Great stay at Hunter's cottage for myself, husband & our dog. Five pit trail right on our doorstep, so lots of walking & accessible right from the back gate. We ventured out to Hardwick Hall which had lovely views & tried the local chippy - be warned that when they say large portion of chips they mean large! We had everything we needed for our 3 night stay & the hot tub was lovely! Wouldn't hesitate to recommend or revisit ourselves.

We stayed in the main farm house in a group of 6. The house was beautiful, spacious and comfortable in every room. The garden was large with a hot tub, outdoor seating and sand pit for the kids. Loved the fact you can feed the goats, there was a full guide to recommended places nearby for days out and places to see or visit. The host was really lovely and available to help whenever we needed. We would definitely love to come back here and see more of the surrounding areas and especially chatsworth house and gardens. Highly recommend for anyone wishing to have a chilled, peaceful holiday and for people wanting to get out and see the beautiful local towns, history and days out with the kids. Thanks for a fantastic stay!

Excellent accommodation with quality furnishings and facilities. The kids adored feeding the animals and collecting the eggs. Farmer Vic did a great job and made sure all the kids got an egg for breakfast. Lovely hot tub and great playground.

We have just returned from a weekend at Elliott House and the dairy for my dad's 60th birthday. We all had the best time! Both houses were beautiful and clean on arrival, added bonus that the gardens joined together meaning we didn't feel like we were separated. The kitchen in Elliott House was superb and fully kitted with everything we needed to make a Christmas dinner for 14 people. Rachel responded quickly to any questions I had and the gentleman that does the ground maintenance was super friendly and helpful in finding a good walk for our cocker spaniel. The only 1 small negative we had was "the secure dog walking area" being a lot smaller than we had originally thought it would be. That a side we an amazing stay and would definitely look at coming back again. Thankyou from the Smith family 😊

A really beautiful place with incredible views. Remote enough to be in the countryside but with access to local towns. The cinema room is also better than expected!

Great stay for a family get together, spotlessly clean and well equipped. Kids loved the playground, football pitch and hot tub. Feeding the animals and collecting eggs with farmer Vic was a real highlight.

Two of us had a cosy stay in the annexe with our doggy. It was peaceful and relaxing and the hot tub under the stars was lovely. Would also highly recommend a massage from Mandy.

The perfect stay! We had a fab time in Amber Lodge and it was kitted out with everything you’d need - the kitchen was super well equipped. The hot tub was a huge bonus and lovely place to chill out in the evenings. The beds were all really comfortable & everything was spotless when we arrived. Farmer Vic was lovely & helped us out when we arrived. Plenty of parking & easy to get to. We had SO much fun meeting all the animals (even as a group of eight 25 year olds) and thought the lodge was a perfect base to visit Bakewell and the surrounding areas! Can’t fault anything and would highly recommend this place.

Amazing cottage, we got exactly what we paid for. Laura is an amazing host! she answered all my queries beforehand and was always replying whenever I needed amything. She also helped sort out the hot tub for us which was super helpful as it was already there when we arrived. Would definitely go again!

Lovely apartment in a beautiful setting, with great amenities for a small village. Ideal for our walking holiday with our dog in the Peaks. The owners responded well and quickly to all out enquiries. Even the staff in the tearoom next door were keen to help; we will definitely be returning, and can recommend the walnut & stilton scones there!

We loved our stay there, so calm and beautiful. The hosts are super friendly and helpful, left us a pitcher of milk in the fridge for teas and lovely Nespresso coffee pods - highly recommend the stay there. The cottage was so charming and sweet, with a gorgeous little kitchen. Our dog made a mess, but the hosts just took it in their stride…

Our Stay at the miners Cottage was a pleasure. The location was perfect for me and my Son we were visiting family over the Christmas Holidays. The home was very cozy and clean, and Maxine was available via text if we had any questions, which we didn’t as everything was perfect. I would highly recommended this accommodation, if you are looking to stay in the area.

The property was in a great location, easy to walk to town, the area is gorgeous , right near the castle. Dimitri was a great host, communicative, and he was really accommodating. The home was spacious, well decorated, spotlessly clean. The beds were comfy, we all slept very well. I agree with the other comments that it's a little tired and there are some things that could do with a fix (like the fridge door). But I think they've priced it accordingly so it's 5 stars from me, I would definitely stay again.

Accommodation was lovely , clean tidy had everything you needed . Bacon bread milk and orange juice bought in for us as we got there 👍🏻 Surroundings were lovely and peaceful, did a bit of fishing , was the perfect New Year’s Eve stay and would definitely book again Thankyou Sharon x

Lovely stay for a long weekend in the peak districk! Perfect for a small group of couple looking to get away. Great location close to lots of nice walks. The home was lovely, warm and welcoming. A lovely place and we’ll definitely be coming back! Thank you x

This was a great location right on the edge of Chatsworth park with a gate out into the park so that we had direct access for walking. The cottage was comfortable and warm and an imaginative conversion. We had an extremely disappointing dinner at the Devonshire Arms which I suggest should come off your list of recommended pubs. However, we had an excellent lunch at Charlie's restaurant in the village. If you want to go to the Cavendish Hotel for dinner I recommend booking in advance as we couldn't get a table.

I Highly recommend this what a lovely cottage. It felt like home from home. Martha is Kind courteous, host. we will be be back sometime in the future.

Sally was extremely helpful and the apartment was very pleasant. We were about a 10 minute walk from the city centre, where there is lots of great restaurants! We were also within walking distance of the motorpoint arena, which was really handy as the purpose of our stay was to see a show. Free parking and easy to find when following Sally's helpful instructions. We hope to come back again in the near future!

Comfortable property with interesting period style furnishings. Judy was very easy to communicate with and gave us a lovely welcome. We were able to walk to Bolsover with its fascinating castle. A good place to stay whilst we attended a family wedding.

We stayed at Liz's while our house was having some work done on it. From the start, communication was excellent and we had clear instructions on how to get in. The place was just what we were after for a family of 4 - it had everything we needed. The price was very reasonable, compared to similar accommodation in the area. We live in the village, so already knew what an amazing place it is to visit!

Svårt att tänka sig bättre läge för att utforska de mysigaste stadsdelarna med dess historia, shopping och restauranger! Vi unnade oss middag på Cosy Club och Vida by Lorentes som verkligen var fantastiska! Närheten till matbutiker och frukostbröd var också mycket uppskattad. Boendet är väldigt bekvämt och lugnt, i alla fall efter klockan 22 då restaurangen på innergården stängt. Innan dess är det ganska högljudd musik onsdag till lördag men det var inga problem för oss. Till och med lite trevligt med bra musik. 😊 Bra med dubbla badrum! Vi uppskattade att det fanns förbrukningsvaror som toalettpapper, diskmaskinstabletter, te, tvål och även Netflix. Parkering i området är väldigt dyr men det finns ett bra (men trångt) parkeringshus ett kvarter bort. Värden var mycket trevlig och hjälpsam och svarade snabbt på frågor. Vi fick bra tips om området. Värden och boendet rekommenderas varmt för en familj som vill utforska Nottingham till fots!

We had a fabulous stay. Ruth made everything effortless, even offered us early check in and a later check out which we all really appreciated A beautiful place to stay, the house was immaculate. We felt so relaxed and at home as soon as we arrived. We all really enjoyed every minute. We will be back ! Thank you

We had a lovely short break. There was plenty of room for three of us and a small dog and everything was there that we needed. Just note if you plan to do any cooking, you need to take everything as there was only salt. The Lodge is located near to many interesting places and we stayed local.
