This location was amazing! We were about a 10 minute walk to all the French Quarter had to offer. Erika was so responsive and sweet - she made sure we were able to store our luggage at the beginning and end of our trip. Additionally, the accommodations were perfect for our group of 5 - everything was spotless, we each had our own bedroom and bath and the thoughtful amenities (toiletries, snacks and beverages) were a caring nice touch! We would definitely return!

This Airbnb was a great find for our family trip! Not only was it easy to walk into the busier parts of the city, but we were easily able to find good food/drink options nearby too!

We stayed at this lovely home for a family Thanksgiving get-together. This home was perfect for our family. We know New Orleans well, and we appreciated the quiet location that is still central to most New Orleans attractions. The best thing about this house is the owners, Phil and Lydia. There were some issues during our stay. A shower head needed repair and a workman had turned the gas supply to the range off. Phil and Lydia were remarkably quick to reply and to get these problems taken care of quickly. They usually answered within minutes when we messaged them through Airbnb. The outdoor and pool area is lovely. The kitchen is very well equipped. We love the mid-century interior-so much character! Overall this is a beautiful home and a very good choice for anyone spending time in New Orleans.

The two houses are brilliant for a large group, each room is very individual and the house has everything you could want in it. The location is outstanding with a short walk to reach a wide variety of cafes, bars and venues. Within twenty minutes or so you are in the middle of Bourbon Street. Joshua was very responsive, answering our questions beforehand and everything went extremely well. We managed to time our stay during an unseasonably cold period so wished we’d asked for the outside pool to be heated (it costs extra) - only a couple of us braved the exhilaration of a chilly morning, New Orleans dip! This is a great place to stay and I’d highly recommend it.

Large house with everything we needed! Well located and can sleep quite a few people comfortably.

Var’s place over-exceeded our expectations. The house was very spacious and accommodated our large family. The heated pool was a bonus. We spent most of our time outside by the pool. I would definitely like to stay here again!

Erich was a gracious host and very accommodating. It was unusually cold for New Orleans and as the converted and refurbished shotgun duplex. The HVAC system was first rate, but even so, it was hard to heat quickly and he provided us with space heaters to compensate. He was easy to contact and very responsive. The on site parking was a must as it was also the first weekend of Mardi Gras. The place easily accommodated 20 family members who gathered after the memorial service for our sister. One of the best we've stayed in and we've stayed in numerous airbnb's.

I would give 100 stars if I could! This home was perfect for our family visiting for Mardi Gras. We love the historic Algiers neighborhood location! So close to the ferry crossing to downtown and the French Quarter. It’s street parking, but even during Mardi Gras we had no problem finding parking within a block of the house. The home was immaculate! We were greeted with a yummy King Cake when we walked in! Gorgeous high ceilings, doors and wood floors. A magical private porch with plenty of seating. Plenty of bathroom and cleaning supplies for our 5 day stay. Provided so much good information for people who aren’t familiar with the areas. We have family and have visited there my whole life, but they gave safety info and tips that only locals think of - I’ve never seen another AirBnb or hotel share (bathroom bracelets! Places not recommended for small children) I could go on and on. I would BUY this home if I could. Thank you Jeff & David for sharing your wonderful home with us ❤️

This house has everything and more! The location is walkable to Frenchman St and the French Quarter. A quiet neighborhood. Beautifully appointed home with plenty of space for gathering in a clean, spacious and comfortable setting. Our host was extremely generous and welcoming. They were extremely responsive in their timely communications. I would recommend this house to all!

Could not ask for a more perfect location for such a reasonable price. We will definitely put it at the top of our list for our next visit. The proximity, less than 6 short blocks, to the streetcar line means you can easily access all kinds of attractions. There was also lots of street parking across the street from the stop. The home was just as described. Older home, with just minor imperfections, that has everything you need for a decent sized group. 7 of us stayed and easily worked out bathroom usage, especially because there are plenty of conveniently placed mirrors. The washer and dryer were a great addition as well. Look forward to visiting again.

This was a great stay in a very good location! We have been coming to New Orleans for years and this has been our favorite! Lots of great space and amenities. Will definitely be back! Alleshia is an outstanding host!

The house had plenty of space for our group and the parking spaces could easily fit our two vehicles and larger pick up truck. you can walk to bourbon street, which is what we were after, easily and there were a couple of local spots along the way. If I have a bigger group I would stay here again.

We had an AMAZING time. Everything was perfect. Carrie was a fantastic host! She was quick to respond & very helpful with any questions. Easy 5min Uber to anywhere or 20-30min walk around the city. Everything we ate was delicious. Couple recommendations, the listing should be updated to reflect: having the 1 kitchen (we appreciated having the bigger table & it does better accomodate a larger group) it should also say 6 full bedrooms & list a sofa sleeper which is available. I know it said 10 max capacity but this listing would comfortably accomodate 12 without including the sleeper sofa.

The host was very responsive from beginning to end. Ran into a hiccup and it was resolved almost immediately. The place was very pretty and the area was homey. 1000/10 would recommend.

one of the best stays I have had using airbnb! Shena welcomed us with an amazing cake and mardi gras themed bears!! She was amazing and communicated so well throughout thr stay!! 10/10!!

The stay was perfect for a large group. Each family had their own room and en suite bathroom which came more in handy than I thought it would. The place is as described and updated. There were snacks and wine waiting for us which was a nice touch after travel. Street parking was ample and there's a "corner store" across the street if you need ANYTHING (no, literally they sell just about anything you need other than gas.) All guests said that they would come back and use this space again (even the AirBnB first-timers). 10/10.

Very Nice for the price.

I’ve stayed in Nola many times, this is one of my favorite places so far. We all absolutely adored the history, the antiques, and the overall ambience. Very convenient to everything you’d like to do in the French Quarter. Extremely thoughtfully appointed. Tons of towels, Wonderfully stocked kitchen, two sets of washer and dryers, and the pool was lovely. Also, the decorating was marvelous. Can’t say enough good stuff about this host and the house manager. Really went above and beyond.

Conveniently located, well designed home. Thomas was easy to communicate with and we enjoyed our experience here during Super Bowl weekend.

Highly recommend. A group of nine of us stayed at Michael's place for a charity stickball tournament in NOLA and all of us slept well in the comfortable beds and greatly enjoyed the warm pool for relaxing and for a poolside BBQ. Michael was super friendly and highly responsive to all of our requests and we had everything we need. Check-in and check-out were as easy as can be and we felt welcomed by Michael's kindness and the beautiful home. Thanks again Michael - we will be back!

Had a great stay at The Syd for a bachelor party weekend! Despite weather not being the warmest we were still able to enjoy the hot tub and even the pool as that too is heated. The location is walkable to many destination and close to trolley tracks. Definitely consider staying here if you need a place to accommodate a large group gathering!
