Lovely place to stay at & the location was great to explore Knysna.

Maria made us feel right at home. The place is incredible, and the furniture is equally impressive. We mostly followed the recommendations they gave us. The house is situated in a very safe area, just a 5-minute walk from a restaurant and a coffee shop. The beach is just a 10-minute walk away. It’s the perfect place to stay with a baby. We used the barbecue and beach chairs. Knysna is an ideal break on the Garden Route. We would have stayed longer if we could have!

Knysna is such a lovely place, with Thesen’s Island being my favourite area. Location is great, and is extremely safe as it is a gated community. The house is beautifully kept, spacious, and extremely well equipped with everything you could possibly need. The furniture, décor and general quality of the house is great (especially the lovely main bed!). Faith is such a lovely lady - full of energy and charm. She is incredibly helpful, responsive, and is such a delight. She makes you feel right at home from the moment you arrive, and gives an amazing tour of the house (and some great recommendations of places to go on the island, as well as in the surrounding areas). It was such an amazing stay, would 100% recommend, and would definitely book again!

We had a fantastic stay at Cecile’s house. It was just like the pictures, beautiful location and Cecile was so helpful. The welcome package she left us was lovely too

Our principle contact was Jonathan who couldn’t have done more for us, a superb host who lives nearby. The property is well equipped throughout and located in a safe residential area just 200m from the estuary. We spent 24 wonderful days there. One point is that internal access to the upstairs is by a rather narrow spiral staircase which might not suit all ie elderly but for others ie children a point of excitement. I would have no hesitation in highly recommending both the property and hosts as a wonderful home to relax and unwind in. We’ve only found one other to match!

We had a wonderful stay at Gantry House. The location was beautiful and convenient, the house was spotless, the amenities were excellent and Liddi was communicative and efficient. We’d love to stay again.

Loved the house and its situation. Beautifully presented. The biometrics required was a hassle but good to know how safe it is. Very good at responding to questions. Loved the kayaking- really didn’t want to leave. A great rental, thank you!

Beautiful, spacious house in stunning and peaceful surroundings. The deck area was superb and our favourite bit of the house. The grounds around the property were fantastic, with access to the lagoon for kitesurfing and swimming, as well as tennis and a gym. The neighbours were super friendly, with a real community and safe feel to the complex. This was the perfect spot for us as a group for a relaxed and sporting week and we would love to come back! Ingrid was a great host, with lots of helpful suggestions and recommendations. We were welcomed and checked out by the cleaners who were incredibly nice and helpful.

Amazing stay with amazing views, In the middle of knysna waterfront so, everything is within walking distance. Perfect place to stay 👌🏻

We loved our stay with Jenny on Thesen Island. The place was exactly like the photos, location was great and Jenny was really responsive. The island felt very safe and you could walk to restaurants, bars, cafes and shops in less than 5 minutes. We loved exploring the island on the kayaks. Would definitely recommend. Thank you! 😊

Communication with the host was very easy and the check in procedure was explained in detail prior to our arrival along with numerous other relevant bits of information and suggestions for local amenities. The property was clean and as described and as per the photographs which we appreciated. Great location near to the centre of Knysna but a short and cheap taxi ride is suggested in the evening so we had no issues getting around. I would gladly recommend Carla's place and would stay again on a return trip.

What an amazing little place! We loved everything about our stay, apart from our visit being too short. "Room With a View" definitely lived up to its name, absolutely beautiful views. It was spotlessly clean, very comfortable with absolutely EVERYTHING you could possibly need. John, was so warm and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. We loved our stay and getting to see how beautiful Knysna is. Thank you so much to you all, we will most definitely be back and hopefully for much longer! x

Only stayed one night, but wish we could've stayed longer. It really is a lovely place, perfect for when you just need to unwind from daily life. Highly recommend this place, definitely worth the price. Thank you so much to the host for being flexible and accommodating.

La plage, des restaurants sont à 10 minutes à pied. un site et un appartement à recommander

We had a wonderful stay with Mary and Clive! It was a delight having them go above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. From a spacious and well-equipped place to the convenient location with nearby restaurants and bars, it was the perfect spot to relax and explore. We would most definitely recommend staying here and we look forward to many more fantastic visits in the future!

A Truly Magical Escape – Frog Mountain Stole Our Hearts Wow, some places truly touch your soul, and Frog Mountain is one of them. You can feel the love, care, and passion that Gabriela has poured into creating this magical retreat. Our stay was nothing short of incredible. From the joy of walking up to the labyrinth and witnessing a breathtaking sunset to the pure exhilaration of squealing down the foofy slide—every moment felt special. We loved hiking to the waterfall and rock pools, immersing ourselves in nature’s beauty. Our cozy rondavel felt like a warm hug after each day of adventure. The charm of Frog Mountain extends beyond the landscapes—it’s in the horses grazing peacefully, the cows wandering the fields, and the symphony of beautiful birdsong each morning. Swimming in the river was a refreshing delight, and every corner of this place felt like a gift to the soul. We are deeply grateful

A beautiful apartment with everything you need for a perfect stay. “Awesome Frame” truly lives up to its name! The place is stylish, comfortable, and had all the essentials we needed. This bungalow transported us to our childhood holidays. As a family with 2 kids, we were so comfy and just loved this spot. Comfortable bedrooms and bathrooms. Outdoor taps to wash off all the sand. Cute kitchen with everything you need, and a cozy lounge for card games. Lovely deck with bright red chairs that we assume resemble the colour of the Loerie's wings, that fly past everyday. Quick and easy to walk to the beach and the kids loved riding their bikes safely to the shop for ice creams. Endless activities, walking, biking, fishing, hiking, swimming, paddling. Honestly PARADISE on earth. The lagoon is beautiful but we loved the walk over to the sea against that huge mountain where the otter trail ends. The turquoise blue ocean was incredible. We cannot wait to come back to our new favourite place!
