Great location and the pool and fire pit were the perfect amenities to end a day of riding! The host was very responsive and made planning our trip, getting trail passes, check in, and check out seamless. We couldn’t find any extra supplies at the house (ie paper towels, trash bags, etc.) so recommend bringing some of the day to day basics with you. Would definitely recommend to others!

We had a fantastic stay, visiting family at Christmas! We all enjoyed the arcade games, pinball, air hockey, and foosball. The kids enjoyed staying together in the bunk bed room. We had everything we needed to cook, and plenty of blankets and towels. I love that there is a huge dining room table in the same space as the living room, as well as a large table in the game room, which allows for two separate gathering and eating spaces. The game room has a door that can close it off for privacy if anyone stays on the couch bed in there. FYI - If you have anyone with mobility issues, be aware that the ground floor has one step down into the downstairs bedroom, full bathroom, and game room. You can enter the game room without steps, and there is a half bath there, but there is a step up to get to the kitchen, living room and rest of the house. It would not be wheelchair accessible. The owner does mention this in the safety & property section. We would definitely stay here again!

This was an excellent stay in Pipestem with a great location very close to many amazing vistas. The hot tub is a great amenity and a stand out for the BnB. The house was clean, organized, and well decorated. The kitchen had a full suite of equipment and there was more than enough for cooking and barbecuing. GPS for this neighborhood can be tricky but there were large door numbers in front of the property that made it easy to find. The hosts were responsive and accommodating, and the custom instructions were fair and reasonable. Absolutely excellent place to stay, would highly recommend to anyone who wants to enjoy southern West Virginia!

We Had a very good experience staying here as a group of 11 planty of room cozy house hot tub felt great after a whole day or riding the trails.

Fantastic place to stay for a long girls' weekend! House is gorgeous and worth every penny!!! We were there in January, and it was still amazing. Can't imagine what it's like when it's warmer!

Stayed here overnight while in town for an athletic event. Check- in was easy, everything was exactly as advertised. Everything is provided- even snacks on the coffee bar. Crystal was super responsive to any texts getting back to me very quickly and was very friendly . Definitely would stay here again!

Host was easy to work with and responsive. If you are looking for a place to stay to ride the HMT, this is it. Well set up house, wash station, plenty of parking for trailers, easy access to almost all of the trail systems and access to the Outlaw trails. And a pool to relax in after a day riding! This will be our go to place for HMT trips!

Sarah’s place was clean, quiet, and comfortable. It was about 15 minutes to VT campus, so it was close enough to get to everything we needed, but peacefully removed from the busyness of a big football weekend. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thanks, Sarah!

Great weekend stay for Virginia Tech football game. Linda's home was perfect setup with plenty of parking and sleeping accommodations for us to call home-base. Plenty of convenient options for food and retail in nearby Christiansburg and less than 15 minutes to downtown Blacksburg.

This is our second time staying with Karin. We were warmly welcomed by both Karin and her husband. The accommodations are lovely and comfortable. It is a great location if you are in town for a VT football game. We hope to be back next season.

We loved our stay at the VT Hokie Guest House. The home was very clean and had extra nice touches. Beautiful setting and close to VT. Barbara was a great host. We hope to stay again!

Amanda’s place was great. My parents stayed there for my school event. They felt very comfortable and happy to rent the cottage. She was very responsive, helpful and kind.

The view from the property and house was spectacular!! What a great place and anything you needed was there , kayaks & paddles, tubes to float, fishing poles, grills, tables seating on the lower patio… I will be coming back if at all possible! The only negative is the large number of steps to get in the house (if you are older)….. but we literally were on the shaded patio or on the dock most of the time. Again just an awesome place!!

Carlin was great! He even let us know there was snow and moved us to a more accessible cabin. This property is simply beautiful, great walks with the dogs, saw lots of wildlife.

It was a nice and clean place We had a hard time getting into the house because the code on the website was different code. Luckily my sister checked her email and found out that the code on website was not correct However we went into the house There were trains running over the night. Even if some of us managed to get sleep with ear plugs, then others had hard time sleeping at night Despite of what being said above, the place is huge and clean. We are still happy with the place due to price and the close location to VT Also Shaena responded quickly even if we contacted her really late. Thank you Shaena!!

I had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The place was exceptionally clean, peaceful, and very comfortable. It provided everything I needed for a relaxing getaway. Highly recommend!

Very scenic area to stay and wonderful service from the hosts. The mattress was quite soft for my tastes but otherwise an excellent visit.

We had a really fun stay at Shaena’s home. The home was spacious, clean and has a lot of character. The surrounding area was beautiful with many close trails to enjoy. The home is a reasonable distance from Blacksburg while feeling more remote. Be prepared for how close the train is, that said if you like trains the view is really cool!
