This place was perfect for what we needed! Four adults, six big kids..there was plenty of room for everyone to have their own space. The “man cave” with the pool table and couch and extra bed was perfect for my aunt who isn’t able to manage stairs. We spent most of our time in the spacious backyard on deck watching the kids play in the pool. The heated pool was the selling point for us! The host, Kim, was also very gracious with check in time and responded quickly. My son left his baseball hat there and she was able to locate it and we were able to pick it up the same day we left. 10/10 recommend!

We had a fantastic time at this beautiful accommodation. It was perfectly located - it seemed like almost everywhere we wanted to go was within a 20 min drive. The house itself is spacious and beautiful with excellent attention to detail. We really appreciated the heated pool and hot tub which meant that even though the weather was quite cool whilst we were in San Antonio, our downtime felt special. The kids also loved the pool table, Xbox and arcade games. The hosts thought of everything! It is a real 5 star experience. Anna is extremely proactive at checking in and very responsive to any enquiries we had leading up to, and during, our stay. We would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone thinking of staying near San Antonio and we will definitely be back should we be in the area again.

This is a beautiful home located in a very quiet neighborhood. We stayed here for 6 days and spent almost every day by the pool as it was just perfect. House was well maintained and very clean. Bedrooms and Bathrooms were all beautiful. Had a couple of minor issues on 1st day, however Host responded immediately and issues were taken care of within a few hours, could not have asked for more. 5 Stars!!

The provided kitchen utensils, seasoning, bath supplies, laundry supplies, etc was a great extra touch! The beds and pillows were very comfortable and we found there to be plenty of towels for both the pool and the bathrooms. There was plenty of seating for our party of 10 and the parking was easy out front also. Jessica was a great host who not only responded quickly but also came back to fix the outdoor lights on our first night. If we need somewhere to stay in this area again, we will definitely check this place out first!

Awesome spot! Everything was nice. I will say the king bed room stayed warmer than the rest. Not miserable but warmer. Many steps throughout the house that was awkward but plenty of room and local to all. Would definitely stay there again no doubt! I do question knowing Dennis Rodman lifestyle how he never had broken legs or ankles from steps lol. Solid host solid spot!! Will def stay there again if needing a large spot for large group. Great place great host!! A rating!

This place was great. The heated pool was comfortable, the backyard was a great spot to hangout with friends, the open space on the bottom floor inside was very accommodating for our family gathering, and the game room kept all of the kids entertained. There was plenty of room upstairs for everyone to sleep comfortably as well. I would definitely stay here again.

Large space that was perfect for the guys and pre wedding weekend. Daniel was always very responsive and helpful with any questions. We’d definitely recommend this place, especially for larger groups.

“Best house EVER!!! - my kids’ reaction upon arrival. Grayhund Acres is definitely the best Airbnb we’ve stayed in. It has everything you need for a peaceful and comfortable vacation! Our kids and dogs were endlessly entertained by the beautiful space, both inside and outside the “best house ever.” Plenty to explore outside, the swings and hammocks were a big hit. My husband grilled out almost every night, and we loved sitting on the porch with coffee and wine while the kids and dogs played. The kitchen had everything we could need and more. Beds were comfortable, and the upstairs bathroom with the soaking tub was awesome! The kids barely watched any tv the whole week—they were too busy playing with the many games and toys when they weren’t outside. It’s only about a 10 min scenic drive to the state park and into town. About 15 min in the other direction is Travis P Trailrides, where we went horseback riding. I highly recommend it—our favorite activity besides the best house ever!

Westview Retreat is a great location for hiking and boating. Though the lake is at an all time low due to a drought, the community was informative and boating company we used to rent a pontoon were very friendly and knowledgeable of the area and best areas to venture. Westview is a quiet neighborhood and a short distance from great hiking. The amenities and home felt like home, very clean, comfortable, and easy to maintain. Appliances and furniture uptodate and overall cozy. Definitely need to visit again.

This house was perfect for a couple and two single women. The living room was super comfortable with a huge tv. We loved the views from the front porch and we enjoyed the fire pit in the back. We spent a wonderful Christmas in this beautiful environment. Thanks for everything!

We had a fantastic and cozy weekend getaway in the hills with our family, including a two-year-old and a four-year-old. The spaciousness of the house was perfect for everyone, and the large deck was ideal for running around and playing games. We also loved the hot tub! The town has so much to offer but retreating to this peaceful home was truly delightful. The beds were comfortable, the water was hot, and the Wi-Fi signal was strong, and the clear, wide open sky made stargazing a highlight. And the deer that came by for dinner! We can’t wait to return.

We booked for Family Weekend at Texas State. The property was about 15 minutes from campus. The river access was a plus! The property provided access to floats and a kayak which was great for the kids. I would definitely recommend this property to friends and family.

Wonderful spot and super close to the base gate! They even had a thought sign welcoming our family… really nice!!! Would absolutely stay there again, and I highly recommend this home to any and all BMT families!

Lovely home and easy to contact if any questions with quick responses

Their home was perfect! Close to Lackland AF Base. We rented for my son’s AirForce graduation which was only about 5 minutes away. We didn’t have any issues at all. If I had a question, they responded quickly! If I go back to San Antonio, I will definitely be renting their place again. Definitely a 5 star!!

The place was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Kevin was incredibly kind and responsive, made sure we had everything we needed. The location was perfect, close to town and activities but still quiet enough to relax. I highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking for a cozy, peaceful getaway. I’ll definitely be booking again!

The house and the yard was fantastic. It has a large kitchen, and living area . The sofa was so comfortable, nice and had plenty seating. I now want to go buy one just like it. The kids room was great. They had a tent with toys in which my 2 year old niece. The outdoor deck and fenced in yard was my favorite. My little corgi dog was so exited to run around and go stare at the cows and neighbors dog. There is a play scape/funhouse, tree swing , and a zip line. We got to see the cows in the back twice and they are beautiful . Amber left snacks for the kiddos by and keurig coffee supplies and tea. The beds were comfy and had soft quilts instead of thick comforters. Everything was very nice and clean and kid and dog friendly .

Veronica has an amazing property. She keeps this place in pristine condition and is very responsive for any questions you may have. Look forward to booking again in the future.

Great if you have little ones. They offered a hair chair, play pen, dishes and some other kitchen necessities kids might need. Location looks Iike an older neighborhood, which it indeed is ..but neighbors aren’t even heard of. So that was great. ONLY downside, there were so many bees outside…we couldn’t be outside because of that. Other than that, great! Highly recommend

Absolutely fantastic place. Anytime I am in San Antonio, I will be staying here. I came into town for surgery and this place was so perfectly accommodating for that. The shower had a teeny tiny step to navigate getting in and out of. The recliner was perfect post op for sleeping in. Kitchen had every appliance you would need. Perfectly located for shopping or whatever else you may need. Don’t look anywhere else, this is your place!

Great stay for our large extended family. So happy we found Marilyn’s beautiful homes for our family. Very clean, beautifully done. No complaints. Great communication. Hope to be back this summer.
