We had a lovely weekend stay at the property. The villa is very clean, and kitchen is well stocked (cooking oil, cling wrap, coffee, all the kitchen utensils you would need) and beautifully styled. A big smart tv was an extra bonus. It was 10 min drive to centre of Albany and around the corner from a golf club we got dinner from on Friday. A very short walk to Middleton beach. I would definitely recommend the property and visit again.

A great villa just a minute's walk to a lovely beach. The holiday home was really comfortable, lovely and clean and well equipped. It was a great size for our family of 5 and in a perfect spot by the beach and a lovely coastal walk.

Great Place to stay and had everything we needed, as well as being only a short walk from the beach. We would definitely return.

We had a great stay here with our dogs. The house is very clean and has all the facilities that you need on a relaxed holiday. The back veranda is spacious and is a good, sheltered place to enjoy the views of the natural environment and wildlife. It is close to the Prawn Rock Channel which you can walk to very easily from the house, and to other beaches such as Ocean Beach and Lights Beach which are just a short car journey.

This is a lovely light house in a truly special location with fantastic views from every window. Well equipped and good communication from responsive hosts. Lots of walks and things to do are close by: Recommend the Bald Head Trail and Whaling station both of which were great. It was very windy during our stay so not too much beach time unfortunately. Would love to come back one day.

Thanks for hosting us at your place Lorelle. It was a great base for us to stay and prepare for the wedding we were attending. 5 bedrooms and 3 separate bathrooms were ideal for a group like ours.

A picture book perfect stay! My bridesmaids and I stayed at Balgowen Cottage the night before my wedding. We had a wonderful night then a wonderful day getting ready for the celebration. The renovation at the cottage is so beautiful; restrained and gentle is how I would describe the space. Not cluttered, but certainly not stark. Thoughtful furnishings, necessities plus some special touches such as beautiful books and love bath salts to enjoy. The fresh bread, fruit & real butter to name a few....and we must thank you for the champagne which was enjoyed once we were dressed & ready (to settle the nerves perhaps!).

Thank you for an absolutely beautiful stay. This has to be the best Airbnb we've ever stayed in. The house was clean and well looked after and had everything we needed and the views are just spectacular. We could have just sat at the house our whole stay and relaxed. The additional little person touches were just the icing on the cake. We all wanted to stay longer and we were sad to leave.

Catherine's place is very spacious and well stocked, with wonderful views of Albany and the harbour, and in very comfortable walking distance of Albany town. Catherine was very responsive and kind when we locked our keys in the house! A very relaxing stay.

What a beautiful place to stay! The views from the back door, through to the kitchen, living area and front verandah out across the bay were stunning, especially in the early morning! This character heritage home had a wonderful welcoming vibe, with modern comforts! We spent some time wondering the cottage gardens, admiring the plants and sampling the home grown fruit and vegetables. We even spotted a large skink and a stunning large butterfly! The home is within walking distance of the town centre and cafes. It felt very kid friendly with plenty of books and games to play. The kitchen was well equipped, and the coffee machine was fantastic! The driveway could be challenging for some since it was steep and rather narrow between the fence and the house and there is no space to turn around at the top. We would suggest parking at the front if you don't feel confident. It comes with some old house quirks, such as creaky doors and floorboards adding to the yesteryear charm!

Lisa was a great host, very responsive, helpful and great to chat with. We will defiantly stay at her place again.

Charming property, well equipped and felt very much at home. An easy walk to the beautiful beach and short drive in to Albany. Mark was an excellent host and we would definitely return.

Gorgeous place, great for a couple of families. Enclosed yard to bring the dog too was great! Very very spacious and great location. Highly recommend.
