-kept with modern amenities. Hot tub was a cozy bonus! Great for relaxing quality time with loved ones.

Great stay! Rustic cabin in the woods with a beautiful view. Was familiar with the Tanglewood area already. Had a great walk around the park and enjoyed a birthday party at one of the picnic shelters. Interior clean, towels fluffy (could have used a few extra, since we stayed several days.) And, water pressure was excellent. The only negative would be WiFi. We couldn’t get it to work. So, make sure to have plenty of Data. Other than that, we give it an A+ and would definitely stay again .

Came to town for a wedding and this cabin was conveniently located and delightful. Plan ahead for a kitchen without and oven but the stay is wonderful for the area or visiting friends/family in Winston-Salem!

Beautiful cabin, nice furniture and beds, great outdoor space. Love the outdoor lighting, hammock, deck, peacefulness! It is close to the road but it is such a quiet area, that is not an issue. That was a plus for us, convenient.

The cabin was perfect for our stay in the Yadkin Valley while visiting family for Christmas! She had everything you would need and made such great use of a smaller space. She even had a Christmas tree and lights up in the cabin, which made it feel so cozy and like home!! During our stay, it was COLD outside, but the fireplace in the bedroom, and the heater in the living room did a great job of keeping the cabin warm! She even provided an extra space heater, which was nice to set up in the bathroom, so it was nice and toasty when you got of the shower! I hope to stay again!!

Elizabeth was a great host! She left the lights on when I told her we would be arriving late and she was very understanding when our dog escaped from the fenced in area by crawling under the deck. The cottage is absolutely charming with Scottish decor. She also provided a ton of little extras like tea, snacks, lotion, etc. I would definitely stay again if we're in the area!

My wife and I loved our stay at the cabin. We enjoyed watching the cattle and also saw deer in the pasture most nights. We walked to the snack bar across the road for breakfast our first morning there and highly recommend it. The cabin was close to Stone Mountain Park and Mitchell River where we fly fished and hiked. There were many of our favorite vineyards close by. We also liked how close we were to downtown Elkin. We enjoy visiting Embers Eclectic Pub when we visit this area. The cabin was beautiful both inside and out. Linens and towels were provided in ample amounts. The kitchen would allow for cooking of your own meals if you decide to not go out. The large window overlooking the pasture from the loft is beautiful to wake up to. The host communicated instructions and fun facts about the property and its history. We highly recommend staying at this cabin and will be back in the future.

Bob and Candy were awesome hosts! Quick to respond with any questions, and are very friendly. One of the best hosts we have ever encountered. The place is beautiful and recommended to other guests. They have equipped the place with anything you would need. Would definitely return. 10/10

This place is a bit of a juxtaposition because it’s a quaint, classic, cabin but in the downtown. It’s peaceful but near everything. Yes the fire dept and traffic can be a bit noisy, the stars are a spiral doozy but still a 5 star stay if you need a get away in a well decorated and arranged cabin. It’s the best of both worlds. Read the description and reviews it’s exactly as put so come prepared for the small things like the stairs. Use the noise machine at night and enjoy this 5 star cabin. Matthew did a great job. Furniture and bed are comfortable, everything was ready. Check in was easy. Awesome place!

Kay as a host was wonderful! She was very responsive, helpful, kind and attentive! She stayed in touch with us throughout our visit to tend to our needs. The property was impeccable! it was super clean and beautifully decorated. It really felt like we were coming home- so much that we didn't want to leave. The location was perfect and the ambiance on the outside was perfect. We definitely discussed making her listing a yearly trip. This was my second time staying at Jeremy and Tina’s airbnb! And again, it did not disappoint! Their home is prime example of what an airbnb should be….clean, comfortable, as described, helpful and responsive hosts, not to mention just simply gorgeous and peaceful. I cannot say enough good things. If you want a relaxing airbnb with beautiful countryside, I highly recommend Jermey and Tina’s Airbnb!

I absolutely asked it stay at the Riversong cabins! It was absolutely perfect! I couldn't ask for anything better frankly.

Sonya's place was very cozy and very nicely decorated. Sonya was very responsive and gave very detailed instructions for getting in and getting settled. It's really nice to have the patio to sit outside on a nice day. I loved the loft bedroom! The only downside was that during the day, the road outside can be a little noisy. It quiets down at night though.

Becca was an excellent host, detailed and highly responsive. The location is quiet and peaceful, a bit of an oasis in a busy city. I cannot stress enough that this is an ideal place for relaxation. There are no televisions or audio devices. This is accurately communicated in the listing but easy to miss. Eco friendly is a clear priority. The property even includes detailed notes about ways to be more efficient in using resources.
