We enjoyed our stay at Blueberry Hill estate. Was a great little getaway. The property has beautiful views and plenty of outdoor spaces and activities to do. We enjoyed being able to bring our dogs on the trip. Short commute to French Lick and plenty of things to do in the area.

Our family LOVED staying here! The house itself was AMAZING and we loved being surrounded by nature. The teenagers loved the hot tub and darts, my nine year old loved the Wii and bunk room, my husband loved seeing the deer in the evenings and turkeys in the morning and I loved how beautiful the house was and how beautiful the country views were. (But still within 20 minutes of a Walmart.) The hosts were available and responsive, but we really never needed anything from them because the house set up was so intuitive. We did a day trip into Louisville, which was an easy 40 minute drive. Ten out of ten recommend Activate for family fun and the Outlet Shoppes of the Bluegrass had something for everyone. We also visited the Marengo Cave US National Landmark, which was only 15 minutes away and had a fun maze for only $5 each. French Lick was also only about half an hour away and had cute shops and resturants. Everything combined made this an absolutely wonderful family vacation!!!

This quaint and well-appointed cabin is peace personified, yet it’s only 10 minutes from town. Kudos to the cleaners, host and previous guests for keeping it so. I loved sitting by the back window, reading and watching the wildlife. Host Japheth provided detailed information on the cabin and its location in his welcome email. We didn’t follow his suggested/more direct route through French Lick to arrive the first time-the drive through the country was appealing to these city folk. We loved the vistas and twisty roads! The washer and dryer were appreciated, too. They allowed us to pack lightly. Hoot Owl Hill Cottage rates five stars.

KC is an excellent host!! The property was beautiful!! Enjoyed the outdoor dining and seating options. Absolutely lovely place to relax and enjoy the views. Everything was set up for our evening campfire and s’mores by the pond. KC had great recommendations for local places of interest. The house had everything we needed and more…lots of extra items available in case you forget things…which we did and were so thankful and a pantry that was stocked with many extras! Truly next level stay!
