The house and location are exactly what you’d expect based on the photos. The house was clean, spacious and very open. The surroundings were quiet with beautiful views. Will definitely book again in the future!

Exactly as described. This home is beautifully furnished and clean, I thought I was in a model home. Bedrooms are large each with a king size bed and very comfortable. The master en-suite bathroom is amazing. We spent the weekend with friends celebrating a birthday. I wouldn’t say it’s walkable to Main St but the drive took minutes and wasn’t an inconvenience at all. I wouldn’t absolutely stay again. Felt at home.

The place was decorated really cute. Everything was neat and clean. We had plenty of space and the neighborhood was quiet and really close to Main Street. The backyard area was perfect to relax. We truly enjoyed our time there.

A great stay overall. Our crew was a family with adult children, and this was a perfect space for that. We greatly enjoyed the hot tub and multiple decks were nice (they could use refinishing though). Great views of the hill country and good proximity to town. Even with steep hills, the neighborhood was nice for walking. The rooms and space were as described. Overall clean but we did have an issue with some bedsheets. However, the response was immediate, apologetic, and was resolved. We used the grill while we were there and it worked just fine. One thing to note is the sound of the floors. If you're in one of the downstairs rooms and there is activity in the kitchen and living room above, you will hear it. Not much can be done about that, just a note for light sleepers. Should I be in the Canyon Lake area with a group, I would stay again.

We would definitely recommend Michael’s house at Canyon Lake! The house was very clean and well kept. We also really appreciated the restaurant recommendations he left. The game room was a huge hit for us, as well as the hot tub. The deer in the backyard were amazing to see, too. The location was perfect for our family to see San Antonio, Austin, and Enchanted Rock. Thank you for being such a great host, Michael!

I have zero complaints. This trip was with girl friends, but I can’t wait and am looking forward to coming back to Morgan’s house again with my husband and daughters.

We had an awesome few days in Melinda's place. Beautiful view, incredible sunset. Kids enjoy the lake to fish and do water activities, while we watched them from the Jacuzzi. House has everything you could need. Family of 7 and we were really comfortable. Melinda is an incredible host!

This was as “charming” as the description. I will absolutely recommend this place to anyone I know that desires a quaint retreat in FREDRICKSBURG!

I have never been able to stay at such a beautiful, enchanting accommodation at such a great price point! The entire property is like stepping into a dream and the villa itself is unreal. The pool, hot tub, outdoor shower, and greenery are incredible! Check in and out are easy and their welcome binder makes every villa process easy to figure out. Barbara is such a kind, phenomenal host who I cannot say enough good things about! The property manager is wonderful as well. They are absolutely the heart of this place! It is so clear that this is a labor of love and I am so grateful for having the chance to have spent just over a week here. There is even a book with local recommendations for guests! I highly recommend this villa for any person or group and am already looking at return possibilities to see how soon my best friend and I are able to come back. We had the best trip of our lives!

Beautiful property and very convenient location to both downtown Fredericksburg and area wineries. The house was very clean and well suited for two families with four King bedrooms, two on each side of the house. We drew straws for the primary room! :) We wish the pool were heated so we could have enjoyed it more, but the backyard is great and fenced in (do take note that the pool is not fenced, which may be a concern for those traveling with young children). We had a great stay and would recommend it. One more note is its close proximity to their wedding venue. No events were going on, but there are always people on the property and others staying at adjacent yurts. It was no problem for us and very quiet, but wanted to mention that. The grounds are well kept and our friends enjoyed walking their dog and exploring the property along with the neighborhood deer!

Very nice property in a lovely area. Owners were timely to respond to messages about recommendations and pleasant to deal with. Plenty of room in the well appointed home for our family of 5. Cleaners had just finished as we were arriving (we arrived slightly early) and did a fantastic job-everything was spotless- kitchen, bathrooms, living room, dining room-even the expansive pool/spa area. I usually don’t take it for granted that when an owner says that you won’t need to bring anything that it really applies (it drives me nuts when the first thing we need to do after checking in is run to store to get TP, Coffee, garbage bags, paper towels, laundry detergent, etc) but we were in need of nothing for our stay. I do appreciate that…🤠 Beds were very comfortable and very clean! Heated pool and hot tub were clean and well maintained-looks beautiful at night and got lots of use by our family. Loved playing board games in front of fireplace afterwards! Wouldn’t hesitate to come back😎

We had a really nice stay with our family over the holidays. The home is beautiful, is furnished nicely, and has a great kitchen. The backyard was really beautiful and has a nice pool and hottub. The only downside we experienced was some water heating and pressure issues - the shower running heavily affected the water pressure in other parts of the house like the kitchen sink or the other shower. Overall we really enjoyed our stay!

This wonderful cabin truly delivered the perfect blend of rural tranquility and urban accessibility. When my aunt flew into town from Irvine for bluebonnet season, I wanted to find accommodations that would showcase the beauty of the area while still offering comfort and convenience - and this cabin exceeded all expectations. She loved it! The cats were precious and not in the way at all, perfect touch. Thank you very much Melissa for all your help! I’ll be back

We loved our stay at the Woodshed! A short drive from downtown Wimberley but away from the traffic. Really enjoyed the hot tub and even watched one of the many movies they provided. The mornings were spent with our coffee on the porch. All for a great price. Debbie was very detailed with both instructions and things to do and see! We will definitely come back!

Very nice and cozy cabin, we really enjoyed our stay and my favorite part was the view plus the hot tub. Very close to canyon lake and about a 30/40 minute drive to Wimberley. Overall a great choice for a getaway.

We had a great couples weekend. The cabin was spacious and cozy. The surroundings were beautiful and quiet. Just what we needed to get away from kids and city life. Peace and quiet.

My husband and I came here for our eight year anniversary and we loved and enjoyed every minute of our stay. We did not want to leave and we already can’t wait to go back. This place exceeded our expectations and is not far from Main Street. We wanted a place to relax and escape and be with nature and also be able to access the touristy areas of Main Street and shop. Jean we can’t thank you enough for every little detail in the cabin and the area was amazing , we loved waking up to the deer and relaxing at night in the jacuzzi . THANK YOU!!!!

Great place, beautiful cabin, just what we needed!!

This cabin was so cozy and felt so private and peaceful. The atmosphere and decor were so great and showed that alot of love was put into this place. Our host was so accommodating and attentive with messaging and any questions we had. It is close enough to main street to be just a short drive, but is well isolated from the crowd.
