Michael's home was precisely what we wanted for a two-week remote work/vacation. A classic 1920s house, room for two people to work, front porch that was perfect for drinking coffee on in the morning, and a private backyard with a hot tub that we used almost every evening. The street was exactly as busy/quiet as we wanted -- not so quiet that we felt like nobody lived there, but not so busy that we had to deal with traffic noise or heavy pedestrian traffic. We quickly made friends with the neighborhood cat, who would come sit on our laps if we were on the porch. In the evenings and on weekends we could walk to the beach and multiple restaurants, or take a five-minute drive into downtown Galveston. Overall, a beautiful house in a great location.

We stayed at Tammy's place with our 2 grandsons. It is a lovely place. The house was spotless and in a great location. Our grandsons spent so much time on the beach which is just steps away from the house. My husband and I could sit on the covered porch and watch them dig for hours. Of course, we were right there with them when they wanted to go boogie boarding (3 boards available at the house). The house was well stocked with dishes, glasses and pots. Tammy gave us recommendations on where to grocery shop and even a nice restaurant down the road. If I had a question, she was very responsive and answered quickly. The hot tub was an added bonus which we all enjoyed at night. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. We certainly hope to be able to visit again. Thank you!

The property is beautiful… there is a view from every window and balcony. You can see the ocean and the bay… unique for Galveston Island. There is a pond directly outside and with the fountain, which kept mosquitos away. The kitchen is good for entertaining a family, and there is a formal and outdoor dining area. I would suggest bringing a bed pillow, high quality pan, and extra roll of paper towels. Alex was nice and responsive. The resort is family oriented and the quiet was well worth the 20 minute drive. We will stay with this host again!

The place was exactly like the pictures. Easy check in and very responsive hosts. We felt right at home when we walked in. Easy access to the beach and the provided wagon, beach chairs, umbrella, and sand toys made it even nicer to enjoy the beach. We enjoyed the top deck area and view of the fountain and bay. The resort is about a mile away and provides nice amenities to enjoy if you choose to purchase the reasonably priced pass.

My family and I had a great stay. Every picture and everything listed were very accurate. Geat space and lots of sleeping accommodations.

Just what I needed for a last-minute get away.. a small house with the necessities. I was happy about the size because of my back injury; I can barely move or stand, so short distances were helpful. It was close by to all things that I needed to access! I did bring my two pups, and it was great for them. I had to observe them in the backyard because the fencing wasn’t super secure, but this was okay, as my dogs do not try to escape. This is a pet friendly stay, and there may be traces of dog hair, as there were some when I arrived. This did not deter me AT ALL, and the house was not unkempt by any means! Just something to keep in mind for anyone not use to pups. The bedroom sleeps a bit warm; the window unit may need a cleaning/maintenance. Minor detail. It was an accommodating visit. Candice is helpful. Pay attention to her instructions on the location. I was initially confused on where to go. Perfect for a quick couple of sleeps and providing a desk for remote work. Location was good for me. I was using the public boat ramp, and this place it right beside it. Access was easy. Everything in the house worked. AC was cold and water was hot. Everything you need to cook and entertain. Would stay again!

Barbara certainly put a lot of work, and personal touch to make this place right at home. We were very relaxed and happy here -our toddler also had so much fun. We would love go come back !

I started out looking for a place nearby my best friend’s home which the Airbnb luckily was located 10 minutes away. This was due to me having surgery and recuperating for at least two weeks here in Houston before I headed back to my hometown of Corpus Christi. Rebecca and Mai are excellent hosts. We loved everything about the Airbnb. Everything was clean. They were very responsive with messages. The area is super nice and friendly. The neighbors all came out and talked to us. Very dog friendly. We will surely be back in the summer and enjoy the beach. Thank you so much for the comfortable stay. It made post surgery all that much better staying at your home. Our family came in and spent a couple nights before our cruise and we had a wonderful stay. It’s a beautiful place and we really enjoyed the very short walk to the beach! I highly recommend for anybody looking for a place to stay in Galveston.

Hip-Nautical was a great place to stay this winter. Love the porch and deck. The dog had a great time walking on the beach and playing in the water. Pack a can opener.

This is our second time renting Choral Haven. It’s such a nice, cozy home, walking distance to the beach. The home looks just like the picture and everything you need is provided, plus more. We will definitely be back again.

Cute little place. Host was very accommodating even offered early check in if we needed it. Neighborhood was quiet. We stayed just as the winter storm was set to hit. Linda let us know it was OK to adjust the thermostat for our comfort level. Most places wont do that so that was a huge plus in my book. I am constantly cold. Living room and Kitchen felt much colder than the bedrooms but we slept comfortably. Great water heater. We had plenty of hot water for 3 adults to shower. All in all a good stay.

La maison est très belle et correspond parfaitement à la description. Sharon est très réactive et répond instantanément à toutes les questions. Nous avons même discuté pour le plaisir et pour nous réconforter avant et après le passage de l'ouragan Béryl. Heureusement la maison n'a rien eut. Seule la rue a été inondée. La maison se trouve très proche de la mer et après le mauvais temps, nous avons pu en profiter. J'étais seule avec mon fils et nous nous sommes senti comme à la maison. Merci beaucoup Sharon et à très bientôt !
