The house was very nice and we highly recommend it. It was very close to the swimming pool and several shops. It was also very easy to communicate with Ransika and her father. We overall had a wonderful time at this house.

From the super cozy seating areas designed for ultimate relaxation to the countless books and cinema room filled with fascinating memorabilia, every corner of this house offers something to enjoy. The location is a dream – surrounded by lush trees, facing a serene lagoon, and complete with a private pool. The peaceful setting was the perfect backdrop for a much-needed disconnect. What truly made the experience exceptional were the hosts. They went above and beyond, ensuring every request was met without hesitation. Their warmth, friendliness, and the incredible food they prepared daily made us feel so welcome and cared for. The entire stay was breathtaking, from the scenery to the overall ambiance. We had a great stay, the villa is even nicer than the photo’s. We had all we needed to prepare meals and ate them outside on the terrace beside the pool. We spent a lot of time just chilling by the pool and it was great to be able to cool down and take a dip. Air con was essential and much appreciated in the bedrooms. We had good communication with the host who was responsive and accommodating to our needs and queries. There’s a great local restaurant 5 minutes away and a little shop that sells essentials like eggs and all sorts. The neighbourhood is safe and the locals very friendly.

A very "cozy" apartment indeed: it suited our family of 3 adults perfectly. Amazing views & ambience. The apartment is located in a very central part of Colombo with easy access to many eateries, hotels & shopping outlets. There is a supermarket directly opposite the apartment building, which was extremely convenient. The apartment building had excellent security staff, who were so very kind & obliging, a BIG THANK YOU to them for helping us with all our luggage & shopping bags at varied intervals & also helping us safely navigate the many cabbies we travelled with.😀 The owner of the apartment was flexible with check-in & check-out times which was so helpful. He even met us at the apartment when we checked in way early in the morning. Disappointingly the wifi in the apartment was very unreliable. All other appliances including the washing machine & hot water system worked fine though, no problems. A fantastic holiday stay all in all! 🌸

Superbe maison sur la plage, très belle décoration, on s’endort avec le bruit des vagues. Une chambre fraîche en bas accessible par l’extérieur, une en haut avec AC et une autre rafraîchie par les alizés avec vue sur l’océan et les bateaux de pêcheurs le matin. La douche extérieure est géniale, les lits sont confortables, les terrasses agréables, à quelques mètres de l’eau et des petites bassines pour se faire arroser. Pour une vraie baignade il suffit de marcher un petit kilomètre sur la gauche juste en face du cimetière. Coin tranquille et propre conseillé par Nimanthi. C’est elle qui vous accueille avec toute sa famille. Ils sont tous super sympathiques et toujours prêts à rendre service. Les repas faits maison et petits déjeuners sont délicieux, vous pouvez même demander un thé et des biscuits dans l’après-midi au bord de la piscine. Les chiens et chat sont marrants et il y a deux paons qui se promènent dans le jardin et sur la plage. Séjour extra pour terminer les vacances.

Stayed at Sithila’s for one night and the place was great! It’s quiet and private and pretty much matches the description. However, I was unable to reach the number provided on this app, I had to Google Honey way apartments and call the number on there to check in. But nevertheless, they were very welcoming and accommodating with the check-in/check-out times. I would book a stay again. Highly recommended!

- • There’s the single A/C in the house in the bedroom. There’s neither ceiling fan nor a/c in the kitchen( • The house hasn't been cleaned well before check-in + • Spacious villa, plenty of rooms, couches and beds • The host, Mr. Gayan, fixed broken a/c extremely quickly! He recharged the internet few times, as well! • Really wonderful furniture, smart TV, automatic gate. All necessary amenities in the kitchen! • Really friendly Gayan's father-in-law, Mr. Dissanayake, who let us come in. And he shared with us some local food several times. And even gave us a lift to the airport for free! I'd highly recommend to rent this villa. It's absolutely cozy, comfortable and unforgettable experience!

Nylander was a great place to stay on our first night in Sri Lanka. The residents of the cooperative made us feel very welcome and told us about their life together. In a nutshell, the whole layout of the house was beyond expectations and matched Australian standards. Everything was pristinely clean and the kitchen was fully equipped and even included an air fryer. Though we didn't cook during our six-week stay, as our friends and family supplied our meals, we appreciate the amenities. The beautiful garden and the peaceful and secure neighbourhood, made us feel safe as if we were in our own home. The owner's father who lived nearby was very helpful and approachable. Every little detail has been addressed and even the universal plugs and switchboard were thoughtfully provided for our own appliances. Another major attraction and a favourite was the washing and drying space provided on the rooftop, which gave us a good view of the surrounding area and the wildlife. Can be fully recommended to anyone who values a clean, peaceful and spacious home while travelling.

Nelson’s place is great. Close to the main road and a short tuk tuk to the beach or other places on the coast. Lovely house overlooking coconut plantation. Very tidy, great beds, lots of amenities. Would def recommend. Thanks for looking after us Nelson!
