My husband and I and our two big dogs stayed at Rani's place for a month while house-shopping. We both work remote, and it was the perfect temporary home for all of us: it's an extremely quiet, bucolic area that's a quick drive into town and grocery stores, the kitchen was well-stocked with all the equipment we needed to cook meals, the wifi was very fast (great for multiple zoom calls at once), and the apartment felt spacious and bright. Rani also went out of her way to make us comfortable: she left fresh flowers and a welcome gift for us, lent us her dog toys and some moving equipment, let me use large amounts of her herbs from her garden for cooking, was always friendly and responded rapidly when we had questions, offered to bring down a second office chair, and made us feel immediately at home. I highly recommend Rani's either for a quick trip to Frederick or if you need a temporary home and want to be much more comfortable than in a hotel (especially if you have dogs).

What a perfect location for a quiet personal retreat! Being able to walk in the woods by the creek right on the property was amazing. There was even a hammock a ways down the path in the middle of the trees! Heavenly.

Wonderfully relaxing and private location! Excellent communication and ensured we felt safe while traveling. We loved the welcome fruits and breakfast goodies. Fantastic coffee selection and lovely fresh flowers in the room. Local wine gift was a hit!

Gerry’s place is just what I needed to disconnect. Close to some good hiking and outdoor activities. The place itself has everything you need for a short peaceful stay. Gerry himself was very welcoming and hospitable. I loved this place. I will definitely favorite to go back sometime.

It was a very comfortable place to come back to after our daughters graduation photo shoot in DC. My wife woke up 3 times thinking she was in her own bed lol. Our daughter wanted to take your recliner home with us lol. Great communication from start to finish, and the Blueberry Muffins were excellent! Thanks for the great experience!

Jarrett was a GREAT host. He was available 24/7 to answer any questions. He even checked in to make sure everything to my liking. The place was exactly what I needed for my weekend getaway. I would definitely stay here again and I recommend others staying here as well.

We were completely stressed out from an interstate move. We had already spent some time in another situation which was not good. We found Carolyn and this house and moved there as soon as we could. This place is beautiful inside and out! Our pets were also very comfortable there. Carolyn is wonderful and personable. Very respectful of our privacy but easily accessible for questions or concerns. Having this as our home base made all the stress we were going through so much easier to handle. We would highly recommend this wonderful location.

Amazing little place - so peaceful - bed was comfy and kitchen was well stocked with what I needed for simple meals. Beautiful backyard with covered porch was perfect to watch a thunderstorm that rolled in. Ask about fresh eggs - they were such a treat! Would absolutely stay again! Hard to leave - great hosts!

I had a amazing stay at this Airbnb. The host was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make my visit special. Upon arrival, I was greeted with freshly baked cookies and a bottle of wine. The space was spotless and extremely comfortable, with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The location was also perfect, with plenty of activities and attractions nearby to explore. I highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking for a welcoming, clean, and cozy place to stay. I’ll definitely be returning on my next visit to the area!

Honestly, this was exactly what my wife and I needed. A nice quiet getaway without the kids. Everything was amazing and our host went above and beyond. He even was kind enough to bring us breakfast when I commented how amazing his breakfast smelled through the wall. Unfortunately didn’t make it out to one of Anwar’s two restaurants as we hoped. Highly recommend!

This Airbnb was very welcoming and had beautiful surroundings. My dog loved running around! Everything was super clean and they had binders full of activities and recommendations for things to do in the area. I would stay here again 😊
