Just left Chania yesterday 19/09/24 , we stayed one week on Aggeliki’s apartment, We are very lucky to choose this place as it was the best area in Chania , the apartment was very clean with everything you need, close to best sandy beach there , close to old town & harbour, super markets, restaurants ….Very good beds. Everything spotless, Aggeliki the best host , very kind & helpful. We had a great time, nice weather, hope to go there again.

Stratos is a great host - he welcomed us with Christmas decorations and traditional cookies and wine! The apartment has beautiful seaview and its short walking distance to the old town

Absolut empfehlenswert!! Alles war sauber, die Unterkunft war grösser als erwartet. Wir wurden sehr nett empfangen mit einem Willkommensraki und Biscuits. Restaurants, Cafés und eine Bäckerei sind in der Nähe, der Strand ist in weniger als 5 Minuten zu Fuss erreichbar. Besonders gefallen hat uns, dass es Strandutensilien wie Sonnenschirm und Spielsachen für Kinder gibt, eine Kaffeemaschine mit feinem Kaffe und zwei Balkone. Die aufgehängten Bilder sind ausserordentlich schön und geben der Wohnung einen authentischen Stil. Vielen Dank!!

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen einwöchigen Aufenthalt Ende Oktober. Das Wetter hat mitgespielt. Eine Woche lang nur Sonnenschein und blauer Himmel. Das Appartement entspricht exakt der Beschreibung. Tolle Lage, gute Einrichtung und sehr netter Empfang beim Check in. Außerdem bekamen wir gute Tips für Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Alles in allem eine klare Weiterempfehlung! Wir würden wiederkommen.

Nice apartment, well located close to the beach and within walking distance to the old town. Some noise from the street, but not disturbing. Nice view from balcony.

We had a wonderful stay at Yulia's place. The place was nice and clean. The terrace was spacy and the facilities good. Yulia was very quick to respond when we had some questions. The madresses and pillows could be softer but that will always be a matter of taste. We were very satisfied and would recommend Yulia and her place.

Absolutely fabulous penthouse apartment with a magnificent terrace and wonderful views. Super beach literally just across the street and close to a range of local restaurants…… can’t recommend enough!!😀

L’appartement est très bien placé, tout peut se faire à pied. Il est spacieux, lumineux et calme. Jenifer est une hôte très réactive avec plein d’attentions pour nous, café, gâteaux et fruits nous attendaient à notre arrivée. Elle est de bons conseils pour les visites et les restaurants alentours. Je conseille vivement.

Sometimes it’s such a cliché to say “the photos did not do it justice “ but this is one of those rare occasions when it really does apply.. The Villa Tile is the perfect place for a couple or small family and has everything within a few metres.. the beach literally is on you back door step, next door is a beach bar with a pool which you are welcome to use. The hosts went above and beyond to make everything perfect for us during our stay, even undertaking some emergency sewing and pillow adjustments when we said that the pillows were a little too firm for our liking… We are already planning to come back in May 2025 and hope to use the Villa Tile again.

What an amazing place! Ioannis has thought about everything you could ever need and it is there!! Every thing was immaculate, beautiful white linen, beach towels, the best kitchen ever. Ioannis very thoughtfully had provided large bottles of water and fresh fruit in the fridge which I thought was wonderful. We had a problem on arrival which was sorted so quickly, thank you Ioannis! We have been to many Airb&bs and this was the best. So near the sea and fantastic restaurants, i miss the wonderful food! Thank you so much for our wonderful stay

Wir hatten wundervolle Tage bei Katerina und ihrem Mann. Die Wohnung ist perfekt auch für unsere kleine Familie gewesen. Küche voll ausgestattet und der Jacuzzi zum Entspannen nach dem Tag. Katerina und Dennis sind wunderbare Gastgeber, so freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben sogar tolles Essen und Salat aus dem Garten und Wein aus eigenem Anbau bekommen - man hat sich immer sehr willkommen gefühlt!! Auch bei Fragen hat Katerina immer schnell reagiert und konnte uns stets weiterhelfen! Wir würden die Unterkunft sehr empfehlen, auch mit kleinem Kind: es gibt einen super Spielplatz ganz nah und schöne, ruhige Strände!

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour chez Georgios. L'appartement est à deux pas de la plage, vous trouvez des restaurants et commerces dans la rue ou à 300m dans le village. Les chambres sont très spacieuses (plus grandes qu'il n'y paraît dans l'annonce). La terrasse est très agréable et le parking gratuit est juste a côté. Les serviettes de bain et de plage sont fournies. Nous avons trouvé que Kalyvès est bien situé pour visiter l'ouest de la Crète. Nous reviendrons !

