We had a very enjoyable 4 days in Taras beautiful home. Tara did a tremendous job she thought of everything that a family would need including the above ground pool/toys /beach. Very clean and relaxing. We felt very comfortable and safe. We will definitely go back.

This property is stunning. The airbnb has 3 floors , very spacious and close to all the hot spots in Houston. The hosts are quick to respond to messages and also friendly. I gave this airbnb 5 star and would recommend to family and friends.

We had 75 degree weather and rain for 5 days straight in July. Who would have thought?! Having the hot tub and fire pit really saved the trip for us. We did make it down to the beach each day for a couple hours but it was rainy and cool so we came back and warmed up in the hot tub. House was very clean and had a great selection of beach toys to borrow. Terrible mosquitos, but I think thats normal for the area and the amount of rain. Overall we had a nice time and would return. Peaceful place and comfortable

We had a wonderful stay at Jonathan’s house! It was spacious, clean, and perfect for the two of us. The backyard was peaceful and was a nice spot to relax. The heated pool was a great bonus, especially on cooler nights. The host was very easy to communicate with and made everything smooth from start to finish. Everything was just as described. We'd definitely come back!

We loved staying here. This house is beautiful and fit all our needs. Travis is definitely a super host and responded very quickly! Will definitely stay again if available! Nothing but good vibes and the kids very much enjoyed the pool!

Loved the location. Quiet yet steps to restaurants and shopping. The house had great amenities - pool & deck are awesome. Especially loved the en suite bathrooms and privacy - lots places in the house to find quiet, even if you are with a group.

My daughter and I stayed at this adorable house for a girls’ Galveston weekend. We just loved it. So cute and decorated so well. Neighborhood is nice and quiet and 3 blocks from the beach and close to the action. What a delight!!!!

What a great place! Worked so well for our family! We had 4 adults and two little kids and everyone slept comfortably and there was still more space. The process for checking in, checking out, and how everything worked was very streamlined. Communication was great! We were worried we might not make it because of a tropical depression, and Jerry was communicating back and forth with me prior to the stay. They provided all the items you might need including some items I hadn’t had at a stay before (think hotel stays). The proximity to the beach was great, not a “beachfront” but pretty darn close. There were many times I had to go back for and didn’t want to take the vehicle, easy walk. Would stay here again for sure!!

Jeff's home is absolutely beautiful!! The deck overlooking the canal with high end outdoor furniture is the place to be. Time & attention was taken in creating this retreat. As a designer I was impressed! What's even better is how easy it is to work with Jeff! He is very kind, accommodating, and communicative. We had special needs (specifically for the elevator) and when he learned there was a problem with it prior to our arrival that day, he already had a repairman on the way and resolved it very quickly. It is obvious that Jeff cares about his guests!

What a fun place to stay! Great directions, extremely clean! Friendly communication. Short walk to the beach, one that wasn’t crowded and felt very chill. Short drive to restaurants and entertainment, or you can get food delivery easily, as well. Impressed with the kitchen cooking items, including an Air fryer and slow cooker. Loved the multiple decks. Wonderful place!

Our Easter stay was amazing, it was not only fun but so relaxing too. We packed soo much but didn’t even have to, Misty&Kyle’s place had everything! The house was extremely clean and such an at home feel. The kids woke up and had a fishing tournament and my 6yo won! They caught crabs, croaker, black drum, pin fish and more. It was soo cool to watch the schools of fish at night before bed. I was nervous the kids would get very gross while fishing but they have plenty of water spouts around the home and the out door shower was soo handy from fishing and the beach, my kids didn’t even use the indoor shower! The outdoor seating was awesome too. If we are to stay in Galveston again we will def not even have to search for a different stay, we would love to come back right here ! We will also pack very light because we had everything we needed. We didn’t get a chance to use the kayaks because my kids and aunt just got straight into the canal and floated around. I cannot wait to come back !

Perfect place - was exactly as described. The host gave us very clear instructions and was responsive when we had questions. Would recommend to others and would stay here again if we come back to Galveston. We had 6 people and it was perfect size and comfortable

We had such a great family weekend at Jeff’s place. The kitchen has everything you need. Beds are very comfortable. Rooms were spacious and well appointed. Can’t beat the beach view and two minute walk to the waves. We will definitely book this place again, hopefully this summer - it’s a really great location and an awesome, very helpful and responsive host. My youngest especially loved the bunk beds and assortment of books in his room. Also - so many great balconies and so much space!

Everything was wonderful. Wish we could have stayed a few days more. With all you need like a small oven so you can do your own cooking if you like. Beautiful little place with almost all we needed. The only thing I feel is missing is a small dresser for clothes. Bigs thanks to Michael & Ashley for a great little place.

The house is gorgeous and it has the most amazing views. Sunrise from the master bedroom windows was the highlight of each morning. The owners were helpful and very responsive - we had one or two small issues at checkin that they handled immediately. We loved the closet of board games! The area is quiet and there is only one grocery store but it had everything we needed. We didn’t go to any local restaurants. A few things to consider: the listing says 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms. This is true but one bedroom and bathroom is in an apartment downstairs so it wouldn’t be good for kids. It is a longer walk than it appears to the beach. It was fine for me and the kids but would’ve been way too far for someone with mobility challenges. The kitchen wasn’t as stocked as I had hoped (no real glass wine glasses, only plastic, not a lot of silverware, short supply of spatulas etc). Finally, there were no amenities for the beach, no buckets or shovels, no beach towels, so pack your own.

Everything went wonderful for us to last minute book.

Tk was a wonderful & responsive host! Our originally booked place was in poor condition. Tk took our reservation for the next day, letting us check-in early. The house was perfect for our group. There's plenty of room for a large family. The dining tables are ideal for board & card games. The kitchen had plenty of dishes, varied pots & pans, & was easy-to-use. Everyone said their beds were comfortable. Tk let us know the city water wasn't usable for cooking and drinking (maybe because of the recent hurricane?). I would say, it's not great for bathing either. We ended up using gallon bottles for hair & hands. This house had quick easy access to the beach. The beach had other visitors but was never crowded. Everyone was responsible & respectful (no crazy music or drunken behavior). It was a very family friendly area. Overall we had a great time and really enjoyed the slower pace in Surfside!

Enjoyed our stay, close to all the best dining spots. We didn't have perfect weather during our stay, but we had a very relaxing time. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you need. We liked how there was plenty of lighting along the stairways leading up to the house. Will keep this one our list of places to stay again.

i needed a place for my family , to attend the galveston ironman , and this place was awesome. will definitely come back . great host .

We had a great stay at Casa Surfside. The house was clean and had everything we needed. Quality appliances and kitchenware that made cooking easy. Plenty of towels and toilet paper. Comfy furniture. Loved all the beach gear and toys for the kids! The location was excellent. Definitely recommend staying here!

Kevin's place was amazing! There were five of us girls that flew in from all different states to enjoy the rodeo at NRG Stadium. We left snow and cold! This house was so perfect for our stay with all the amenities and location! Safe, cute, quiet neighborhood and the pool and privacy was fabulous! If we come back or when we come back, we will book here again! Thank you!
