Chathura is a very friendly and helpful guy! The Villa is great, simple and clean. Location is a little walking distance, but for that reason perfectly quite. Every night the Garden was packed with fire flies - magical! We went on a tour to the cinamon garden at his parents House and had great and private conversation about life. Thank you very much for everything!! :)

We stayed at this beautiful villa in Sri Lanka with a group of six, and overall, it was a fantastic experience. The villa itself was spacious, clean, and very well-maintained. The host was incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay, which made everything even more enjoyable. The highlight was definitely the private swimming pool — perfect for relaxing and cooling off. The villa is located right on the beach, which made for stunning views and peaceful vibes. However, one thing to note is that the sea was too rough for swimming during our stay due to strong waves. So while the beach setting was beautiful, we mostly stuck to the pool for swimming. That said, everything else was excellent, and we had a great time. Highly recommend this villa for a relaxing getaway in Sri Lanka!

It was a pleasure to stay here. We had everything we needed. Nihal helped a lot: with transfers, sightseeing, food, house, etc. We didn't have any problems. He's a great host! I highly recommend it!

We had a Honey moon and New Year in Akain villa. The villa is situated very close to the ocean. We prefer to see sunsets at the beach. The owners are very kind and friendly people. They help us, brought everything what we need. In the eve of New Year Candy and Lakmina organized unforgettable beach party with national food and fireworks for their guests! There is 20 minutes to the fish market by foot. Every Saturday there is the market not far from the villa. We have wonderful time in this house.

We really loved staying here. The house was spacious, nice big bedrooms and beds and the best feature was the pool looking straight onto a clean, empty, beautiful beach. We spent hours on the terrace and in the pool. Martin was always quick to respond and Mr. Sampath and the staff at the villa were always very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was excellent and the Sri Lanka curry option on the menu was most enjoyable. I’d strongly recommend Villananda to anyone thinking of booking.

It was fantastic stay! We enjoyed sunrises and sunsets 🥰 Garden was so beautiful! We love when there are a lot of light in the house and that's the right option. The host was so nice and kind! We adore our dinner and his caring in general. Place is really quiet and cozy. We slept so well. We found breathtaking beach near the house. No crowds and worries at all! Only small turtles and blue waves. We also recommend "Kat's coffee" place, great food and drinks, worth visiting. Our first experience in Sri Lanka was amazing because of this house!

Mango house was just perfect for our stay in Unawatuna. We felt very welcome from the beginning. The team was amazing and made our stay very special. Manoj was very good with communication and answered our questions/requests asap. The villa was very spacious, airy and very well maintained. We enjoyed our morning coffees in the upper veranda and breakfast was excellent with variable menu. I would also recommend to order lunch from the team; it was an unique experience. Beds were comfortable and nice showers with plenty of hot water. The location is a bit uphill, but nothing we couldn't manage. I would love stay here again some day.

I have stayed in many Airbnbs, and I am very picky when it comes to finding the right place. Honestly, after our stay, I feel a bit sad… because I know it will be impossible to top this experience! We had an absolutely dreamlike stay at this stunning beachfront Airbnb. From the very first moment, we felt like we were staying with friends – Bianca, Dasun and Dinu were incredibly warm, attentive, and took care of everything around the clock. Not only did they drive us around Weligama and Mirissa, but they also shared great local tips and made sure we experienced the real Sri Lanka. Early check-in was no problem at all for them, and throughout our stay, they thought of every little detail. The house itself is perfect – clean, comfortable, and with a breathtaking location right by the ocean. We can only highly recommend this place and would come back in a heartbeat! 5 out of 5 stars aren’t enough! Thank you for a heart full of memories and beautiful moments from this unforgettable time

Es war alles super! Eine richtig tolle, moderne Wohnung. Wir haben die letzten Tage unserer Reise eigentlich nur am Pool verbracht und sind nur zum Essen rausgegangen. Alles auch wirklich sehr sauber. Das einzige zur Lage ist, dass die Wohnung zwischen Gleisen und ner Straße liegt. Es ist also laut. Das war uns nicht bewusst. Man gewöhnt sich aber immer an alles. Würden wiederkommen!

The White Sand Villa stay will be the highlight of my Trip to Sri Lanka. The Villa was Fantastic with a Pool and just a Few Steps from the white Sand and your the Prive Indian Ocean Lagoon. the Staff was just so Nice took care of all our requests. The Chef just made best food what we wanted. I will recommend this Villa to anyone. Nirasha was Fantastic host.

Our stay at Kaya Cottage was absolutely incredible. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the beautiful surroundings and peaceful ambiance welcomed by peacocks and birds. The private pool was a highlight—perfect for a relaxing dip at any time of the day. The spacious living area was tastefully designed, creating a cozy atmosphere. We also loved the huge, well-equipped kitchen, which made cooking a delightful experience. The cottage itself was impeccably maintained, with attention to detail in every corner. Whether lounging by the pool, enjoying the open living space, or simply soaking in the serenity, every moment was truly enjoyable. We would highly recommend it and can’t wait to visit again!