It feels like home as soon as we arrived at Grigoris's place. We were welcomed by Christina (Grigoris mom, hope we got the name right). Christina was super friendly and helpful through our stay. She brought to us some home cooked Greek pastries and biscuits next day and we loved them. The house looks and feels better than the photos. Beautiful sea view in a quiet area. We felt so relaxpastIt has everything you need to enjoy your stay there. Great place for a family. Highly recommend and we will definitely come back. Lots of lovely memory. La maison de Manolis est superbe, tout correspond parfaitement aux photos. C’est un endroit paisible et dans lequel on veut rester longtemps. Manolis est également un hôte très réactif et très bien organisé. Je recommande très fortement !!

Lovely stay, in a lovely house with a wonderfully attentive and kind host. Really good position for touring Western Crete, a car is obviously a must but the drives to places are really spectacular ( most drives are just over the hour to the south and west coasts). We did stay in November which sees very quiet roads and deserted beaches - like most of the Greek Islands the shoulder months are the time to see them at their very best. We would love to come back in Spring.

Tämä kohde on todellinen aarre: terassi ja piha, avarat näkymät merelle ja erityisesti Nikoksen kädenjälki rinteen puutarhassa aina rantaan asti. Jos nautit omasta rauhasta ja luonnosta, tämä paikka on sinun. Kaikessa henkii kreeetalainen, paikallinen kulttuuri. Nikos ja hänen tyttärensä Eleni olivat hyvin avuliaita, jos heräsi jokin kysymys tai tarve. Läheistä kalaravintolaa pitää kalastajan perhe, nautimme kovasti hyvästä, tuoreesta kalaruoasta.

Sia is heel attent, bereikbaar en vriendelijk. We werden verwend met hapjes, raki en een ontbijtmand. Het uitzicht over de baai is prachtig. Te voet ben je snel aan het strand. Grootwarenhuizen in de buurt. Wel even klimmen voor je er bent, maar doe je met plezier voor het mooie uitzicht.

Argyri and her husband were the best hosts I've ever stayed with, and the apartment was absolutely flawless: excellent location, close to the old city, restaurants and the beach The apartment had absolutely all the facilities: there was nothing we needed and not exist in the home. Furnished modernly and with great taste, the apartment is bright and welcoming, with a large terrace where you can drink coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening. The hosts welcomed us with a cake, with fruits, wine and juices in the fridge, and upon departure they gave us local honey. Very friendly, they spent time with us and explained to us the best places to eat, what to visit around the city and in the city. it was everything I could have wished for and I can't wait to come back for a much longer period with my daughter. My boyfriend and I visited during Christmas time(2024). She had filled the apartment with Christmas lights and decorations, which after a long day of traveling, immediately put us in the holiday spirit. She was very easy to communicate with and after learning of my boyfriends love of pizza she provided us with a personalized list of the best pizzas around town. There was also a booklet in the apartment with a rundown of the city(history, restaurants, sightseeing, etc) which is helpful to anyone visiting from another country. Would definitely come back to Chania as well as this apartment! Thank you Katerina!

Chrisi ist eine hervorragende Gastgeberin! Sie war jederzeit hilfsbereit und immer gut gelaunt und freundlich . Die Wohnung ist perfekt für Ausflüge , aber auch perfekt zum Strand um die Ecke. Dazu ist alles vorhanden , was man zum Leben braucht und es gibt sogar eine kleine Flasche Raki im Kühlschrank zur Begrüßung. Wir werden wieder mal hierher kommen!! Brigitte und Peter

We stayed for a week at George & Alkis’ unit. My wife and I had a great time exploring Chania and Alkis was very helpful and responsive when we had questions. Will definitely stay again if we are back in Crete! Thank you.

Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen. Die kleine Wohnung ist sehr modern und wirklich schön. Die Lage ist ebenfalls sehr gut. Obwohl die Hauptstraße wenige Meter vom Grundstück entfernt ist, bekommt man diese garnicht mit. Der Blick aufs Meer ist unverbaut und der Balkon großartig. Auf dem Nachbargrundstück war eine riesige Schafherde, die uns sehr belustigt hat. Alles in allem ein wirklich schöner Aufenthalt.

We really enjoyed our stay! The appartment was even bigger than it seemed according to the pictures. Everything was clean and cosy! Although it was the end of the touristic season, we’ve enjoyed Rethymno and its surroundings. The only downside was the noice at night, so we couldn’t sleep with the windows open, but there was airco available.

Vielen Dank für den tollen Aufenthalt. Die Wohnung ist sehr sauber, gut renoviert, praktisch eingerichtet, nur 3 Minuten vom Strand entfernt, 20 Minuten an der Promenade bis zur Altstadt und trotz der Lage an einer viel befahrenen Straße recht ruhig. Auch das Parken des Mietwagen war recht unproblematisch. Kostenfreie Parkplätze sind in der Umgebung vorhanden. Der Balkon ist etwas schmal und nicht so gut zum draußen sitzen geeignet (zumal es draußen auch etwas laut ist). Alles in allem aber ein toller Aufenthalt.
