Unni's villa is nestled right between the beach and the backwaters. Not many places would offer such a superb setting that seems to embody the very soul of Kerala. The villa is spacious, family-friendly and as described, including the amenities. The beach is quaint, clean and very beautiful, ideal for strolls, swimming or just watching sunset. Unni is a very responsive host, always willing to help. The cook is skilled and really adept at tailoring the menu to suit the guests' requirements. Overall, a superb experience which we would love to repeat someday.

We had a lovely stay. We are so happy with the place and service. The home is beautiful and a nice haven from the city. The pool was so nice. The team there makes you feel right at home and so comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. We had everything we needed during our stay. The host also help us set up transportation to and from airport, a day tour, and gave wonderful recommendations. I would highly recommend this house and host to others.

We had a truly wonderful stay at Abraham’s charming beachside home. The property is exactly as pictured—clean, beautifully designed, and just a 10-minute joutney from the beach. What really stood out to us were the little thoughtful touches around the house, like the sensor lights at the entrance. Trust me, they’re an absolute lifesaver when you return after dark. It’s these small but mindful details that made the stay feel extra comfortable and safe he also allowed us to check in early , brownie points for that 💖 Abraham was a fantastic host—genuinely caring and incredibly prompt. He constantly checked in to make sure we were okay, which made us feel really looked after. His warmth and attention to detail truly elevated our experience. Whether you're visiting for a peaceful getaway or a romantic escape, this place is perfect. Highly recommended! 🏖️🌊⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The beach house is great if you'd like to visit the area with a dose of beach vacation. The house is just across the road from sand beaches on the Arabian Sea. The beaches are fairly clean and are lightly used during the day. We had our own private beach when we went. It's such a peaceful and romantic time to watch the waves crash from the upper porch. The house is out in a sort of rural area with nearby homes. There are not any businesses nearby that are walkable and interesting. (at least for Westerners) The house is about an hour from sites in Kochi proper. That's a $10 Uber ride which we did a lot without real issues. We liked taking the Uber to/from the Vypin-Fort Kochi Ferry and taking the ferry across. (Uber won't) The stay includes breakfast. Those are delivered warm and delicious each morning. Some of the best Keralan cooking we had. The host and staff were very responsive. We're from the US and had ate the food and drank the house's filtered water without issue.

A great host. We expected a private and calm weekend with my family and we got it. Our trip coincided with heavy rains and due to strong winds causing power shutdown for nearly 24 hrs for the entire locality. They had a battery backup which helped us for the night and for the next day they had a generator. Breakfast is complimentary and they cooked delicious South Indian breakfast with some continental options. When we asked for some extra items for breakfast, the staff even drove to a restaurant to pick what we asked for. I'll pick them up again for my next trip without hesitation. Really friendly and caring.

Cabana Beach Resort at Cherai offers a perfect blend of comfort and natural beauty. With cozy, well-maintained rooms, excellent service, and a serene beachfront location, it’s an ideal spot for relaxation and beach party. The staff were really helpful, and the views of the Arabian Sea are stunning. The pool and the cabana set the mood for the perfect sundowner. The direct access to the beach from the property was a bonus . A great choice for a beach vacation.

I stayed with family for 3 days and no hotel suite can rival this apartment, fully furnished in style and well stocked, and Swiggy delivery available at doorstep. There were many facilities which we did not get time to utilise as we were here for a wedding. We hope to visit again in future. Thanks for a memorable stay.🍺

I wish that I had an option to give 10 stars out of 5 because Woodenly Heaven was truly the best homestay that we have stayed at. The place had everything you can think of in a home. It was clean and cozy. The hosts were very warm, helpful and welcoming. Overall, our stay at Woodenly Heaven was extremely comfortable and, well, heavenly.
