Enjoyable stay in Downderry, arrived late however Rebecca and James confirmed this was no problem beforehand and simple check in on arrival. Great views to wake up to in the mornings. Spent a lot of time in Looe which is only a few minutes drive away however enjoyed a great evening meal at the Inn on the shore which is less than a 5 minute walk away, with great views. Would be happy to stay again

Simply breathtaking. This cottage on a UNESCO World Heritage site in Charlestown is a 5 star home away from home. Waking up to the sounds of the harbour, the once in a lifetime views and to have all the facilities of this outstanding cottage just there for you to relax in made our stay so memorable. The sunrise over the Gribben and walks to Porthpean and other beaches were superb. Having a pint at the pub and strolling home around the harbour was great. Seeing the stars overhead in these dark skies took us away from the day to day routine and brought us refreshment and rejuvenation. Immaculately presented and with an en-suite walk in shower room as well as a family bathroom alongside Wi-Fi that works for hybrid workers, we would recommend this cottage any day of the week.

Very cosy and central accommodation. Very well equipped with everything one needs for a comfortable stay. Only slight downside was ease of parking. We hope to return sometime.

A lovely clean and spacious place that felt like home away from home in a beautiful, quiet location with some great sea views. We enjoyed waking up to and watching the sun rise over the bay. We really enjoyed our stay here. A short distance away from Charlestown which had some great spots to eat out, also close to the must see Eden Project all while being close enough to get to some other beautiful parts of Cornwall fairly easily. We definitely would return and explore some more of what Cornwall has to offer.

Stunning property in beautiful surroundings. Everything about this property was immaculately presented with plenty of luxurious touches - a roll top bath in the bedroom overlooking the sea and fabulous hidden away hot tub to name a couple. As well as the fabulous sea views there are lots of lovely cafes and restaurants within easy waking distance. We look forward to a return visit soon.

Wow, wow…wow! What an absolutely stunning place. It was so lovely that I felt emotional leaving on the last day and the heron that I’ve read so much about, visited on the morning we were set to leave. The property is exquisite, the surroundings serene and situated on the doorstep of quaint and picturesque villages, accessible by foot. Charlotte was a superb host and beyond helpful when there was an issue with the tv. I would not hesitate to come again!

Thank you Guy for having us stay in your lovely home. It was definitely a home from home experience with every need and requirement met. Although the weather wasn’t very kind to us during our stay, we managed to find lots to do from your guide books, which were a godsend. I must also mention what a lovely surprise it was to find the Cornish welcome hamper when we arrived, much appreciated. It’s also great the attention you have given to dogs that stay at your home. Our two dogs loved the secure garden enclosure and we could relax knowing that they were safe outside. The stair gates keeping the dogs downstairs are a great idea too. Thank you for a lovely stay. A beautiful, well stocked cabin with fab views. we had a lovely long weekend watching the storms over the sea. highly recommended. Thank you Freya

Another great stay at David’s place. You cannot beat the central location & the cottage has all you need for a fab stay. Excellent communication as always from David.
