We stayed at Georgia's mansion during our honeymoon at the end of September. The place was large for two people, but we felt like royalty with all of the space :) The mansion is beautifully redone on the inside - it has modern amenities with a traditional aesthetic. The place had absolutely everything we needed in the kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms, and outside. The pool was wonderful! We spent our afternoons lounging after hot days in Chania and the surrounding areas, which offer lots of restaurants, attractions, and great shopping! The area was great as well - easy to get to, quiet, and with easy access to the main road that can take you east or west in no time :) We highly recommend a stay at this beautifully restored mansion, and we hope to be back ourselves someday!

Es war super schön hier. Wir wurden herzlich empfangen und die Kommunikation verlief reibungslos. Die Unterkunft ist wie auf den Bildern. Man ist ein bisschen am Berg oben, was super schön ist, da es dort viel ruhiger ist. In die Stadt und zum Strand kommt man super zu Fuß. Wir waren sehr zufrieden.

Wir hatten wundervolle Tage bei Katerina und ihrem Mann. Die Wohnung ist perfekt auch für unsere kleine Familie gewesen. Küche voll ausgestattet und der Jacuzzi zum Entspannen nach dem Tag. Katerina und Dennis sind wunderbare Gastgeber, so freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben sogar tolles Essen und Salat aus dem Garten und Wein aus eigenem Anbau bekommen - man hat sich immer sehr willkommen gefühlt!! Auch bei Fragen hat Katerina immer schnell reagiert und konnte uns stets weiterhelfen! Wir würden die Unterkunft sehr empfehlen, auch mit kleinem Kind: es gibt einen super Spielplatz ganz nah und schöne, ruhige Strände!

Charilaos was an amazing host! He greeted us at the villa and had left us a great stock of food and drinks, which was great for our large group! His house was done really really well, and perfectly suited us with our two babies. It would be great spot for any larger group with the number of bedrooms. The views were also fantastic! We ended up spending an evening by the pool talking and watching the sea. The whole place is beautiful and perfectly accommodating along with one of the best hosts you could ask for.

Teo war der beste Host, den ich jemals auf Airbnb hatte. Alles war super und bei Problemen war Teo sofort hilfsbereit und freundlich zur Stelle. Der Ausblick von der Terrasse war traumhaft und die Zimmeranordnung perfekt. Ich würde jedem die Unterkunft weiterempfehlen!

Excellent. The Monastery is the perfect example of contemporary architecture and interior design. The proportions and visibility lines appear to be expertly planned and cleverly designed to guarantee peace, privacy and comfort from the heat of the day. Even more important though, is how friendly the staff were. We were made to feel welcome from the very moment we parked the car, and the staff could not have been more helpful. In particular, Meggie and Georgia went out of their way to help us. All of the staff were great though. The food was excellent, and the views spectacular. This part of Crete is incredibly beautiful and given the friendliness and style of The Monastery, we will certainly return.

This Airbnb was a great spot for our stay in Chania! We had around a 15-20 minute walk to the Old Port, which had a wonderful selection of restaurants. (We highly recommend the Sailing Club.) There was also a good coffee shop around a 5-minute walk towards Old Port and a grocery store 5 minutes away (opposite direction of Old Port but still very close by). The hot tub was amazing as the weather was a bit chilly some days of our stay. The inside was just like the pictures, and our host replied very quickly to help resolve any problems we had. We walked to a beach that was 45 minutes from the Airbnb, but it was a nice area with beach chairs and tasty restaurants. We would warn younger guests to travel here during the earlier seasons as you will be cat-called a lot. Overall, our stay was fantastic!

Wij zijn 10 dagen verbleven in het appartement. Het is zeer vlak bij het oude centrum van Chania wat wel wat omgevingsgeluid opleverde, maar dat vonden wij niet storend. Ook het strand is op loopafstand. Om de paar dagen werd er schoongemaakt en werden handdoeken vervangen, dit was prettig. De jacuzzi is geweldig, er ontbreekt enkel een handleiding. Al met al een mooi appartement op een uitstekende locatie met voldoende privacy. We zouden het aan iedereen aanbevelen.

