My friends and I spent 3 nights here and enjoyed our time very much. Close to Duluth and in a nice, quiet neighborhood. Only downside for me was the beds. I personally didn't find them comfortable at all and didn't sleep well as a result. They felt thin and the beds wobbled and squeaked at every slight shift. That said, the rest of the people in my party didn't think the beds were anything to complain about 🤷‍♀️ so might be personal preference!

We really enjoyed our stay at Valerie's cabins. We loved the location, which is close to Sax Zim Bog and the Wilbert Cafe. The main cabin and additional cabin were perfect for our group of three birders. The kitchen was big with lots of amenities and the heat worked great. We are all from Florida and were warm and toasty, even with temps below zero. The wood stove was a nice touch and added ambience. I would highly recommend this place and hope to stay here again on my next visit.

It's a beautiful location and the views are amazing. The space is lovely, clean and incredibly well-appointed. There is everything you need. The hosts communicate very well, without ever being intrusive. Even if all you need is a few days away in the middle of winter, like I did? I highly recommend it.

The house was beautiful and spacious for 4 adults, 1 teenager and 3 kids 10 and under. There was plenty to do for all the ages. The trails around the property were great and clear even with major snow drifts and wind covering footprints. There were sleds and snowshoes and a great sledding hill. The seating in the common areas was nice for a group and the fireplace was a nice feature we all enjoyed. The kitchen had everything needed, which was great! Brandon was a friendly and helpful host.

Our time with Fay and Jon was just what we needed. My wife and I needed a place to get away and unwind and this was perfect. They were available host but we didn't need them for anything. We communicated back and forth when we arrived and once our twice during our stay. Everything was where it was supposed to be and worked as it should. The sauna was a wonderful way to wind down our days and the bed was firm but very comfortable. We wouldn't hesitate a bit to stay here again in the future.

The Twin Port Resort was the perfect spot to spend our weekend away. The home was clean and had plenty of room for our crew of friends. The sauna was very enjoyable! Would definitely recommend Al’s home to others.

We had a wonderful stay at The Hideaway! We drove up from Mississippi for a white Christmas and spent most of our time ice skating on the lake, reading, and playing board games. The cabin was cozy and had everything we needed for a relaxing family vacation: books, games, puzzles, the lake, even extra dog bags for clean up. My oldest went ice fishing a few times. As an amateur baker, I loved that the kitchen had things like bread pans, a pastry blender, a dough scraper, etc. It made the Christmas and New Year’s baking of delicious breads and desserts much easier. Highly recommend and considering another stay this summer!

The house was easy to find, and was really nice. The space was great, well decorated, and was clean. The host communicated well, and helped with recommendations for our stay. We will definitely consider staying here again.
