I honestly think this place is worth more than what i paid. The sounds of water and surrounding birds made me have the greatest sleep I've ever had in my life. Ansie is friendly and very welcoming. She also has a quick response time. I wish I had stayed longer. The pictures do not do this place justice

Michelle was extremely hospitable and went beyond to ensure we were comfortable. the rooms were spotless with everything we needed.

A lovely, spacious house with a beautiful garden. Near to restaurants and shops but quiet enough to enjoy the peace of the area.

From booking to departure, easy and convenient. Fantastic shower, very comfortable bed, friendly hosts.

I booked the house for my brothers and their wives, I personally did not visit the property however they could not stop raving on about how beautiful the property was and how much they enjoyed their stay. The only downer is the 2 night minimum requirement, the house was empty on the first night as we only needed it for 1 night.

Bergwinds is a wonderful cottage to stay in. We stayed in it for the Drak challenge race and it was very conveniently close to the start of Day 2 (old day 1). The cottage had everything we needed - kitchen had all the pots/pans needed, gas stove and oven which was great when the electricity went out with a storm, plenty of space for the children to run around. The on-site staff were friendly and proactive. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful place, tucked away in a quiet corner of Free State. Great commutation by the host. The place is very clean especially areas that matter; the bathroom, linen and towels. My family and I felt safe.

A nice small cottage at the end of a lovely town with a few restaurants and pubs, very safe. We stopped for a night on our journey with 3 children. We all got a good night sleep.

This was definitely a place which required an additional days stay :)

The Place was recently built, all is new and clean. The apartment is well locate near the main road at Parys and close to many shops and restaurants. Peaceful and comfortable. Good value for money.

I cannot recommend Wikus and the Olive chalet more! What a fantastic place for a stopover on a long journey. So kind and thoughtful and his communication was fantastic! 5 stars!! The cafe onsite is also a must and so convenient and their Sunday buffet lunch a huge win. They cater for both vegetarian and “a bit of everything” food lovers! The beautiful setting is a great bonus. You will not be disappointed to stay here! Thanks again for your hospitality, Wikus!

Our host Anton was very hospitable from the moment we started communicating with him until we arrived, he welcomed us beautifully and showed us everything we needed. He immediately made us feel right at home. Everything is exactly what is described so it is worth your money. Thank you for hosting us nicely in a clean house. We will definitely come back in future.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property, a great location with swimming pool and beautiful views of the mountains and lots of lovely wildlife. Judith, our host was very helpful and responded quickly to any questions we had. Super peaceful place and a great base from which to explore the Drakensberg.