Bel appartement, bien équipé, proche de Chania en voiture. Stationnement facile dans la rue qui est très calme. L'appartement est très spacieux, il peut convenir à 2 familles. L'accueil de notre hôte est parfait. Le sejour autour de Chania est tres agreable. Je recommande !

L’appartamento di Savoula si trova in pieno centro, e grazie alle indicazioni precise dell’host è stato semplice trovarlo. La cucina è ben equipaggiata, con dell’olio, sale e zucchero a disposizione (sempre ben accetti). La camera da letto ampia e il bagno funzionale. Il grande più la terrazza col divano e il tavolo, e il locale lavanderia a disposizione. Sono stata davvero bene e consiglio questo appartamento senza dubbio.

It feels like home as soon as we arrived at Grigoris's place. We were welcomed by Christina (Grigoris mom, hope we got the name right). Christina was super friendly and helpful through our stay. She brought to us some home cooked Greek pastries and biscuits next day and we loved them. The house looks and feels better than the photos. Beautiful sea view in a quiet area. We felt so relaxpastIt has everything you need to enjoy your stay there. Great place for a family. Highly recommend and we will definitely come back. Lots of lovely memory. Thank you Christina and Grigoris.

Καθαρός χώρος και σε πολύ καλή τοποθεσία, μόλις 5 λεπτά απο την παραλία. Ιδανική τοποθεσία και για να πας στις ωραιότερες παραλίες των Χανίων. Ο Γιώργος είναι εξυπηρετικός, φιλόξενος και πρόθυμος να βοηθήσει με ό,τι χρειαστείς.

Das Häuschen war perfekt für unsere größere Gruppe mit Kindern. Wir haben Babybetten zur Verfügung gehabt und durften 2 tolle Pools nutzen und das Meer war super nah! Etwas mehr Ausstattung wie z.B. Salz oder Öl hätte uns geholfen aber in Fußnähe sind mehrere Supermärkte, Bäcker und Souvlaki erreichbar. Die Kommunikation war professionell, die Rezeption und sogar Reinigungsservice super nett! Ein toller Urlaub, gerne wieder!!

Wir hatten eine wundervolle Zeit in dem Haus und haben uns von Anfang an total wohl gefühlt. Die Umgebung und die Aussicht ist einfach traumhaft. Der Pool ist unbeschreiblich. Es ist wirklich ein toller Ort, um zu entspannen und sich zu erholen. Zunächst wollten wir nur eine Woche bleiben, haben dann aber den Aufenthalt sogar noch verlängert. Dank des tollen Gastgebers war das kein Problem. Vielen Dank für dieses wunderbare Urlaubserlebnis. Wir kommen bestimmt nochmal wieder ;-).

Από την αρχή της διαμονής μας, οι ιδιοκτήτες μας υποδέχθηκαν με θερμή φιλοξενία και φιλικότητα. Εκτός από το γεγονός ότι ήταν πάντα πρόθυμοι να μας βοηθήσουν με ό,τι χρειαστήκαμε, μας έκαναν να νιώσουμε σαν στο σπίτι μας. Είναι, επίσης, ιδιοκτήτες ενός τοπικού καταστήματος με παραδοσιακά καλούδια, και μας πρόσφεραν τα πιο νόστιμα καλτσούνια που έχουμε δοκιμάσει ποτέ – μια πραγματική γευστική εμπειρία! Το διαμέρισμα ήταν πεντακάθαρο και πολύ άνετο, ενώ η τοποθεσία του ήταν ιδανική: βρισκόταν σε μια ήσυχη γειτονιά, αλλά μόλις 8 λεπτά με το αυτοκίνητο από το όμορφο παλιό λιμάνι. Επιπλέον, ήταν εξαιρετικά pet-friendly, κάτι που εκτιμήσαμε ιδιαίτερα, καθώς οι ιδιοκτήτες φροντίζουν με αγάπη μερικές γάτες στην αυλή τους. Γενικά, ήταν μια υπέροχη διαμονή με εξαιρετικούς ανθρώπους, και σίγουρα θα το προτείνουμε σε οποιονδήποτε θέλει να απολαύσει την πραγματική κρητική φιλοξενία!

