The view was incredible. We especially enjoyed making s’mores at the fire pit overlooking the river. The home was roomy and clean, with character and cute quirky details. The kayak and the fishing poles were also a very nice detail. I would definitely recommend this home and it has plenty of room for a large group or family.

Haiyun was a wonderful Host! I am very grateful for her hospitality and willingness to show me around the area.

The little treehouse in Fairhaven is a perfect spot for a family visit. Close to the beach and easy to find. Very near the Harrington Harbour Yacht Club and other sporting amenities. Very affordable too. The kitchen was well equipped. The very large family room gave our family plenty of room to spread out. Terrific family break.

This home is lovely, spacious and cozy. 3 nicely appointed full bathrooms and bedrooms. The beds are like sleeping in a cloud! Sunrise in the mornings over the water very beautiful with a hot cup of tea or coffee. Hope to visit here in the summer. This home has a nice yard and plenty of outdoor seating and a nice firepit, and then theres a private pier too for water fun. Clean, comfortable home and I highly recommend. There's a cool local grocery store too and a few cool restaurants around pasadena etc. We had crab legs from Arundel seafood and they were good. Mikes crabhouse isnt too far away. Thanks to John, my sis in law and I had a great few days here.

Very beautiful quiet place, looked just as good as pictures. Only had to stay 1 day but it was perfect for two friends and I. Everything was clean and very neat. Would definitely stay again if in the area!

My wife, 4 year old son and I enjoyed a week at John’s beautiful home on the Patuxent River. The house and property were perfect and the views were amazing every day. The house had everything we needed and we felt right at home. He was very responsive and helpful when we had questions. We look forward to staying here again in the summer!

We had an amazing stay at this charming farmhouse w our young kids and elderly parents! The property was perfect for a relaxing getaway that we all needed. The chickens were a delight, and collecting fresh eggs was a unique experience. I cant tell you how much my kids love it. The pond added a serene touch, and the outdoor movie setup was a fantastic way to end our days. The host Hannah were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. She is so pleasant to work with and very responsive. She sent us the local recommended restaurant list and we love them all. We did a day trip to Washington DC easily from this location. Highly recommend this place for a peaceful retreat! Such an amazing airbnb stay and we will come back.

This place was a great stay for me and my family over Christmas break. It exceeded my expectations and then some. Jody was super helpful and responsive. The view is even better than in the pictures. Amazing sunrise to be viewed in the morning on the lake. The bedrooms are spacious although we spent most of our time in the main family room, patio and backyard. Well stocked, clean, full kitchen. Functioning hot tub. Can't wait to come back in the summer.

Wonderful

Stayed here during our bike ride on the C&O trail. It was about 1 mile off of the trail, and very easy to find. It was exactly what we needed. Multiple showers, two bedrooms, and laundry-everyone in our group was able to get refreshed for another day on the trail! There weren’t restaurants in the area, but plenty of options on DoorDash. Our beds were extremely comfortable. This was our best stay on the trail for sure!

This was my fourth stay with Theo and every time, it seems like he includes something to make the stay more enjoyable. Very responsive to any questions or issues that arise. Always flexible! I love it there and it is definitely my home away from home! I look forward to my next stay!

I enjoyed my stay and was surprised when John on his own sent me a list of things to do and restaurants around the area. He was very helpful to make sure I had all I needed in the house. The place was clean and well maintained. No complaints, definitely recommend if you want to be near DC but not stay in the DC area to rest.

La anfitriona es muy amable y atenta. Tuve varias dudas sobre el lugar y el hospedaje, y respondió a todas ellas. Hubo un pequeño inconveniente para poder acceder al departamento y al wifi a la llegada, debido a que no tenía un número de EEUU la comunicación fue compleja en ese momento, pero se superó de manera óptima y rápida. Por otro lado, al no ser de la zona, no tenía noción de que espacios como la piscina no están disponibles en estas fechas, me habría gustado eso se indicara en el anuncio. Pero, en general, la estadía fue agradable, cómoda y me sentí respaldada por la anfitriona en mi primera visita a la ciudad.
