This place is an absolute gem! Tucked away in a quiet, private spot, it’s the perfect escape while still offering plenty to do. The house itself is gorgeous—beautifully decorated, super comfortable, and packed with every high-end amenity you could want. The outdoor setup is unbeatable. The marsh views, especially at sunrise, are breathtaking, and you can even hear the ocean from the screened porch. Getting on the water is a breeze with the well-designed access and sturdy dock down to the creek—perfect for launching the kayaks and canoes. If you're up for some activity, there’s even a basketball hoop in the driveway! Honestly, I wouldn’t change a thing about this place. It’s peaceful, fun, and absolutely stunning. If you’re looking for the perfect Pawleys Island getaway, this is it. Can’t wait to come back!

Nice home with good layout for extended family.

This place— I would recommend a thousand times over. Gail and Gerry are some of the sweetest hosts I’ve ever had the honor of meeting and they went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable, comfortable, and peaceful. The acute attention to detail, such as music playing when we entered for the first time, truly showed just how much these hosts take pride in the place they’ve set up as well as the care and love they show towards their guests. We will be back!

This is a really cool place! If you meet Kevin and his family they are really nice people and accommodated us with an alarm clock at request for work! It was clean, warm, and a beautiful area.

We loved our stay at By the Sea. Private ground floor efficiency with NO STAIRS! Absolutely beautiful view of marsh. Room is so cozy; it would be an excellent get away for 1 person too. Very comfortable bed. We liked how the shower area was split from toilet/sink bathroom. Used the coffee maker each morning. Enjoyed sitting out by the firepit watching all the beautiful sea birds...got some great photos, including sunrise. Walked to wonderful restaurant practically next door and also the Brewery down & xc street. The area is so peaceful & laid back. Gail & Gerard go above & beyond with extras.....ROBES(!), chocolates, and the BEST was use of the state park pass which we used at Huntington Beach SP each day. They are extremely quick to respond to questions and so helpful. Didn't get a chance to meet them in person but we appreciated the privacy. Absolutely want to stay there again!

If you're hunting for a spot that's basically a hop, skip, and a jump from everything fun, look no further! This place is not only super clean and spacious but also stocked with all the beach gear, bikes, and games you could ever want. Seriously, it’s like they thought of everything to make your stay a breeze. I can’t recommend it enough to my friends and family—it’s worth it to book this gem for your next getaway!

We just finished an excellent two month stay at Lacey’s with our two standard poodles. The fenced backyard was awesome for the dogs who loved the daily squirrel hunt. Everything in the home was as advertised, spotless and very comfortable and accessible. Lacey was very responsive. While we didn’t use the golf cart because of the dogs the home is only a 5 to 10 minute drive to multiple beach access points and within a 15 to 20 minute walk to Lowe’s and Food Lion grocery stores and a couple of excellent restaurants. We highly recommend Lacey’s home.

Originally, we had rented another property, but the driveway had just been redone and had to be sealed so very nice woman called me up and made arrangements for us to rent this property. Basically, we were doing preparation for a food show and the location was perfect for that with a great space in the kitchen, and everything that we needed. Very comfortable Location that if I were on vacation, I would definitely rent again. The location was also centrally located off of route 17 business. So many great places to eat locally and I would suggest wahoo‘s. Just a half an hour from the Myrtle Beach convention center. This worked perfectly. I hope that the next couple of trade shows that we do are as good as this Airbnb.

Carmen's home is wonderful. The apartment is spacious and immaculately clean and has everything you need to just open up your bags and settle in easily. The backyard with the pool and the dock are a dream. The location is very peaceful - and just a short drive away from anything you need. Carmen, her husband and father are incredible hosts, who make you feel at home. Would highly recommend!