Wunderbare Gastgeber und persönlicher Aufenthalt.
Unser Aufenthalt bei Aristea und Kostas war einfach großartig! Sie sind sehr liebevolle Gastgeber und waren jederzeit für uns da. Besonders haben wir ihre vielen wertvollen Tipps geschätzt. Für unsere Kinder haben sie sogar Spielzeug vorbeigebracht, was die Kleinen total begeistert hat. Die Katzen und Hühner vor Ort waren ebenfalls ein Highlight für die Kinder. Das Airbnb-Erlebnis war so, wie man es sich früher vorgestellt hat – sehr privat und persönlich, fernab von den typischen Ferienhäusern. Ein absolut authentischer und herzlicher Aufenthalt, den wir jederzeit weiterempfehlen würden!

Absolutely amazing host and villa. Kosta and his office were brilliant and when we got to the villa we were met by Stella. She could not have done more to make our stay any better; communication was seamless, so many local suggestions, local produce left throughout the stay, the loan of a stoneware pot to use in the pizza oven over tonight to slow cook vegetables, honestly everything and more. The villa is exactly like the photos - stunning. Breath taking location with a view we all miss now we are home. The layout of the villa is excellent; it is beautifully decorated, the outside kitchen area is perfect and much used. The landscaping is wonderful, and the pool is gorgeous. The villa was meticulously cleaned throughout our stay and the pool and garden maintained to the highest standard. We had the most wonderful holiday; thank you so much Stella and your team for everything.

Εξαιρετικο σπιτι, ειχε τα παντα, μεχρι και τραπεζι πινγκ πονγκ πληρως εξοπλισμενο Υπεροχη πισινα Εξαιρετικα ησυχη γειτονια με πολυ ωραιο περιβαλλοντα χωρο και πολυ κοντα σε παραλιες μινι μαρκετ και ταβέρνες Παραλληλα ειναι ιδανικο σημειο για να γνωρισει καποιος ολες τις ομορφιες του ρεθυμνου προς ολες τις κατευθυνσεις Πραγματικα θα ηθελα καθε χρονο να κανω διακοπες σε αντίστοιχα σπιτια και τοσο ομορφες περιοχες

From the moment we arrived to the moment we left we had a fantastic time and stay at Olive Villa. Panagiotis and Olga are an absolutely delightful couple as well as kind, generous and hard-working hosts. It is clear that they both take great pride in their home and also go out of their way to ensure the accommodation and facilities they provide for their guests are of an extremely high standard. We were hugely impressed by and spent a lot of time relaxing in the beautiful garden (immaculately tended) as well as in the swimming pool (very clean and well-maintained) and dining in the outside bbg area (fantastically set out and equipped). We cannot recommend it highly enough and dearly hope to be able to return in the not too distant future!

Wir waren zu dritt im Apartment inkl 3-jährigem Kind. Die Unterkunft war wie beschrieben und die Gastgeber geben sich alle Mühe, den Aufenthalt so bequem wie möglich zu gestalten. Die Kommunikation vorab und auch während des Aufenthalts war super schnell und hilfreich. Wir haben sehr viele Tipps und Beschreibungen erhalten, um uns vor Ort zurecht zu finden. Die gemeinsam genutzte Dachterrasse ist sehr schön und auch der Balkon des Apartments hat eine gute Größe. Die Ausstattung ist simpel, aber es ist alles da, was man benötigt. Wir können diese Unterkunft absolut weiterempfehlen (Preis-Leistung stimmt).

Lovely villa and garden in a quiet spot. Kostas and Elizabeth were very approachable and responded quickly to any queries. As others have said, the only slight draw back is the approach to the villa down a very narrow drive with a right angled turn which took some manoeuvring even in our smallish car. We got used to it and ultimately this didn't spoil our enjoyment of this beautiful property.

We were two families with two children and spend a week in Lena’s house. The villa is specious and comfortable. Pool was nice and clean. The house is in a remote location so you do need a car for everything, but you are in a less touristy and quiet spot of Crete and you can reach most of the top attractions within an hour drive. It’s about 15min drive to the nearest beach and 45min to Rhetymno town. It’s also easy to go to the mountains.

Appartement avec très joli jardin et très belle piscine. Il y a un emplacement pour la voiture. Marilena nous a très bien accueillis, et en français en plus 😊! Elle nous a informés des activités à faire dans la région.
