Michael and Tara were wonderful hosts. They were very responsive each time I reached out. The cottage was exactly as depicted in the photos. Great location close to the beach and restaurants. We enjoyed our stay!

We stayed at Tammy's place with our 2 grandsons. It is a lovely place. The house was spotless and in a great location. Our grandsons spent so much time on the beach which is just steps away from the house. My husband and I could sit on the covered porch and watch them dig for hours. Of course, we were right there with them when they wanted to go boogie boarding (3 boards available at the house). The house was well stocked with dishes, glasses and pots. Tammy gave us recommendations on where to grocery shop and even a nice restaurant down the road. If I had a question, she was very responsive and answered quickly. The hot tub was an added bonus which we all enjoyed at night. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. We certainly hope to be able to visit again. Thank you!

The property is beautiful… there is a view from every window and balcony. You can see the ocean and the bay… unique for Galveston Island. There is a pond directly outside and with the fountain, which kept mosquitos away. The kitchen is good for entertaining a family, and there is a formal and outdoor dining area. I would suggest bringing a bed pillow, high quality pan, and extra roll of paper towels. Alex was nice and responsive. The resort is family oriented and the quiet was well worth the 20 minute drive. We will stay with this host again!

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage! The house is perfect for a family beach trip and Antonio was an excellent host - great communication with all the details needed up front. The ADA beach access was very close and easier to navigate with a wagon than others we’ve used. The place has comfy furnishings and we felt right at home! Specifically, the sofa, beds and linens nice and blackout curtains. We found everything we needed at the cottage: Everything needed for the resort pools and beach (adult and kid beach towels, sand toys, beach chairs, wagon, outdoor shower, etc.). Kitchen: a variety of skillets, pots, and pans, baking sheets, cooking utensils, cups, nice dual coffee machine for k-cup or a whole drip pot. Bathrooms: tidy and stocked with towels, travel toiletries, makeup removal wash cloths Bonus: toys and books for kids, TVs (bunk room, living room, downstairs patio), first aid kit, washer/dryer and deck/rocking chairs to watch the herons and turtles in the lagoon!

This was a wonderful location. Easily walkable to the beach and easy to find. Had kids with us and didn’t need to bring anything as blankets, toys and beach necessities were supplied in the house. Devon was very responsive when I had questions and checking in with us. Thank you so much for having us.

Staci was SUPER helpful with our stay. She went above and beyond expectations and the place was great! I would highly recommend her for your next trip to Bolivar beach. We had a great little getaway. I stayed at this place in Galveston for about 2.5 months between January and March. The place was clean, safe, comfortable, and within walking distance of the ocean. We had some issues with both the washing machine and the fridge, but Seun was quick to respond and get them fixed. I had no serious issues with the property whatsoever, it was exactly as described. The neighborhood overall was quiet in the earlier winter months but got very loud and busy during Mardi Gras and spring break. Almost everything that I needed was within walking distance, I rarely had to use my car for anything. There are plenty of restaurants, bars, and grocery stores all within a 10-30 minute walk. The island is very small, and everything that I needed was practically right next to me. Overall if you are looking to stay in Galveston for any length of time, then this place is perfect. Just remember, the city can get very busy during certain events like the ones I mentioned, so definitely be prepared for that.

My family & I stayed here to celebrate our vow renewal. The Cardinal Cottage is absolutely so beautiful and peaceful and homey feel! Mallory and Melina are such amazing host and really went above and beyond to make us feel special! Our kiddos loved the upstairs loft area! The front porch is so beautiful as well! This place is 10 out of 10!!! I would book this home again in a heartbeat! Also so close by the shopping mall and so many restaurants!

We could not have asked for a better place to stay. Speakeasy is beautiful and on a quiet street close to all the best of Galveston.

The home is very comfortable. We didn’t get to spend much time in it because we were traveling for a baseball tournament, but I would definately stay there again. Linda made sure we had a working laundry set, which was essential to us. Very quiet, laid back. Nice to find basic needs like detergent, coffee, edulcorant, spices, oil, etc… My son’s team won the tournament! Thank you Linda!

The stay was AMAZING, so peaceful and the place was just as described if not better! It is the perfect little get away and what people say about the fishing IS TRUE! Honestly one of the best experiences by far I hope to return again very soon! Highly recommend!

My family and I stayed at Helene & Charlie's place for a mini Summer getaway, and I can't express how perfect it was! The house is just as advertised. It was extremely clean and we absolutely loved the location! I really appreciated the detailed manual as well. They leave plenty of information about restaurants, attractions, and anything else you can think of. The yard and patio were very spacious and relaxing, and our kids were ecstatic about the amount of new games they got to try. SO many card, board, and yard games! The pass to Porretto Beach was just the icing on the cake. We had the best time! Helene & Charlie were extremely professional, accommodating, pleasant, and attentive to our needs the entire stay. (Even though we didn't need anything because their house is very well stocked). Their communication is excellent, their home is immaculate, and you can tell that they truly care about your experience! I would highly recommend their home to anyone looking to stay in Galveston!

It was nice. It was clean and cute and next to the boardwalk where everything is.

This place is even more beautiful in person than the photos show in the listing! House was very clean, check in was easy, Katie was very responsive before and during our stay. We were in town for a wedding, and wanted a nice place to relax. The location is great, only 5-10 mins to great restaurants and the boardwalk with so much to do with your family young and old. We even had a night out downtown in Houston, which was further but not a bad drive.

This was a great place to spend time and relax at the beach. Awesome for families with accommodations for all ages with lots of space!!! Beach was 5 min walk…you can see the ocean from the balcony. Neysa & Billy have left good tips on restaurants to eat and places for essentials you might need. They were always responsive to our questions….a BIG shout out to them for helping with our mistake of booking wrong dates…Neysa & Billy quickly responded and contacted Airbnb to refund our money with no extra fees and rebook for right dates…above and beyond!!!! Book this place for a fun vacation at Crystal Beach!!!

The pineapple house was super cute, just the right size, comfy and had easy walking distance to the beach, fun activities and restaurants! We really appreciated the wagon and beach supplies, getting to play chess and the easy pace of it all! Thank you so much!

We loved the home. Very good location near the beach, in a quiet neighborhood, clean and well managed home. Great for a large family given the number of rooms and beds.

Jo was a great and responsive host! We I stayed for my birthday and it was a great setup and my favorite part of how close it was to the beach!
