der aufenthalt bei claudine und david war sehr angenehm! ich habe mich wohl gefühlt und auch viel über die jamaikanische kultur gelernt. ich vermisse es jetzt schon..

Ms. Marie was very helpful. She was eager to welcome me and my friends. Even though I was the only person staying. My friends were thoroughly impressed by the room but the bathroom was the icing on the cake. I believe it was the rainfall shower head that sold it for them. The location was also very ideal as well as it is in walking distance to the town, amenities, food outlets and entertainment. I also love how quaint but modern and sophisticated the place feels. Thanks again Ms. Marie for having me. I will be back.

Cherise war nicht anwesend, daspr hat uns Ingrid sehr liebevoll umsorgt. Die Unterkunft, wie auch der Garten war sehr grossflächig. Die Küche war nicht für 4 Personen eingerichtet, jedoch war Ingrid immer zur Stelle, wenn wir mehr Kochgeschirr benötigten. In Portland hatten sie gerade Wasserprobleme, wobei uns Ingrid auch hier supper half und uns Tipps gab. Unser Nachbar war sehr gesellig und brachte uns ein jamaikanisches Gericht mit Lobster bei. Am Folgetag bekochte er uns, am dritten Tag kochten wir für ihn. Es war toll mit den Menschen in Kontakt treten zu können.

We loved it here. The welcome from Diane and Ms Jennifer was really friendly. The breakfast delivered by Jennifer every day was simply amazing and there was no space left for lunch afterwards! The view from the big covered terrace was lovely and the sounds of the waves was very relaxing. Beds were very comfy, showers were good, wifi was excellent, parking was easy and secure. We loved the Ital…ish restaurant 5 mins walk one way and the Gurley Aston jerk restaurant 5 minutes walk the other way. Everyone was really friendly, keen to chat and find out what you think of their corner of Jamaica but no hustle at all. Portland is a lovely rural, green area and the road to Boston Bay from the west is now in excellent condition. Go towards Long Bay to the east and you will find some truly terrible roads but they seem to have plans to resurface them at some point! Rafting on the Rio Grande was great and the Reach Falls were very untouristy and enjoyable. We would return anytime.

We had such a beautiful and memorable stay! Birgit and Richard were amazing hosts - so helpful, warm, and full of local knowledge. They gave us fantastic tips about things to do in the area and how to get to specific attractions, which made exploring so much easier and enjoyable. The breakfasts were an absolute highlight - delicious, fresh, and lovingly prepared. Each morning, we enjoyed them on the rooftop with a stunning view, featuring fresh products, homemade cakes, and so much care. It was truly special and very appreciated! Birgit and Richard were incredibly supportive and attentive to any questions or worries we had, and their kindness made us feel so welcome. They are truly wonderful people, and it was hard to say goodbye when our stay ended. Thank you so much for this amazing experience - we’d absolutely recommend staying here to anyone!”

**Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐** I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Floret. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth, hospitality and spiritual songs. The place was exactly as described, if not better. Immaculately clean, tastefully decorated, and equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect—close enough to explore all the local attractions but tucked away in a quiet neighborhood that allowed for a peaceful retreat. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I appreciated the thoughtful touches like fresh linens, a fully stocked kitchen, and local recommendations provided by the host. Floret was responsive and went out of her way to ensure my stay was perfect, even providing some great tips on nearby dining spots. Overall, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I would highly recommend.

Ms. Syble hosted our family at her home. The view is amazing and the home is spacious. She was a gracious and welcoming host. It was not uncommon to wake up to beautiful platters of callaloo, papaya, plantain, peppers and bush tea - all harvested from her garden. Boston Bay is a great location with the jerk center and beach just down the hill.

We've spent an excellent week-end in Port Antonio at KyMani's house. Our favorite: morning coffee with amazing view on the terrace! Great location, close to both Port Antonio and the surrounding beaches.
