This place was fantastic

I just returned from my stay at the Hummingbird Cottage, and it was fantastic. Our host, Nancy, was welcoming and provided thoughtful touches like local snacks. The cottage was clean and well-decorated, with comfortable beds and a fully equipped kitchen. It’s a great balance between being close to attractions and offering a quiet, relaxing atmosphere. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a getaway!!

The house was wonderful, so pretty, clean and cozy. Everything we could need was available and easy to find. The location was about a mile away from the main road in Shaver, maybe even closer, but the house felt quiet and private and was great for quiet strolls with or without the littles. The yard was flat, clean and well maintained, perfect for toddlers and sledding around or making snowmen. The host was lovely, and extra helpful especially since I was having issues from Airbnb accidentally double charging me. She reached out to them for me, and the matter was settled within hours.

Is a beautifull home and very spacious. Was out for work so had a big work truck was a able to park it no problem in front of the house. Felt like and is a very quite and safe neighborhood. Definatly would stay here again

Jamie fue muy atento, la cocina esta muy bien equipada. La estabamos pasando tan bien que decidimos quedarnos una noche mas y fue muy fácil gracias a jamie que nos respondió inmediatamente. He visitado varias cabañas en shaver lake y esta es de mis favoritas. Gracias! Definitivamente regresaremos.

This was a quiet and peaceful cottage stay near Sequoia National Park & Kings Canyon. The host was helpful and allowed my group to check in a little earlier than listed. Everything worked as expected and we had a nice stay.

The stay was great for two nights. The location was good, parking spots were enclosed so felt safe. The shared spaces were nice and the Koi fish were a cool touch. The restroom/bath is detached as listed but it's only a few feet away. Only tip I would give is to possibly add a automatic gate vs having to close it each time you come in and leave.

There was no snow on the ground so getting to the house was easy. I followed "Waze" which took me right there. The parking is ample. It was easy to get the key and open the slider. The heater worked wonderfully. If you want firewood bring it with you as they store only sells Pine for 9.00 a bundle. That burns fast. They also sell Duraflame logs which burn for hours and are a better deal. Its not far from China Peak so it was a nice trip for a ski day. Its close enough to the deli and the Shaver Lake Pizza to walk but I drove anyway. We rented ski equipment from Shaver Lake Sports which is really close too. There are ample pillows, blankets and towels. The wifi was strong and easy to get connected. The TV is self explanatory. The couch is comfortable, I fell asleep on it after a day's skiing. If we had time we would have walked around the neighborhood, which looked really cute. The shower had ample hot water and included shampoo and body wash. I'd go again!

David is the host with the most! Beautiful condo in the perfect location. Would definitely be my first choice for our next trip to China Peak!
