Here in Gazipur a table can be covered in dust within an hour of cleaning it. If you encounter this simply call the host and it will be resolved immediately. The building itself is new, less than 6 years old I would guess. The apartment is big. The bed is a common mattress sold in Bangladesh. If you want it softer a cheap piece of foam is what I use. I also sleep at friend's house nearby I keep it there, just in case. A short walk to Joydepur Rd will reveal plenty of shops and restaurants. An evening rickshaw ride through the countryside of Chapulia is one of my favorite things to do. I often leave the rickshaw to walk on less traveled roads. The neighbors are friendly. There are several children that are always curious but they are no bother.
