What an incredible stay!! There wasn't a minute in the 2weeks we stayed where we didn't feel immense gratitude to be staying somewhere so beautiful surrounded by such wonderfully kind people. From before we even left Marie was fantastic at putting us in contact with the staff at the Villa who were incredible and arranged us getting to the villa and took care of us to the highest standard the entire trip. We was treated like family by Kadek, Komang, Putu and the team who were all especially caring to our children. We had lots of tears when we left. The villa itself is beautiful with immaculately kept gardens and the sea lapping up on the shore at the bottom of the garden. We ate every meal at the Villa which we're all incredible! Putu organised fantastic trips and has brilliant knowledge. I would highly recommend the location of the villa for anyone wanting to experience true authentic Bali away from the touristic crowds. Thankyou so much to Marie and the team we can't wait to return!

Jody and her magical villa are the BEST! A dream come true. Gorgeous, home-y and magical in every sense of the word! Every inch is beautifully furnished and decorated in such great detail! So many little corners inside and outside to nestle up in! Feng shui and energy is amazing there! And the beach, right in your backyard, is warm and perfect for swimming! Kadek and the grounds crew are so sweet and friendly and keep the place immaculate! Jody herself is awesome— warm, friendly, sincere, extremely responsive and helpful — her beautiful energy is throughout the property. If I could give 10 stars out of 5, I would! Exceeded my expectations!!

Séjour exceptionnelle en compagnie de Ahu et son conjoint! Des gens humains, attentionnés à nos besoins et tres Généreux! Nous avons fait 2 sorties de pêche et une autre de snorkelling ! Ils nous ont accompagné dans les transports et démarches! À prendre note qu’on est loin des épiceries Mais un endroit où on peut commander du restaurant et c’est très bon! Expérience extra entouré de locaux ! On recommande !!! Nous y étions avec nos 3 enfants de 3-12-14 ans.

This place is absolutely incredible!! Private getaway with everything you could want or need, and only a short walk to a Main Street with restaurants, shops, and beach! Vincent was the most gracious host, meeting us upon arrival to show us his space he built for his family, and meeting us at departure to make sure our stay was up to par! Unbelievable way to spend your time in Bali and highly recommend this villa and Vincent!

Der tolle Pool, die spektakuläre Aussicht über Reisfelder bis zum Meer und die Übernachtung im offenen Schlafzimmer haben diesen Urlaub ganz besonders gemacht. Der romantische Weg durch die Reisfelder führt zu einem unglaublich schönen und sauberen Strand, an dem man endlos lange, einsame Spaziergänge machen kann. Die Villa ist außergewöhnlich designed und mal etwas völlig anderes, als die üblichen Bali-Villen. Wayan und Kadek haben uns liebevoll umsorgt, aber auch die nötige Privatsphäre gelassen. Vielen Dank an das ganze Team für diese schöne Zeit!

Villa Palmeira was an exceptional stay and I highly recommend it. Agus looked after our needs with a smile and organised daily massages, a snorkeling tour, shopping trips and more for our group. We will absolutely be coming back! Additional information that is not in the other reviews: 1. A 10L filtered water bottle is hooked up to a machine. It is safe to drink. 2. The staff know how to prepare fruits, vegetables and salad. We ate a LOT of fresh salads and did not get sick. 3. Expect to see animals around the villa including small snakes, crabs, lizards (which sound like they are quacking), dogs and cats. 4. Agus will book with local groups – meaning you will get the most bang for your buck AND experience the greatest hospitality Bali has to offer. 5. Alcohol is expensive. Customs allows 1L per person to be brought into Bali. 6. Treat the staff well and they will treat you well! Agus loves Baileys and Whiskey. We tipped $50000 - $100000 IDR ($5AUD - $10AUD) for various services.

Wir waren sehr zufrieden in der Unterkunft. Das Haus ist wunderschön, der Empfang sehr herzlich. Das Essen war lecker. Man kann einen Roller mieten. Die Region ist ganz anders als andere Orte auf Bali, sehr viel ruhiger, die Menschen netter. Wir würden wieder hierher kommen. Wir waren auch zum Arbeiten dort, das Internet war sehr stabil. Vielen Dank für alles.

Everything about our stay was fantastic. The pool was a really good size - not usual in a private villa. Loved the rooms and bathrooms - and the open lounge/kitchen/dinning space was perfect for hanging out. The staff were so brilliant, making sure we were well looked after - and the breakfasts were delicious! Special mention to Andy and Harry for being so attentive and friendly. We were lucky enough to have a late checkout, which was hugely appreciated. VERY sad to leave - but will definitely be back! Thank you!

We had a fabulous stay. Ketut and Wayan took great care of us and were quite thoughtful with meals. We used Luh's Massage recommendations were wonderful in villa! We did short half day trips for the Buddhist Temple, Hot Springs, Git-Git Waterfall, and Aling-Aling Waterfall area with cliff jumping, waterfall slides, and a blue lagoon. We also did a boat ride to see dolphins where they pick you up on the shore, which was prettt wonderful at sunrise (but the boats kind of chase the dolphins, so it was also a little sad even though it was fun to see the pods and babies). The space is big enough to have your own room to relax and communal enough to have fun with friends/family with a fabulous pool that gradually gets deeper and is dive worthy and a great swim length for any swimmers or divers! The hosts are thoughtful and offer a welcome meal and breakfast, so make sure to let them know allergies at the time of booking so they can accomodate. It was a wonderful stay!

