It was a great place! Beautiful stay. We had 8 people total and it was big enough for us to not feel cramped. Would return in the future.

This was a very comfortable property. It definitely lived up to the advertisement! Unfortunately, we didn’t get to try the eggs. I wish we had brought a carton container with us. My daughter-in-law was able to visit with Sherry and see the chicken coop first hand. The tub/shower combo was beautiful. The coffee/tea provisions were appreciated. We will definitely keep it in mind as I have MS appointments at Hotel Dieu that extend over days. Clean, comfortable and perfect for our canine family members! 10 minutes out of the city. We will be back!

We loved the quiet, peaceful surroundings, the spaciousness of the cottage, and the beautiful views from every window. We love music and spent a couple of evenings just sipping wine and listening to music through the sound system routed through the ceilings. The kitchen was beyond well equipped! Further, Donna delivered extra pellets for the stove before we had to ask, and Erik generously mitigated the problem with the hot tub. Truly special hosts who care about their guests and their comfort.

Our six weeks stay at Heathers place was amazing. She is one of the most accommodating hosts we have ever had the pleasure of meeting. The house was supurb, well heated and cozy for our winter stay. The kitchen modern and well equipped. The two bedrooms we used were a little small but more than adequate for our needs and the yard spacious. We had such a lovely family retreat. The lot size was VERY spacious and had room for many outdoor activities. That said, it would have been amazing to have a fenced in yard for our dogs, but we knew what we were getting into. Everything was clean and organized. Being right on the water was amazing! The kids were able to play by the shore and we were all able to enjoy the water. If you’re thinking about staying here, stop thinking and book (: Thank you for hosting our family, including our fur babies!

Jeff’s place was great for our stay with a 2 year old and 5 year old. Lots of toys and things to explore. The place is lovely and well furnished with everything you need and Jeff was quick to respond to any inquiries we had. The only thing that we noticed was missing was curtains, but it wasn’t an issue for us, as the sun rose after our kids did. Something to keep in mind in case you have a crew more sensitive to light.

The girls had a wonderful stay at the North Sky Retreat. Julie was very helpful and her house was just perfect for four people to stay, each with their own bedroom. The house was exceptionally well stocked with supplies, linen, towels and those extras you may need. Julie accommodated the dog that accompanied on this trip as well. The fresh eggs were a bonus and the free range chickens were fun to watch. The grounds were lovely and the walking path was a perfect was to take in the nature around the house. Hopefully this stay will become a tradition! Thank you!

This home was one of the most relaxing Airbnbs we’ve stayed at. From the moment we walked in, we felt right at home. You can tell the hosts have hospitality experience because there wasn’t one thing we felt like we were missing while we were there. Example: we forgot toothpaste and found it easily right in the amenities basket in the bathroom. We highly recommend this spot for a staycation. It’s 2 hours away from Toronto and just the perfect spot for a weekend away. It’s definitely on our list to go back to!

It is a lovely apartment that is spacious. The bed is very comfortable. It is just off the main street but it is in a very quiet area. We found some great restaurants in the village which is just minutes away. And it doesn't take long to get into Kingston. We had a good visit and would stay here again.

Our stay at Melisha was really nice and peaceful. The place is huge, inside and outside and there is a lot of games left for the guests. Perfect for a quiet or a family retreat.

Stayed here for a long weekend. Maria was very friendly, helpful, and responsive from the very beginning. The place itself is in a quiet and beautiful area, especially during the winter when it was covered in snow. The apartment is very clean and tidy and has all the pots and utensils needed for cooking. It even has an Xbox 360 and a bunch of board games, which we made use of during our stay. While we were there, it snowed heavily and Maria was kind enough to clear a path for our car in the morning and even offered us some delicious freshly baked bread! I 100% recommend this place and would stay here again the next time I'm in the area!

This was my second time in a year staying here. Ralph and his wife are kind and accommodating people. I will definitely be staying here again in the future when visiting the area. Thanks again for everything Ralph, we had a fantastic time!

Laura and Dale's Cottage was such a cozy, sunny, beautiful place nestled in a wooded lot right on the water front. We spent a week there in October and loved the wood fireplace and warmth that the cottage brought. The kitchen was charming with lots of well placed windows. Everything you needed for cooking was available. The board games were nostalgic and fun to play. The bed and bedding was so comfy and perfect for reading in the mornings. The view from the bedroom window was otherworldly especially the full moon coming across the water and the Autumn leaves were spectacularly gorgeous! We cant say enough about this place. We highly recommend it and we hope to return again.

Absolutely amazing, we had great plans, but the ice storm and the cozy fireplace changed those plans. Hermann and Tracy were an absolute blast! Super chill, and super friendly, we would come back just to spend time with them! We had a cute visitor to come check up on us as well! We hope to be back, thank you hosting us Hermann and Tracy!

We had a wonderful stay in this cabin where we spent two days remote working and a weekend (internet connection is reliable). It is peaceful, we saw some little animals outside the cabin like a rabbit and a deer. Snowhoes are available to explore the domain and there is an access to the lake. It is beautiful, recharging and very homy. Thank you Magret

Julie sent us the cottage address and more information well in advance of our arrival. She was friendly and even though she lives close by we couldn't see her house and she gave us total privacy. The hot tub was so amazing and secluded. The house was warm and clean. Very quiet location. We will definitely visit again! Thank you Julie!

Such a peaceful, beautiful location hosted by very friendly, easy-going people. We enjoyed the setting in amongst the trees with open sky views and were blessed with a clear sky on our second night to see the magical array of stars! We will definitely be back!
