While visiting our daughter and grand-children in Fort St. Jean we had a lovely stay at this one- story chalet- like, rustic but elegant and thoughtfully outfitted bungalow in Charley Lake BC. Super comfortable beds, charming great room and kitchen/dining area, all furnished to utmost comfort. Lovely views over a wrap-around deck which looked over a snow-covered lawn with picturesque stable-like structure (we were there in mid-March so still snowy). Hosts were always responsive, friendly, and helpful. many thoughtful touches such as entry way boot racks and coat hooks, luxury bath products in showers, Keurig for coffee, etc. We highly recommend.

Mesfit was an excellent host. I had an emergency and he was very helpful and supportive. He was easy to communicate with and responded quickly. He was flexible with my plans and accommodating where possible. These qualities I’m grateful for and value in an excellent host.

Great place, simple and budget friendly

The Woodland House was a great place to stay. We travelled to Fort St. John to visit family and to take in some of the local tourist attractions, from the moment we entered, we loved it. It comes with all the amenities and then some! The central location in Fort St. John made it easy to get to anything in town and reached within minutes, so easy and stress-free. It was such a great place to relax and just enjoy our time together. We had the perfect combination of privacy and space. Our hosts, Virginia and Steven went above and beyond to make our stay so much more memorable! We highly recommend a stay at The Woodland House, we guarantee you will not be disappointed.