Our stay at Sound of the Sea was nothing short of amazing! We traveled as a family of 12 to celebrate my 60th birthday, and everything was absolutely perfect. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, ensuring that every detail was taken care of. One of the standout highlights was the incredible food prepared by the chefs. From breakfast to lunch and dinner, every meal was delicious, beautifully presented, and made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The special BBQ dinner and the surprise birthday cake made the celebration even more memorable! The accommodation itself was spacious, comfortable, and ideal for a large family gathering. Whether lounging by the pool or enjoying the peaceful surroundings, we felt truly relaxed and at home. A huge thank you to the entire team for making this such a special experience for me and my family. We will cherish these memories and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a luxurious and personalized stay in Canggu.

Overall, we had a good stay. Putu and Iluh were wonderful, and their cooking was exceptional—they prepared delicious meals for us over Christmas, and their breakfasts were also excellent. Evelien added a special touch by setting up a Christmas tree and decorations in the villa, which we truly appreciated. The staff went above to accommodate our needs, ensuring we felt well cared for throughout our stay. The house itself is charming, with a beautiful garden and a relaxing view of the sea. However, the property could use some refurbishment. It’s also worth mentioning that only two rooms have double beds, while the others have single beds. The location is great if you plan to spend most of your time at the villa, but there isn’t much to do in the surrounding area. The road leading to the villa is in poor condition and quite muddy, likely due to the rainy season, which made finding the house a bit challenging at first.

Villa Sansil felt like home and by the time we left, Nyoman & all of the house staff (and dogs!!) felt like family. We had a wonderful, wonderful stay and cannot say enough nice things. We loved all the dogs. We had some of the best food we’ve ever had. Made is an exceptional cook and we didn’t even bother leaving the villa for food because we knew we wouldn’t find anything better than what she prepared. 12/10 recommend this place and look forward to coming back. We hope that we can find a way to stay in touch with Nyoman and the villa dogs.

Staying at this villa was a dream! It was so gorgeous and the house manager was so helpful and friendly. My friends and I are definitely coming back and staying here. Such an amazing experience!

Die Villa ist sehr groß, man hat sehr viel Platz. Der Außenbereich mit dem sehr großen Infinitypool, mit den Frangipani-Bäumen, die auch Schatten spenden und der sehr schön gestalteten überdachten Terrasse, mit vielen bequemen Sonnenliegen hat uns sehr gut gefallen. In der sehr gut ausgestatteten Küche kann man jederzeit gekühltes Wasser aus dem Spender holen. Elly, die Haushälterin, die fantastisch kocht, hat uns abwechselnd ein sehr leckeres Frühstück oder Abendessen zubereitet. Elly und Ihr Mann Kadek waren super gastfreundlich und sehr hilfsbereit. Sie haben uns geholfen einen Roller auszuleihen und einen Fahrer und Hausmassagen organisiert. Wir empfehlen diese Unterkunft wärmstens!

I can’t express enough how much we enjoyed our stay at The Cove. We also got married there and couldn’t imagine it more perfect! From the villa manager, Chef Wayan and even the gardeners helped us so much in making it the most special day. Rosella also made the whole process of arranging a wedding in Bali much easier. Overall the place is much nicer in person and the food was out of this world! Please do yourself a favour and go send a few days in absolute tranquility

What can’t we say about this trip? The grounds were immaculate. The pool was clean and cool and a hit with all of us. Kadek and Komang took the best care of us. There were unexpected bonuses like amazing meals prepared in house for the cost of ingredients and of course a tip for Komang - who is an amazing cook. The gardener even took us to see the reefs off shore in his boat - a real treat for which we are forever grateful. The hosts suggested Edy who drove us around and he too went above and beyond - showing us places we surely would not have found on our own. Our last evening, we were invited to the village’s temple’s birthday celebration. We were dressed in traditional wear and were immersed in some of the local customs. None of us wanted to leave. Warm weather, warmer people, beautiful, green surroundings, amazing staff and responsive hosts. This might just be our best trip so far in Asia. We can’t thank you all enough for everything you did. We are talking about a return ASAP :)

We had an excellent stay at Diana's home in Bali. we were torn between a resort in Nusa Dua area or this. we are SO happy we decided to stay at Diana's home. The home was exactly as shown in the pictures, honestly more beautiful, pictures don't do it justice). Everything was just as the listing described! What REALLY sets this house apart and made our stay unforgettable was Wayan, the house manager. He along with the other staff (cleaner, gardener) were so helpful and friendly! We had the chance to also meet some of Wayan's family during our stay and they are such amazing people. Wayan is always there for suggestions or recommendations, but we still always had privacy. This was an excellent vacation for our family and if you are considering this, I would recommend you do it!!!

Our family of 6 adults had the best stay at the Villa - the beachfront aspect with swimming directly out front and in the pool was great. It is very remote - no nearby restaurants to walk to - the location is completely different to what it shows you if you click on show location in the airbnb map - it places the Villa to the north of Lovina dolphin tours behind Pepito supermarket, where we thought we could walk next door to a hotel for cocktails. A driver to take us there was $20-30, so bear that in mind. Once we rearranged our mindset, we had an exceptional experience - great for family bonding with meals and games around the long outside table. Komang the housekeeper was brilliant and cooked meals for us every night from a menu - something I didn’t know was available beforehand but was extremely grateful for when I discovered we weren’t next door to the above mentioned supermarket or hotel restaurants. She also arranged for 2 massage ladies to come daily - brilliant!

Amazing place to stay in Bali! If I could, I would've booked for few more days. Very comfortable and clean bedroom, huge living room space, very nice outdoor kitchen. Environment was also very peaceful, and parking lot was provided. The unit is also very secure, and Raka very responsive. The other staffs (security and gardener) were also very friendly and welcoming. They helped us promptly when we asked for help too! Thankyou for the solid hosting! Will definitely recommend this to my friends!
