My daughters and I had a wonderful stay. The cabin was comfortable and beautifully decorated. The kitchen was very well stocked. The hosts provided lots of thoughtful touches (toothpaste, cotton balls, tampons, etc in the bathroom/coffee, popcorn, full spice rack, etc in the kitchen). The hot tub was lovely. The whole place was very clean. Would definitely recommend.

Everything in the home is brand new and beautiful. The furniture, appliances, and accents are all well coordinated and comfortable. Check in and access communication was easy to understand and follow. The home is an easy to walk to the mall and Charleston Civic Center. I would consider this a perfect choice for any activities at the Charleston Civic Center, or other venues in that area. I will definitely consider this house for my next trip.

The cabin was beautiful, clean and had lots of entertainment! The only thing we could complain about was the driveway. It is steep and we got stuck going up.

My husband and I and his brother and sister-in-law went for a weekend vacation. This place exceeded our expectations. The cabin was secluded, spotless and beautiful. The indoor fireplace was cozy. The bedrooms were comfy and private – I love the large windows looking out into the woods. We used the grill almost everyday and it was nice having home cooked meals away from home. Brian and Teresa responded quickly to our questions and were very kind. We would absolutely come here again!!

Beth's place was comfortable and we felt right at home! She stocked the house with anything we could need, and was a friendly and responsive hostess. The neighborhood was also quiet, which was nice. Highly recommend!

Krista is by far one of the sweetest people I have ever met! We had a couple hiccups but Krista was quick to respond and very proactive! The pictures are exactly as described, it’s a lovely place with plenty of room and no detail is overlooked! The bed was heavenly, the furniture was comfortable and the aesthetic was cozy! The best part is that there is connecting door to the restaurant (also operated by the hosts) Some of the best wood fired pizza I’ve ever had! When you are sitting in the front living room by the kitchen or even the porch it’s very quiet, however you can hear some muffled noises from the restaurant in the bedroom area. We didn’t mind it, made us want to get ready and head over quicker! All in all it was a fabulous weekend away and we will most definitely return! 🤩

Rachael’s house was absolutely charming and the perfect retreat for our family’s mini getaway in Hocking Hills. Every detail was beautifully curated, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere from the moment we arrived. Our kids especially loved the swing, which quickly became a favorite spot, and we spent countless hours playing checkers and cards in the cozy reading nook under the stairs. The hot tub was a highlight for everyone, making our stay even more relaxing and enjoyable. Everything about our experience was perfect, and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to unwind and make memories together. We highly recommend staying at The Mackenzie—it’s truly a special gem!

Beautifully decorated, well stocked, nice hot tub, private location. All you could ask for when booking a cabin. We hiked the Rockhouse trail and really enjoyed the caves, which is only .2 miles away. Plenty of wood on site to enjoy a fire. We visited two of the local wineries which were also fantastic and just a 20min drive from the cabin.
