The house was very spacious for our family of 6. We loved the location, view, and short drive to everything we wanted to do.

We loved this beautifully designed and decorated timber-frame barn in hilly, Illinois farm country! Jilly and KenBob are warm hosts who welcomed us with convivial conversation and our pup with a canine chorus.

The cottage is located on a beautiful property, wooded, with an inviting set of garden plots and farm fields. The owner is extremely kind and gracious. Added bonuses were the chickens roaming about and the small goat herd adjoining. The cottage itself is warm, inviting, impeccably maintained, and private. You can tell immediately the care these people put into their guests' experiences. My son and I went for a beautiful hike 5 minutes away, in Badfish Creek Wildlife area. Cannot think of a better experience or a more perfect place to let go and take in peace, rural beauty and restorative tranquility.

I can't say enough about how much I loved this place. It was so beautiful, tranquil, and cozy. I don't think I've ever been in a home that was more in harmony with itself or its surroundings. I also don't think I've ever been in an Airbnb that was so thoroughly and thoughtfully stocked--everything from s'mores supplies to beach chairs to popcorn, you name it. Tryon Farm is really fun and calming to walk, too--I felt very safe being there solo--and just twelve minutes from the beach. What a gem--I'll definitely be back!

Absolutely perfect. I grew up on a farm in Morrisonville, IL. Our home burnt down when I was 13. My dad relocated. I’ve missed our family farm for the past 25 years. Liz and Tony’s place is even more magical than the farm I grew up on. If you like peace and quiet in a beautiful country setting, you will not be disappointed. They were incredibly kind and caring during our stay. I really didn’t have any issues with the water pressure. It took no longer than a minute for it to reach full pressure after starting the shower. This is normal for older country homes. I will be back as soon as I can be. Thank you so much!

Dan and Kellie were great hosts. Quick to communicate and we’re happy to show us around the farm. The house was great, fit our group of five comfortably. The hot tub was a perk and the fire pit was cozy. We walked around the trails a few days on their property and took a trip to see the near by waterfall. Highly recommend!

Cute and cozy farmhouse, well-equipped, and a perfect way to relax for a weekend. We enjoyed going for walks in the local state parks, winter activities at Tyrol Basin,and exploring Mt Horeb. Would definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful weekend. We hosted our son and new daughter-in-law’s rehearsal dinner at the barn Friday night. It was the perfect setting. The bride and her bridesmaids stayed Friday night and got ready for the wedding at the barn. They all had the best time! Your place is absolutely beautiful! Everyone loved it!!

Everything was wonderful! The home was clean and had everything needed for a stay away from home. It was very peaceful to be out in the country with the beautiful surroundings and was nice to see the animals wandering around. Would love to stay again when in the area! Thank you!

Great stay at the Keller farm during a winter escape. Hot tub and infrared sauna were great amenities that make it feel like a spa escape. Very clean living spaces all throughout the house. Would happily book again! :)

I had a great stay! The place was squeaky clean, bright, good temperature, and the candles smelled amazing. the animals were an added bonus! ellie is the sweetest and the cats made an appearance on my front porch on my last day. the goats are also incredibly cute. there are a ton of amenities - wonderful shampoo/conditioner, backup toothbrushes, toothpaste, floss, medicine, and first aid at your disposal! the sunset was mesmerizing and, as someone who lives in the city, the stars were to die for. i didn’t ever want to leave that bed, it was incredibly comfy! they even had a sound machine and ear plugs if you wanted it. Cid, the groundskeeper, is absolutely wonderful and we had some great chats! i highly recommend this place if you want a slice of serenity. i will say the road is hard to see and i did blow past it at first, but other than that it was a 5 star stay! definitely coming back!!!!!

We had the most incredible time, genuinely felt like home away from home. Enjoyed a weekend of peace and quiet with the most amazing views. I’m already looking forward to coming back again.

The schoolhouse was an awesome dog friendly location with everything you could need. There were so many extras and Betty was always quick and responsive to any questions. We would highly recommend.

This home is absolutely beautiful! There were 16 of us that stayed here and we all fit comfortably. Everything was super clean upon arrival. Ana was very clear with her instructions and was responsive to messages before and during our stay. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway with a large group!

This little cottage has become an annual tradition for my husband, pup, and I. It’s a peaceful little setting tucked away from a larger city. The thought and care that the hosts put into the amenities is evident. I highly recommend this little cottage for anyone looking to get away into the woods while also having all the conveniences of a city nearby. I had a family situation come up that required me to make changes to the reservation with short notice this year and the hosts were very flexible and easy to work with. We look forward to staying again in the future!

This is an amazing home, beautiful locale, and great accommodation. We returned for a second time to celebrate a significant milestone. Couldn’t have picked a better place. Patti and Elizabeth took great care of us and made us feel so special. Can’t wait to come back!

We stayed at Rainbows End during a cross-country move with our dogs, and couldn’t have possibly had a better experience or a nicer time! This is one of the rare Airbnbs around today that truly feels like a home — and in this case, it’s a work of art too. The surroundings are so beautiful, while the decorations are amazing and tell a story. Dennis was beyond accommodating to our dogs and to us, and I hope that we can come back in the future and spend more time here!

This house is absolutely beautiful and perfect for a family. It's literally equipped with everything you need. I had a problem with the Keurig, notified the host & she was super responsive. She came right over to take a look at it & when she couldn't fix it she took it & returned with another one. She set the new one up & everything worked perfectly. She recommended Wild Fun Zone & my kids had a blast there. Will definitely consider booking again when busing Wisconsin Dells. Thank you

Wonderful holiday experience at the farm! We had kids, aged 18 months to seven years old, and they were thoroughly entertained. Loved the generous access to the farm, all the animals & kittens. The house is very spacious and beautiful with an awesome fireplace. Would definitely recommend TerraVista as a great family stay!

This place is a peaceful quiet haven. Beautiful inside and out. The host was extremely responsive to my every question. The breakfast he left was a wonderful surprise!! We hated that we only had one evening. Hopefully we will return sometime and spend more time.
