Wil je rust, ruimte en luxe... dan ben je bij Ronald en Ellen aan het goede adres. De Schuilplaats biedt dit alles en meer. Met de smaakvolle inrichting voel je je meteen thuis en aan elk detail is gedacht. Van welkomsbord met onze namen tot aan verse thee en filterkoffie. Het ontbijt is ook een grote verwennerij waar we van hebben genoten. Ronald en Ellen zijn twee lieve mensen die je persoonlijk zullen verwelkomen en zeker een praatje met je zullen maken. De omgeving is prachtig en biedt voor ieder wat wils. Het waren twee heerlijke dagen hierdoor. Wij willen deze plek dan ook van harte aanbevelen. Met vriendelijke groet, Arno en Karin

Wunderbarer Aufenthalt in diesem kleinen Häuschen! Super nah an der Innenstadt und trotzdem ziemlich ruhig. Alles relevante ist Fußläufig erreichbar, die Unterkunft hat eine tolle Größe und Ausstattung! Die Gastgeber waren super freundlich (man hat sich einmal informell getroffen) und lieb. Ich würde die Unterkunft jederzeit wieder buchen!

Jochem is a very kind, considerate and flexible host. The location of the apartment is great: it is centrally located in the old city making many of the places of interest in Leiden less than a fifteen-minute walk away. The apartment is uniquely decorated and well-equipped. Highly recommended for a stay in Leiden! (We spent five days here.)

Nous avons passé des merveilleuses vacances chez Willems, je ne m’attendais pas à être dans sa maison mais tout est fait pour y être à l’aise. Un petit livret est posé afin qu’on sache quoi faire dans les environs. Ça aide beaucoup et il est super réactif lorsqu’on lui demande comment accéder à un endroit. Merci encore

Appartement spacieux et bien décoré dans une maison ancienne typique. Notre hôte nous a très bien accueilli malgré notre arrivée tardive. Beau petit déjeuner copieux. Nous recommandons sans aucune réserve.

It's a lovely place in a lovely location. Edwin was sweet, helpful, and responsive. We'd enjoy staying there again. There are two spiral staircases with narrow stairs. For us it was no problem, in fact we found them charming, but they feel a bit daunting at first, and might not be great for anyone who struggles with stairs. From that and other features of the apartment and the block it's on, we felt we got a very Dutch experience and it was fun. Thank you Edwin!

Es war sehr schön bei Annie. Sie hat eine schöne, saubere Anlieger Wohnung. Es ist sehr sauber und gepflegt. Leider keine richtige Küche. Das heißt auch kein Herd oder Backofen um was vorzubereiten. Aber für eine kurze Aufenthalt haben wir das nicht vermisst. Es gab ein leckeres Frühstück, welches im neben Raum abgestellt wurde. Wenn du magst, kannst du auch deine Favoriten mitbringen und lecker frühstücken. Die Wohnung hat ein direkten Zugang zum garten, den wir wegen der Kälte nicht nutzen konnten. Mann hat trotz die Nähe des Eigentümers, seine Ruhe. Eine schöne Wohnung. Wir würden die Unterkunft auf jedenfall weiter empfehlen.

Mijntje was a great host with fantastic communication before and during the stay. We loved the interior style of the house, the little garden and the neighbourhood. It was super stylish, yet cozy. :-) Little tip: During the cold season make sure you have some slippers with you, as the flooring is partly made of concrete.

Very welcoming family, they really care about this place and guests. You can chat a bit, take recommendations, ask for assistance with stuff like parking options around or second sheets and it’s all with respect to guests privacy and headspace so even if you’re introverted like myself you can still experience Dutch friendly vibe without being overwhelmed. Walking distance from busy streets but in peaceful neighbourhood makes this place such a gem.

We had booked the place for two nights and had a wonderful experience. Cathie was very nice and helpful and the place was wonderful as well. The surroundings were peaceful and perfect for a weekend. The breakfast were quite good as well Mayank

There is a reason Andrea has hundreds of five star reviews. She is a very responsive, kind, thoughtful and accommodating host. The location is great and easy to get to. it's walkable to public transit. Very private, and having the two outside sitting areas are such a treat. There are so many personal touches, everything I needed was available. The snacks were a blessing as I traveled all day and went for a nap on arrival. I woke up late at night feeling rejuvenated and hungry. The snacks were perfect and I was right back to sleep. I am going to make a second trip back to stay with Andrea before I leave Germany. Wir waren zu zweit für 2 Nächte dort. Der Empfang war sehr herzlich und freundlich. Die zur Verfügung stehenden Fahrräder waren eine tolle Möglichkeit um eine gemütliche abendliche Runde zu fahren oder auch in nichtmal 20 Minuten etwas einkaufen zu können. Mit unserem Auto sind wir in knapp 1h nach Zandvoort ans Meer gefahren. Es war unglaublich entspannend und die Gegend ist sehr schön.

