We totally loved the experience. Awesome to get away from city life and enjoy a true simple living (and everything that comes with it -- wood stove, outhouse, bringing and heating water for all your needs, etc.) Would love to enjoy it again and recommend to everyone who understands this style of vacation/recreation. Very nice cabin in a peaceful and quiet treed area. A small river on the property just steps away. The place and the area still offer a good deal of civilized life for those who do not want to disconnect completely: neighbouring properties are not that far away, there's relatively short drive to the highway, electric lighting and a socket in the kitchen). So it's a very good balance overall. Carine was a wonderful host. Unintrusive but always there for our questions/needs. Thank you so much, Carine!

Lyn and Peter were amazing hosts for our family of 4 (two adults plus two kids, ages 9&6.) Lyn greeted us at check-in, but gave us privacy after that, and was super quick to respond to texts on the rare occasion we had a question. The boathouse was as described with even more amenities than listed and more spacious and beautiful than the pictures could do justice. The place is immaculate with careful thought and detail into every little decoration and little touches (e.g. a basket in the bedroom with bug spray, package toothbrush, etc. for any forgotten items.) We felt completely at home in the boathouse and enjoyed the beautiful views from the upstairs deck and dock, where we spent the majority of our time. We all loved taking out the SUPs that were there for our use and it was a quick drive into town to visit Don’s Bakery (IYKYK), Splash Island, and the ski show on Tuesday night. Highly recommend the boathouse for your next Muskoka stay! Lyn’s hospitality is 10/10.

Esther is an amazing host, clear and friendly communication and personable and caring host. Her place is styled in a very beautiful way to create a peaceful and homey experience , very clean and fully equipped. I enjoyed my stay very much and indeed can’t wait to go back and experience this property in different seasons.

This was my third time there, and as suspected, Vince and Miranda's place never disappoints. Great little space with beautiful views and has all you would need for a weekend away. Will surely return.

Sarah's suite is a tranquil get away. Set in a wooded area and a short walk to Lake Huron and an easy drive to Sauble Beach and Wiarton, I highly recommend this suite. The suite is above a garage with a private outdoor seating area and the suite is equipped with many amenities to make for a good stay. Would definitely return!

Licinia was the perfect hostess. She was pleasant and friendly, making sure our needs were met. At the same time, she gave us our privacy. We thoroughly enjoyed eating the picnic lunch that we brought, sitting on the dock alongside the Nottawasaga River. - entertained by the geese and the ducks, as well as the various watercraft. The beach was just a short walk across the street in the opposite direction of the river. Although it was too windy to swim, the crashing of the waves was a wonderful sound to hear. The cabin was cute and cozy - all the space that we needed. We enjoyed using the gas bbq on site for dinner - there was even an outdoor cook sink and prep area. Our evening was topped off with a bonfire afterwards. We don’t live far from the Town of Wasaga Beach, but we thoroughly enjoyed our weekend getaway and will most definitely return. We look forward to seeing Licinia and her lovely family again.

Wonderful! My partner and I stayed at the Gingerbread cabin for 2 nights and loved it! The cabin is a masterpiece. Well built and nicely decorated. We appreciated the attention to detail and quality. The area and scenery was beautiful, the neighborhood was very quiet, animals were friendly. Anastasia was very kind and welcoming. Communication and check in were easy. We recommend the place and we'd love to come back! Thank you!

Peaceful, gorgeous & unique location. Enjoyed our sunset walk on the “ghost trail” and on surrounding country roads. Comfortable, cozy stay with everything we needed. Enjoyed meeting our canine hosts as well :)

Graham & Karina’s loft cabin is an absolute gem! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed into a warm, cozy, and impeccably clean space with a beautiful fire. The fireplace made it even more inviting, creating the perfect place to relax and unwind during the snowy long weekend. One of the highlights of our stay was taking the fun sleds down the hill by the harbour. This cabin is the perfect place to get away and just relax and have fun with loved ones! Graham & Karina are such welcoming and fantastic hosts, and their care for this beautiful space shines through. We would absolutely love to return and highly recommend this stay to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway!

It truly was a Greyt escape! Kara was a fantastic host who had given everything we needed (and more)! There were so many things that made us feel so welcomed and at home, from dog treats to snacks upon arrival, we felt very at home. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area. Polo (dog) also loved the space and open area to run around.

We only stayed for 2 nights but wish we could have stayed longer This is a beautiful cozy (not small!) place. The pictures are spot on and it has everything you need. We were still at the tail end of winter but the lake is a short walk away for those in the spring summer We enjoyed our brief stay here!

Windfall Cottage is a unique experience. The cottage is very cozy and tastefully decorated and we felt very comfortable and welcome. The beds are very comfortable, the kitchen perfectly equipped and it is like coming home. The access to the lake and the sun deck with two kayaks are another highlight. Carol and Jonathan are wonderful hosts! The contact was consistently very fast, very friendly and above all very personal. Our inquiry as to whether the cottage was suitable for a wheelchair user was not only answered comprehensively and with further information, but the necessary aids were also provided. Such courteous support is unique and impressive. Windfall Cottage, Carol and Jonathan will remain in our best memories and we can only warmly recommend this Airbnb. Our families experience at this beach flat was nothing short of amazing. The interior design is stunning, with every detail thoughtfully curated to create a cozy and inviting space. The cleanliness was impeccable, making the stay feel even more comfortable. The location is unbeatable—just a quick and easy walk to the beach, which made it convenient for daily strolls and sunset views. We had a great stay at Kazi’s place and there was plenty of space for the 17 of us! Each room having its own bathroom definitely made it easy for everyone to be comfortable. There were lots to do in the area and would highly recommend this place!

You will not regret staying here! I spent 6 weeks here while waiting to move into my own place and I really didn't want to leave. place was spotless, inside and out; it's everything described and more! Alex and his wife are lovely people, he responds almost immediately, very accommodating, and helpful! will definitely be staying here again whenever I visit ontario! The place was exactly as described. So cute, clean, and felt like home. They clearly put a lot of effort into maintaining the character while adding modern amenities. We had a perfect stay!

Beautiful location, with clear directions on how to find. Hosts were flexible and allowed me to check-in early, which I appreciated so much. It snowed while I was there, and they had the driveway and parking area all cleared. The place was clean & cozy - I would stay again!
