This place is perfect for big families looking for a cozy and comfortable stay far from the buzzing city. It has hot tub and pool (perfect for summer getaway). We enjoyed our new year's eve celebration. Big spaces and clean. Basement is also spacious with a bar and games. Hosts are responsive and considerate.

Maria's house, the Ridgewood Estate is a beautiful 19th century historical home located in a picturesque area. The architecture and woodwork in this home is stunning! The large acreage is perfect for long walks and breathtaking views of the surrounding nature. There is a gorgeous pool that unfortunately we were not able to use due to the off season/cold weather. Maria was a perfect host. She was super responsive, polite and very communicative, always getting back to us in a very timely manner. If you enjoy historical homes with great architecture that is surrounded in nature, we highly recommend staying at the Ridgewood Estate!

Gorgeous old home on a beautiful property, was the perfect place and location to host our large family Thanksgiving. The house was well stocked with charming dishes and serving pieces. They left plenty of wood for the wood-stove which made the large space feel so cozy, and plenty of wood and chairs surrounding the fire pit outside. They also provided plenty of drinking water and decorated with pumpkins and mums. Bed linens and towels a fresh crisp white felt nice to curl into. If I had a choice I’d opt for some queen size beds and use of the extra bedrooms! Though realize it’s not set up for multiple families but for individuals on a retreat. It still suited us just fine and the kids loved the giant room with the bunk beds. Thank you Carolyn for another perfect weekend!

Stayed for two nights for my daughter’s auditions at SUNY Potsdam Crane School of music. It worked out for us perfectly, place was warm and cozy despite the -2 temp at night. Plenty of and the place was very clean. Stephanie is a great responsive host.

We really enjoyed our stay at Weizhong's very spacious and warm place. Located right up the hill from the Ice Palace, we were able to walk down the street so that we could enjoy the Lake, and then go a short way back to the cozy home. In the morning, we walked down to the Deli for breakfast sandwiches, then back to the home for a cozy morning inside. We definitely recommend staying at Weizhong's place and hope to stay there again.

This airbnb was very spacious and fun. We held my bachelorette weekend get away here with my bridesmaids. Helen was very responsive to our messages and made our stay a breeze. The pool is very clean and the rooms are great size. The dinning room and living room was a great set up for game night! this airbnb is about 20 minutes from awesome spots at Alexandra Bay.

We've stayed here before and will be stayinghere again. This is our favorite place to stay. Luc and his housekeeper, Bianca, are so very nice and they take care of any issues that may arise right away. The place is beautiful, interesting, historical and cozy all in one. We had an absolutely great family gathering and couldn't have chosen a better place to have it at. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home!

Every year our group of friends like to find a staycation for a few days where we can relax and enjoy our time together to get away from every day life. The pictures in Laura's ad stood out to us right away. Especially that there was a pool and hot tub, not to mention the beautiful lake view. When we got to the house it was exactly as and the description and the pictures had shown and more. We really enjoyed our stay in Laura's house. She was very quick to respond to any questions or issues which had come up. We really enjoyed the pool especially since it was heated and had spent all 4 days in it. The kitchen was fully equipped with all the pots, pans, dishes, utensil and more. We would highly recommend her house for anyone who would like a escape from reality for a couple of days. Not to mention Uber does come and there are restaurants and a walmart which is 10 minute drive in case you may need any necessities. 10 out of 10 stay!!

Absolutely gorgeous and felt right at home from the minute we stepped on the porch. Ona made us feel so welcome with thoughtful touches. Incredible place for some badly need R&R. Thank you for sharing.

My family and I had a wonderful time staying at Lynda’s cabin. The wood burning stove kept us all very warm and the proximity to great skiing is unbeatable

Tammys place is exactly as advertised. We had a great stay and will be surely coming back.

We booked this place to go skiing at whiteface with another couple and it truly was a five star place! It was a very cold weekend and the house was always warm and felt cozy (heated floors!!). Plus the hot tub was perfect after a cold day skiing. It was also only a 7min drive from the mountain. Would highly recommend to anyone! And would come again.

There were 4 couples in our group and we had plenty of room to spread out! The location was beautiful with all the snow covered trees. We did use the wood stove insert and it heats the cabin really well! We were certainly not chilled when inside; the floor heat is nice too. Enjoyed the hot tub and the ping pong and foosball in the basement. Unfortunately, the dart board was missing. We cooked dinner all 3 nights and found the kitchen was well equipped. Beds were comfy, water pressure and temp were great and the driveway was cleared from ice and snow! I definitely recommend this cabin!

Great place to visit, house is very cozy with large windows in the living room. Loved watching the snow from the couch with a cup of coffee. Great place to go with kids, large backyard is a great place to them to play. Emily responded quickly to all my questions. Thank you , hope to come back next year.

Beautiful home!! Great amenities. No television but we stayed busy with games which was fun! Hot tub was enjoyable and area was shoveled/cleared from snow when we arrived. Lots of space for a big family or for multiple families to stay comfortably, just make sure you out correct # of guests. Host I very responsive to messages and was accommodating. Will return if in area again!

Perfect location, less than 5 minutes to Whiteface and 15 to Lake Placid. The house gave the perfect mountain vibes for our two family stay. We enjoyed the hot tub and I loved the very large dual garage that made loading and unloading each day extremely easy with young kids. We'd definitely stay here again

We have been guests of Lindsay’s for 3 years. We usually stay at one of her other properties but this time there was a group of us and we stayed in the cabin. Everything was great! Location was secluded on lakefront property and there was about 6-8 “ of snow which was an added bonus. Close to everything and would highly recommend to anyone. Great time had by my entire group

Keirsa and Mark are excellent hosts - very responsive and friendly. Their place is spotless, well appointed, and cozy to hang after a long day of skiing. The location was so convenient that we were able to walk everywhere even though it was so cold.

Shauna’s home was well maintained, clean, and well stocked with the essentials. We had a large party, and everyone was able to hang out together but also find smaller spaces for quiet time. It is very close to town, while also being an easy 20 minute drive from Whiteface. We would love to stay again!

Had a great stay with family here. We attended snowmobile races and we needed parking for our 28’ trailer and we fit in the driveway with no issues. Beautiful old home that has been updated very nicely.

This was the second time we’ve stayed at this home! Four years later the house was still beautiful and exactly as shown in the pictures. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and spacious. Hopefully, we’ll get a chance to stay here again.

A lovely spot that is both conveniently located in walking distance of Lake Placid’s sights, shops and restaurants and very peaceful with fresh air and trees. Great layout with comfy beds and lots of space. We had a wonderful weekend!

What a wonderful stay we had at the farmhouse! Jodi was so helpful and easy to work with. We hope to be back for another visit!
