Place was as described. Check in was easy. Sherry gave some great recommendations for food in the area. This was for a guys golf and river rafting trip and was a good place for us.

This place has it all - pool, hot tub, swing set, game/work room, stocked kitchen, wet bar and indoor/outdoor dining area. We immensely enjoyed the outdoor activities on-site and it was located impressively close to the New River Gorge and all the activities that come along with that. Walking distance to downtown. Bed was super comfortable and shower water pressure was amazing! We would stay here again. Thank you to our hosts for making our stay memorable.

Absolutely amazing Airbnb, wish we could give it more than 5 stars! Not only is it an incredible stay in an actual airplane hanger, but Ashley and her husband have included every amenity you can think. From the indoor fireplace, tvs, and stellar decorations, to the outdoor pool, hot tub, grill, and fire pit, you’ll never be short of things to do. We loved watching planes come and go on the private airstrip, we can’t wait to come back and book a flight on the biplane! Highly, highly, highly recommend checking this place out for yourselves !

First impressions: clean and well kept. Thanksgiving with family worked out well thanks to the tidy house with plenty of kitchen stuff to make our meals. Central heat kept us warm and the working fireplace was great to hang out around. We didn't go out and about due to snow. There is only one bathroom but we made it work for us.

Absolutely stunning place, the Mountain View was breathtaking! Wanted a peaceful environment with a homey feel and this Airbnb was perfect for it. Would definitely like to come back!

We all had a great time. We loved the pool and it was great to have after hiking and on the afternoon it rained. The house was a great size for all nine of us! We loved it!

We enjoyed our stay at Ashwood. We chose this spot as a halfway point on our way to a family reunion. So glad we did. This is a beautiful, peaceful area. I can only imagine how much more beautiful it is in late spring or in the fall.

We adored this beautiful private home. It was comfortable and clean, and we had everything we could possibly need! It’s so cool- decorated with an extensive library and gorgeous antique furniture. Valorie and her family were very kind, helpful, considerate and welcoming. We would love to come back in the future!

We loved our stay here! The hosts are very kind, hospitable, and proactive – we came in late and Dennis was there to welcome us and get us acclimated. The house is beautifully decorated (we loved the plants!) and thoughtfully designed to make our stay feel homey and comfortable. We would love to come again – this home + Charleston itself are definitely a hidden gem!

We had a great time bringing our dogs to April's place on our trip to Lewisburg. She was very helpful and responsive leading up to and during our stay. I would absolutely recommend her place to future friends/guests!

My husband and I had a quick one night stay here with our two kids. The host was very friendly and helpful, and the house looked like the pictures. Our pack and play fit well in one of the rooms with us. Being an older house, I expected it to be a bit creaky. I was happy with how little noise the floors made, but the doors were a little noisy to open and shut. The kitchen was clean and there were some basics like water bottles and snack bars. The host didn’t skimp on things like cheap pillows or sheets, they felt comfortable and new. We would definitely stay here again if passing through!

We loved our stay at Memaws House. Right from the outset, we felt safe, secure and right at home in this quiet peaceful setting. It was easy to get to all the services and attractions in the area being so close to the interstate. We cooked, did our laundry, watched Netflix and had a great nights sleep, absolute bliss when you be been on the road all day. We were also impressed with the standard of cleanliness especially the bathroom which was absolutely spotless. Thanks for a wonderful stay a little slice of rural life in West Virginia which will live long in the memory.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cabin! It looks exactly like the photos,cozy, peaceful, and spacious, with plenty of room to relax and feel secure. I was there with my kids, and we all had an amazing time. The trails around the cabin, the fire pit and the hot tub were definitely a highlight! Aleksandar was a fantastic host, he provided clear instructions and was very responsive whenever we had questions. We’re already planning to come back in the fall!

This was our second time staying here and I would highly recommend! It is a beautifully done historic home in a wonderfully peaceful location. Pet friendly which is a huge priority for us. The views and property are amazing and Mary is a wonderful host....quick response, detailed instructions and very kind & gracious.

Place looked just like the pictures. Perfect for a one night stay. We were driving and it was the perfect place to stop and rest overnight. Local restaurants had great food and drinks! Airbnb was very clean and had plenty of towels and utensils, pots, etc for cooking!

We had a wonderful stay. It was a great location for exploring New River Gorge NP. The house was comfortable and clean. Robert was a super responsive host, and very friendly. There were lots of little extras in the house that were very appreciated. We would definitely stay there again.

Another great stay at The Nest. We have been back to this location several times in the last several years. It is extremely close to our family that we can visit them every time we go down! We also are close to the town of Gap Mills and Union in which we visit each time. I can not express enough how amazing The Nest is and how friendly Thomas is when we plan our trips! 10/10 would recommend and 1000% will be staying here again and for the foreseeable future for our trips down!

We traveled to the area to explore New River Gorge. Easy access to the park. Traveled with my elderly parents and the accessibility features were perfect. Easy to get them in and out with their walkers. Relaxing space and quiet street. It was perfect for us! My Dad mentioned they were the most responsive hosts we have ever had at an airbnb.

Amazing! Will stay again next year for a festival!

Good deal for what you pay with ample space for guests and cozy! We came to book this house as we had planned to ski at Snowshoe. The drive was fairly easy from the house and was approx 45 minutes from the mountain. After a long day on the slopes it was great to come back to a warm house that was comfortable and had all the needed necessities to provide some great R&R! The house was well stocked with towels as well as plenty of plush blankets for those that like to cozy up! Kitchen was stocked with Tupperware, dishes, crockpot and utensils for some great home cooked meals. There was a snowstorm before we arrived so check in was a little cumbersome after a long day of driving but Olivia was extremely responsive, polite and resolved the concern as fast as she could. She handled it with poise and was an extremely wonderful host.

The place was quaint and just like the photos. A private spot we enjoyed staying at. Would recommend as a great place to stay if in the area.

This was the perfect weekend getaway! The house is beautiful - the charm of an older house with all the modern amenities. The house was spotlessly clean, beds comfy, and kitchen well stocked. The views from the house were stunning 360 degrees around. I can’t imagine a more beautiful setting. Hosts were friendly and helpful. We plan to come back next year!

My family and I had a very pleasant stay. The host was wonderful and responsive. The house is very clean and had great internet. We appreciated all the attention to details including stocked kitchen, hand soap in bathrooms, protective covers on mattress, outdoor furniture with cushions, and a stocked coffee area. We would stay again.

Our time at Rhonda's Retreat felt like dropping in for a stay at a relative's property. So thankful for such wonderful hosts! This is what Airbnb is all about. Great neighborhood, and the best little coffee house (which also features ebike rentals) is one block to the west. I simply cannot say thank you enough for opening up your home to us 🙏 😃 ❤️
