This was our second time experiencing this beautiful place. We returned back because of how much fun and intimate our experience was. I definitely will be returning back.

Devon was an amazing and responsive host! They were very flexible with our last minute changes and made us feel at home. I came with friends to get away for a weekend over spring break and it was a perfect stay after hiking the redwoods all day!

We loved our stay at the cottage! It was the perfect size and very cozy. The property is a work of art with such a peaceful vibe. Soaking in the hot tub was a highlight of our trip ✨

We had a blast. Super peaceful & fun. It wasn’t difficult to get into bath spaces. The room was smaller than I imagined from the pictures but it was still roomy enough for two people. Would definitely go again.

Everything was perfect! The house and the view were even more gorgeous in person. The house had absolutely everything our family needed (and more!) for our stay. The neighborhood and town were adorable and the short walk to the beach was a huge plus for us. We truly could not have asked for more and were discussing making a yearly trip after just 1 night! Would absolutely recommend this beautiful home!

We had a wonderful stay at Nancy's! The location was great for our daily hiking and adventuring through the redwoods. We loved relaxing in the hot tub after. There are plenty of snacks, tea and coffee and the kitchen is well stocked for all cooking needs. There's also a very friendly and cuddly neighborhood cat (shout-out to Rufus!) and even fruit trees on the property, the apples are delicious. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again when back in the area.

Peggy was very thoughtful and accommodating. We booked her place a few minutes before we arrived and she’d popped in there to turn the heat on for us. Easy walk to Main St. Main bed was very comfortable, Sofabed was ok. Breakfast snacks and water was a nice touch, thanks Peggy!

This is located in a quaint small town called Trinidad. Close to Redwood National and State Parks. It's also close to the Trinidad State Beach where we did a hike on the Trinidad Head with great ocean views. The kitchen was well stocked with all kinds of condiments and a variety of coffee to choose from. Overall a great experience and we enjoyed the stay very much. Would recommend it to anyone visiting Redwood National and State Parks and the Eureka area.

Comfortable and quiet, easy parking in the driveway, well-equipped kitchen with all the utensils, appliances and cookware you'd ever need, great shower and plenty of hot water, nice cafe 1/4 mile away, cozy and warm for a rainy spring trip to Humboldt. Note: dunno your mattress preferences but this one is very soft, no blackout curtains in bedroom so bring an eyemask.

Enjoyed ourselves and felt right at home. We would stay here again if we are in the area.

We had a brief stay while passing through the Redwoods parks. The cottage is cute and comfortable, and had everything we needed. We’d love to come back another time to spend more time exploring the grounds.

This is a little oasis of art, nature, beauty, and good vibes. We stayed in the cottage over Thanksgiving weekend and couldn't have made a better decision! The place was cosy, we played chess in the library cottage, we wandered the grounds to check out art/games, we had great convos with Rich & Joey, and there's lots to do in the greater area (hikes, restaurants, coast, redwoods, etc). Loved our stay - highly recommend! 😊

I really enjoyed my time at this space! It was a wonderful place to retreat to while attending a workshop at Del Arte. I did not have a car and it was easy to walk to anywhere in Blue Lake like the river, brewery, laundromat to name a few. When we unexpectedly lost power and water Lisa was quick to supply me with water and lighting instruments. She was attentive to my needs before I the even set foot in the apartment. I loved having access to a private deck where I could enjoy the outside. I will definitely book here again when I return to Blue Lake.

A great getaway in Blue Lake. Close to the casino, if that is your thing, or quick hop on the highway to the coastal beaches and outdoor adventure. Inside there is plenty of space to spread out and a great yard. We had dogs, so the place worked out great with the extra space and outdoor area. Love that view from the dining room of the rolling forest hills - can't beat it!

The properties were exactly as described: lovely redwood forest with a trail just yards from the front door, downtown Arcata and Cal Poly Humboldt no more than 5 minutes away by car, and the occasional deer walking past your window. Any of the Fickle Hill properties are an ideal place to stay to experience what Humboldt county has to offer.

Felt right at home, very clean, and my boyfriend and I enjoyed our stay. If you wanna go on a walk or a hike you’d have to drive to it. Not very walkable since there’s a rode outside the house but the redwoods and the beautiful greenery is all you need. We were so happy with the home. Cooking was my favorite, the kitchen is stocked with everything you need. Lastly, we saw a deer! It was awesome! We come from LA so this isn’t something we see everyday. It was like a fairytale!! The tiny home is so worth the stay!!

Pristine contemporary house that was exactly as listed. Laila was communicative and responsive. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend to others!☺️

We'd been eager to check out Ferndale for some time and I feel like we really hit the getaway jackpot w/the discovery of Caroline + Stuart's Airbnb. I kid you not I got misty-eyed walking through the house when we arrived because it was so breathtakingly perfect + beautiful, and spoke to my Victorian-loving spirit. It was a true "pinch-me, is this really ours for 3 nights?" moment and I haven't had that feeling checking in to a place in quite some time. We're a fam of 4 and the main cottage was beyond enough space for us. The kids loved the piano, the chess/checker table, the record player, the creek, badminton on the grass and the proximity to a sweet playground (with deer!), while mom and dad loved all of that plus the front dining table, the tea and coffee bar, the high ceilings, + all historical details throughout the house. The kitchen even boasts a sign from "The Majestic" (one of many films set in Ferndale)! This place is oozing w/love +charm + we can't wait to go back!

This is my second time coming here and once again it was exactly what I needed for a short weekend stay. I definitely recommend and would be happy to come back again!

Erica was very communicative and easy to check in! Her place is very quiet and the surrounding scenery is beautiful.

Mark's guest suite is lovely, secluded and spacious. It a perfect spot for my daughter and I to stay while visiting Cal Poly Humboldt. GPS failed me a time or two, but Mark was thoughtful enough to provide explicit instructions for how to find his house. I hope to stay here again when I'm in the area.

This is a great little place in a good spot, right next to wildberries. Clean room, too. Romi was very understanding when I messed up on the reservation and had to adjust, too.
