Staying at Judi’s Lazy J Ranch was wonderful! Our family of 6 reserved Judi’s 3 rooms. The Moose room = king size bed and a private bathroom. Jamie’s room = queen bed. The Bear room = double bed. Jamie’s & The Bear room share a bathroom. The bathrooms had all the typical amenities I wanted. Judi gave us such a warm welcome (exactly what I needed after getting some devastating news). She introduced us to her dogs, sheep, and chickens. Her dogs are well trained! We felt safe and cared for. Judi’s food is delicious! Even my picky eaters loved her cooking. I stayed in the Moose room. I need to figure out what mattress topper she uses because for the first time in a long time, my back didn’t hurt when I got up. I had such a great sleep! Judi suggested the perfect restaurant for our dinner. Her place truly feels like going to grandmas house - she even let my kiddo’s “help” with her chores. They learned how to help make plum jam! So fun! We will stay at Judi’s place again.

Devin was a great host. He informed us that we we're only his second renters and gave clear instructions on how to use everything in the place. He walked us around the property and was very informative on things he knew to help make it a great stay.

I recommend it. It’s a ways away from most anything (10 mins down gravel roads) but certainly the surroundings were beautiful. Grandma enjoyed gazing at stars! The patio/pool area was especially nice and they had a fire in the fire pit waiting for us! (They knew we were coming and that we wanted to toast marshmallows). I really appreciated their thoughtfulness in that regard. The guesthouse is nothing fancy and hasn’t been remodeled for a while (especially the very small kitchen). I really think that they ought to add more photos so renters know better what they are getting. I can see more “high maintenance” people being upset about their lack of knowledge about the properties lack of home updates, but for the price, I thought it was a good deal. On the whole, the guest house was cute and VERY clean, the game room was entertaining, the pool/patio/land was beautiful, and the hosts were wonderful.

We have stayed at so many airbnbs and this was by far the best because of the hosts!! The host went above and beyond for us and our 7 month old!! So affordable and very very clean!! If we are ever in Emmett we will be staying here again!

Dale and JessAnn were great hosts. We will definitely return come summer! The camper was heated and had lighting to bring to the commode. The beds and bedding was so comfortable. There was layers of handmade quilts and fluffy super soft blankets and a plethora of pillows. Dale helped us get settled, showing us the property which is perfect for family gatherings or even secluded getaways. The heater worked great! Shower got hot right away! The dry kitchen was stocked with a coffee pot and countertop convection oven. It even came with a large growler of fresh Idaho spring water. It tasted like our glacial water back home in Alaska. There are backyard animals on site -which we loved- Dale demonstrated goat milking with us in the morning. He provided coupons for local restaurants we chose the Barn House and it was a perfect Sunday morning breakfast (Trust Dale when he says get the 1/2 orders) We look forward to returning in the summer for the festivities though we’d come again in winter

What a special place! My husband and I really enjoyed our New Years Eve. The room and the entire main house and property were so beautiful and the hosts made us feel like part of the family. Absolutley loved the outdoor spa and the jetted tub in the room. We will definitely be back! Thank you so much!

We had a quick overnight stay for our anniversary and had the best time! We loved the animals and everyone was really friendly and helpful. The Scavenger was so cute and comfortable, and we just loved all the interesting touches just about everywhere. We spent the evening on the porch stargazing and I spent the morning on the porch reading. It was peaceful and just what we needed. We also received great local recommendations for dining. We would definitely stay again!