Sunil was the best host we had in Sri Lanka. We were welcomed with fresh and cooled coconuts. He and his colleagues were super friendly and the accommodation was even better than expected. During the tasty breakfast, we were even able to see the turtles in waves.

If you’re looking for a private beach with the ocean, this is the place for you! Far from popular tourist spots, you’ll find peace and tranquility here. There are several oceanfront restaurants nearby. The staff is attentive, and excellent breakfasts were included!

Good place for family holidays. They have a chef who will plate some amazing food.

Had a great stay at this beautifully furnished, duplex condominium. The apartment has ample space, is extremely comfortable and ideally suited for a large family or group. It is also equipped with all the amenities you would expect from any 5* hotel. The host, Minoli was also extremely helpful and very pleasant to deal with. All in all, one of the best condominium properties in the area!

Die Unterkunft hat eine traumhafte Lage direkt an einem menschleeren Strand! Auch die Anlage der Unterkunft ist sehr schön gestaltet und läd dazu ein, sich dort aufzuhalten. Wirklich eine besondere und einzigartig gestaltete Bleibe!

Dilhan and his family welcomed us warmly from the start. We were well looked after and had people to contact around the clock. The apartment is clean and as shown in the pictures. Unfortunately, the apartment is opposite a very noisy street, but after the first few days this didn't bother us anymore and we were able to sleep well at night in the comfortable beds with earplugs. The apartment also has no hot water, but that didn't bother us at all in 30 degree heat. There is a bus stop right outside the front door from which you can get directly to Ahangama and Mirissa for little money. There is no air conditioning, but there is a powerful fan in every room. We highly recommend the accommodation and really felt very comfortable during our two weeks of stay :)

I stayed for two weeks at this beachfront villa in Ambalangoda, and it was an incredible experience. The villa is spacious, with large rooms and plenty of space to relax. Having a parking area was a huge advantage, especially for my rented motorcycle. Denuka, the host, was extremely helpful and responsive. He quickly addressed my requests via WP and ensured a smooth stay. Another highlight was Denuka’s uncle, who spends most of the day near the swing in the front yard. He is incredibly kind and always ready to help whenever needed. Exploring the surroundings by motorcycle was a fantastic experience—I highly recommend it. Overall, this villa is a great choice for anyone looking for a comfortable and scenic getaway. I would definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay at Jasper Ocean. The location is amazing. The villa is just a few yards from the ocean and we had the beach in front of the house mostly to ourselves. It was ideal for swimming as the water is quite shallow for quite a distance. The house itself is not quite as new as in the photos but still very nice and comfortable. The upstairs balcony is a lovely common area to read, relax, and take in the gorgeous sunsets. The staff was also very attentive and responsive to our needs. All in all, we had a very enjoyable stay at Jasper Ocean!

Wow.....We stayed for our winter break for two months and it was fantastic. The villa, although a little quirky was spotlessly clean and very comfortable, the outside areas were fantastic, really good pool and beutifully kept gardens, with direct access to the beach and nearby restaurants. Gievs was always on hand to give us local information and to resolve any problems that occurred. Having problems reaching the beach due to the sand retracting with the tide he organised wooden steps to make our access easier within day....fantastic. The biggest joy of our stay was the house manager...Sadika who was always on hand to keep the villa pristinely clean and serve the best gin and tonics in Sri Lanka. his mother would come and cook our meals if we wished and honestly, her food was outstanding, beating most restaurant standards in the area. Everything was perfect. Benett and hos family was so nice and helpful, the place has a perfect location with a beach-view. The beach and area was calm and really nice. Rekommend it and would love to go back.

Some of the reviews here made me second guess my booking, but you can't always rely on what you read. That said I LOVED my stay here, it was heaven on earth literally ON the beach. I am traveling through SL solo and this place was a dream, Ravi was so helpful and accommodating, he and I got along very well, (yes he is a bit rough around the edges) but you can't always judge a book by its cover. Ravi went out of his way to make me feel welcomed. Erich was amazing as well, his communicaiton was excellent, very responsive. Points: Make sure you discuss price upfront before anything. My only complaint is that Ravi had a bag of laundry done for me and the next day charged me $40 USD!!!! I was floored. I had two bags of laundry done a few days later for $6.50 USD wishing you both all the success ( I have already told 3 people to book with you when they get down South) I hope they do!

We have loved our stay here! The view was beautiful, and the area is very peaceful. We enjoyed some amazing sunrises—partly because there were no curtains! We were planning to wake up early anyway, but if you’d like to sleep in, keep this in mind (maybe bring an eye mask with you). The hosts were responsive and very helpful. Would definitely consider to come here again :)