Es war wirklich eine wunderschöne Zeit – die Unterkunft ist traumhaft und die Gastgeber sind unglaublich freundlich und herzlich. Wir haben uns vom ersten Moment an rundum wohlgefühlt. Ein besonderes Highlight war das liebevoll zubereitete Frühstück. Einfach perfekt!

My partner and I stayed at Sylvia and Lex B&B in Utrecht for a week to attend a conference and we both found it charming and very comfortable. Sylvia was a very personable host and we always had very good communications. We so appreciated all the extras like wine and local beer, fresh eggs, bread, and meats and cheese as well the coffee and teas. We both slept comfortably and had no problem following instructions for heating or various appliances. What makes this place so special is it's location right on the canal in the heart of Utrecht. Even with the cooler weather we enjoyed every day! All of the artworks and books in the flat also create a unique visual experience - I love the grasshopper drawing! Utrecht is a very special place and staying here, in the medieval center with the bells chiming and boats floating by on the canal are incredibly memorable and romantic. Thank you again, we highly recommend!

Our stay at this charming Amsterdam apartment was fantastic! From the moment Maarten welcomed us, we were delighted by the thoughtful touches, including a well-stocked fridge filled with fresh goodies like milk, orange juice, cheese and more. The space itself was beautifully designed, blending modern comfort with the charm of the city. It was spotless and had everything we needed for a relaxing, enjoyable stay. The location couldn’t have been more perfect. It’s right in the heart of the city and within walking distance of all the main attractions. Whether we were exploring the canals, visiting museums, or enjoying the local cafés, everything was just a short stroll away. Despite being so central, the apartment felt peaceful and provided the perfect retreat after a day of sightseeing. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Amsterdam. We’ll be back!

Wij hebben het huisje van Anton en Ans gereserveerd vanwege een feestje bij Café Ruimzicht. De locatie was voor ons ideaal en de communicatie vanaf begin zeer vlot en soepel. Ans en Anton zijn geweldige gastvrije en flexibele mensen. Het appartement heeft een eigen ingang en alle voorzieningen zijn zelfstandig, waardoor je zeer veel privacy hebt, met een huiselijk gevoel. Op de afgesproken tijd was het ontbijt perfect verzorgd met vers fruit, brood en stond het in de gang om op te halen, zodat het op eigen gemak te nuttigen was. Voor ons zeker voor herhaling vatbaar.

Ondanks dat we in nov kwamen met niet het beste weer, hebben we ontzettend genoten! De locatie is heerlijk rustig, goed bed en heerlijke ontbijtjes. We hebben met de fiets in 1 dag een groot deel van Texel gezien. De restaurants in Den Burg zijn ook geweldig en helemaal niet duur.

Beautiful house in a peaceful area. Adrie and Rita are so helpful and friendly and the included breakfast was wonderful. The mattress is a little soft for me but that is a personal preference and overall our short stay was excellent!

Der Aufenthalt war sehr angenehm. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker mit viel Auswahl. Auf Wünsche (vegetarisch) wurde super eingegangen. Die Unterkunft hatte ein schönens Flair. Man hat sich sehr wohl gefühlt. Auch genügend Handtücher und co im Bad wurden zur Verfügung gestellt. Die Unterkunft ist sehr zu empfehlen! Saskia war sehr freundlich und hat alles ausgiebig erklärt.

Ich bin mit meinem Hund eine Nacht bei den beiden geblieben und habe den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Die Badewanne war mein persönliches Highlight aber auch das leckere Abendessen hat mich sehr überzeugt. Die beiden sind äußerst freundlich und ich habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt.

Si vous souhaitez un logement paisible , au calme avec un bel environnement. Je vois conseil ce logement.

Monique was an excellent host! She was very kind, flexible, and her breakfast was great. The room is a bit far from center city (took us about 45 mins to get in via train or a 20 min drive). If you plan to be in city Id recommend spending the whole day there and accounting for that. But we loved this airbnb and appreciated the neighborhood being a bit quieter.

Uns hatte es hier vor ein paar Jahren so gut gefallen, dass wir jetzt noch mal kommen mussten. Wir waren erfreut, dass sich nichts geändert hat. Ok, diesmal war das Wetter besser. Es kann also sein, dass wir in ein paar Jahren noch einmal vorbeikommen.

Die Untekunft von Yvonne ist sehr schön, man hat alles was man braucht um ein paar Tage auszuspannen. Yvonne is eine herzlich liebe Frau, die bei uns einen sehr positiven Eindruck hinterlassen hat, auch sind die beiden Hunde sehr Wohlerzogen und sehr lieb.
