This place is wonderful! The minute we walked in the door we felt right at home. We stayed during February and took advantage of the snowy conditions in the area. After playing outdoors, we were able to come "home" and get warm and cozy. Joanne has done a beautiful job decorating. It has everything you need for cooking if you prefer that to eating out. It's also close to all the fun activities. We loved it and are hoping to stay again this summer.

This home gave us (6 adults) a magical week. Got some good work outs on the hills as part of the charm. Attractions and restaurants were easy to get to. Every direction was a nice walk past interesting houses. Our week had every type of winter and the house was a perfect rest area. Host John made it easy and simple to check in and out!

Joe’s Cabin was a perfect space for our family! Long driveway was perfect for sledding with our 3 year old, we felt like we were in the middle of nowhere yet so close to the main street in lake placid. Skiing was great and not a far drive from whiteface either. Amazing views out of the living room windows of the mountains in the distance. Snowed every day we were there and there was a snowplow that always made his way down the road and driveway. Joe was a great host and very accommodating. Loved being able to bring our dog with us as well!

Brian’s home was even better than the photos. A big and lovely screened-in porch; a well-appointed kitchen; a luxuriously large living room and dining area. Brian is a responsive host- he answers questions very quickly. A perfect spot for a family gathering.

We really enjoyed our stay. Great location allowing us to be within walking distance of town, but far enough away for privacy and quiet. The house itself is perfect for entertaining and socializing, but also allows for people to spread out and have their own space. Having access to the garage is a huge perk for keeping ski/outdoor gear out of the way.

Michael’s place was perfect for our group of 8. The common space was comfortable and well-furnished. The cold temps did not allow us to enjoy the porch but in the warm weather it must be sublime! We made full use of the well-appointed kitchen. The little butler’s pantry was a great place to store non-perishable items so the kitchen counters remained clear. Each room had either an en suite bathroom or one right next door. Everyone loved the water pressure. We felt like we were away from it all but very accessible to town. Everyone in our group enjoyed their stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Cynthia's place! It was very clean, felt cozy and welcoming, and had all we needed. It was exactly as described and the pictures were accurate. Cynthia made it an easy and carefree experience. I would definitely recommend Cynthia's place to family and friends.

We enjoyed our stay! Perfect ski in ski out location on Titus mountain. FYI, There are 4 private bedrooms plus two more Murphy beds in basement. It’s hard to tell from the description. It was perfect for two families!

We had a snowmobile trip planned, but we encountered some problems, and that didn't work out. We ended up booking Anna and JP's house at the last minute. We had a wonderful time. The house was lovely, with beautiful views and a quiet environment. The hot tub was a hit with the teenagers, it is clean and well maintained. We would like to come back during the summer. We had a wonderful stay. We’re a group of 4 mostly retired couples. Linda’s place was perfect for our needs. We used 4 bedrooms each with its own bathroom, comfortable communal space, a dining room that accommodated all of us, and a great kitchen with lots of counter space, utensils, serving dishes, etc. The main bedroom upstairs also had an adjoining suite perfect for families with young children. Linda’s instructions were clear and she was very responsive to all messages. Linda had towels for the hot tub which we loved using after a day of outdoor activity. We highly recommend Linda’s place and look forward to returning next year.

Kent’s home was beautiful and clean. A short walk into lake placid and had plenty of space for my friends and family. Kent was a very communicative and friendly host!

Absolutely beautiful home!!! Anything and everything we needed for our stay was available. Hosts were amazing. Provided all necessary instructions in advance and during the stay. Provided local recommendations and activities. We felt at home! It was so peaceful and relaxing and exactly what we wanted!! Truly out of a Hallmark movie. Beyond happy we found this home for our family escape! Short trip to whiteface was definitely a bonus! Hope to go back again in the future.
