The serenity of the place and the host's responsiveness made it a memorable stay. The view and the silence are tough to beat. Mr. Joseph is very friendly and responsive. We would also recommend a houseboat tour in Kadamakudy.

We had the pleasure of staying with Deepu and his family whilst on our visit to kerala. From the minute we arrived Deepu and Christine made us feel so welcome and helped us so much . "The apartment was absolutely spotless and beautifully decorated. Our host went above and beyond to make sure we felt at home. "Communication was seamless with the family . They invited us to meet friends and even go away to visit them on a trip we never would have experienced. I cannot put into words how special Deepu and Christine made our visit , Breakfast was absolutely beautiful and traditional I will certainly return. Thank you Deepu to you and your family and friends. I feel we arrived as guests but left as good friends . Highly recommend a visit to stay . A truly special experience made better by Deepu and his family whims on.

What a special and beautiful place… we were only there for 2 nights and just wished we’d been staying for longer! We were met by Mathew and his wife, who look after the property, and despite our late arrival time (after 10pm) due to our flight, they were warm and welcoming. The temperature is pretty hot at this time of year (feb) but our rooms had air conditioning and ceiling fans and felt like a cool sanctuary to retreat to. The house itself is beautiful.. traditional ornately carved dark wood features and furniture.. so elegant, clean and comfortable. Authentic Kerala style. We didn’t have time to use the pool but it looked lovely and well maintained. We were made a beautiful breakfast each morning, had a lovely chat with Mathew and his wife and given helpful local recommendations. Highly recommend staying here - if I ever come back to Kochi I will definitely be returning! Thank you.

A superb location in front of the river, a nice room, a comfortable bed, a good wifi, a kitchen with everything you need, and a very sweet host. This place is perfect..... hope to comeback soon

It is an extremely serene and calm place. It was perfect for our family getaway and apt for our occasion. 2 caretakers helped us with everything and were very responsive whenever a need arose. It was a great space.

Beautiful 1950’s villa with a team of house staff led by Mr Cherian, who took care of everything including delivering amazing food from the sister hotel Eighth Bastion. Sumptuous breakfasts were provided at the hotel, or we could make our own with the provisions supplied (even our fussy 6 year old enjoyed the cornflakes and banana cake). Had a wonderful staycation, with daily music lessons at the Kerala Kathakali centre.

Had a great stay while transiting through kochi at this bnb, the house is beautiful and has amazing vibe!! Must visit. just a little feedback since we were visiting from Canada and use airbnb.ca with no previous experience in India. One thing we noticed was direct messaging on number through host which didn’t sit well initially cz that’s private info, and when we asked for troubleshooting some issue during the stay it was great that the host came right away but didn’t leave once issue was fixed, felt weird being in the space with someone around. I think it was not malicious intent but just something to improve on privacy!

Jacob's inn was a great place to unwind with my friends. I loved how peaceful and tranquil the environment was but at the same time being at the heart of the city. Anisha was a professional host who responded to all my queries immediately and consistently checked to ensure that we were comfortable. The rooms were very spacious, bright and clean and the kitchen was well stocked. Location is ideal and well connected. I would highly recommend this property and would love to revisit. Kühlschrank + Wasserspender die Klimaanlage darf natürlich auch nicht fehlen und funktioniert natürlich auch Der Hausherr hat uns in allen Anliegen sehr geholfen und wir hat auch einige Intressante Gespräche zusammen ✨️😅😉 Sehr zu empfehlen 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Booked this stay for a short break, and it was the perfect choice! The calm, green surroundings made for a relaxing getaway. We planned my husband's birthday here, and host Neil was incredibly supportive, suggesting cakes and a garden setup. Though he wasn’t available that day, he ensured everything went smoothly through his parents, who did a fantastic job with the decorations—big thanks to them! The accommodation was cozy, clean, and well-maintained, giving a homely feel. Spacious room, comfortable bedding, and all essential amenities were provided. The outdoor seating and lush greenery added to the charm. The well-equipped kitchen made meal prep easy. Neil also shared great nearby attractions and food options. Overall, a lovely stay! Highly recommended for anyone seeking a peaceful retreat in Kerala. We’ll definitely be back!

Colbridge and his family give incredible value for money, particularly in their efforts to provide anything and everything the customer wants or needs. They are full of helpful information and go our of their way to provide any little special requests the guests might have. Their home is spotlessly clean and we can highly recommend the delicious breakfast served each day by the lovely Shalini, his charming wife, as well as the extra services of cleaning and laundry provided by their housekeeper, Shelby. We could not have been happier nor felt luckier. Highly recommended.
