Alexandra's Airbnb in Nanaimo, BC was just great--so much so that with regard to the star ratings I wish I could have given greater than five! In fact, the location gives life to the slogan Beautiful BC, situated on the coast as it is with full view of the islands and inlets which give coastal British Columbia its unique flavor. We enjoyed the hot tub, and beach below, views of the ferries and bird life and tides, the weather coming in and so much more. The binoculars on the table upstairs got a lot of use, and were one of the many neat features of this lovely house. Plus, the easy access to town was perfect for us! Thank you, Alexandra, for a lovely time, and we hope to be return guests if you'll have us in the not too distant future!

I am SO glad we found this space. Even staying in the middle of winter was a dream. Maybe even better because we had the beaches and town to ourselves it felt like. I can’t wait to come back to Gibsons and stay here again, would do so in a heartbeat. Truly walkable to town, beautiful beach is right there… just the best. Just book it! You won’t regret it.

I really enjoyed my visit to Lauri's Tiny Seaside retreat. It was actually bigger than I had expected which is always nice. It felt so comfortable that I was able to relax and enjoy some crafting which was the whole point of the visit. This was my first time to the sunshine coast and left a great impression. Highly recommend this location.

George est un hôte très amical et bienveillant. La caravane est bien équipée. La localisation au bord de l’eau est incroyable (attention : un tout petit peu bruyant lors de l’arrivée des ferrys). Toutefois, le prix est élevé pour une simple caravane dans une allée, avec un vis-à-vis direct sur les fenêtres de la maison (même prix que les logements entiers dans la région). Gros bonus : l’utilisation des kayaks !

Alison’s place is old but spacious and well situated with a very nice view and a quiet neighborhood. The amount of utensils, pans, cutlery, plates, glasses etc. were far better than most Airbnb’s, plenty of everything. The washer and dryer were much appreciated. There is a TV but you need your own input device. That said I’d certainly stay there again.

Daniel’s place on Quadra was wonderful. It made me feel like I was visiting a family cottage. Every small detail was taken care of down to the full towel closet, a pantry and spice cupboard, and the espresso machine. Sitting in the front room looking out at the ocean, watching the birds and seals and orcas go by during the rain was food for the soul. We’ll definitely be back.

What a beautiful home! Incredible views and exactly as described. Very easy to navigate - everything is labelled. Communication was perfect - Terrence checked in during the stay which was a nice touch. Although I brought most of my own things - this home is fully stocked with essentials. The wood burning fireplace was a nice added bonus. The home is spacious yet cozy. My dog and I had a wonderful stay and would absolutely return! I would have extended my stay if the days were available. Highly recommend!!

We had a really great time at this very comfortable townhouse! Derek was a very responsive host and was incredibly accommodating of us traveling with a baby. Would definitely stay here again!

stayed here with my 8 year old daughter for 2 nights for a little getaway. it was a nice small option with a good list of amenities to keep busy with the kiddo 👍🏾

The Strand out of Pacific Shores Resort was perfect for my little family. The space is very modern & cozy. We utilized all the amenities such as the indoor & outdoor hot tubs, sauna, outdoor children’s heated pool in the winter, indoor swimming pool, spa and restaurant. Jenn & Nikki were amazing hosts super friendly & responsive. We felt so at home in their space. I was pregnant through our stay and enjoyed taking baths in the soaker tub with the fire place on. We took walks each day along the ocean and up into the estuary. One day we walked right to Rathtrevor Beach & stopped for lunch at Tigh-Nah-Mara Resort. I plan to return with my family in the future hopefully for years to come. This place holds its own magic and is great for island folks looking for a staycation. Our little one enjoyed the beach and playground. We enjoyed being close to Nanaimo, but far enough away you can take in the stars at night and listen to the ocean without the sounds of the city.

I had an absolutely outstanding stay at Margaret's place. The location right on the water was perfect, and the sunsets we're breathtaking. It was such a beautiful spot. The two bedrooms we're spacious, and I loved the fireplaces - they really added to the cozy ambiance. There we're lovely patios to hang out on, and the jacuzzi tub was a nice bonus. I really enjoyed my stay. Highly recommend!

Amazing place to be for a relaxing weekend. I would definitely stay again! Beautiful scenery, many nature walks & hikes nearby, and lots of amenities. Hosts were very responsive and accommodating.

This was our second stay at an Airbnb in Nanoose Bay at the Pacific Shores resorts. Chelsea's place was top of the line. As described, clean and comfortable. Everything we needed and more. Comfortable for the 6 of us who stayed. We loved the location and lay out of the condo, and loved being able to utilize the resort amenities as well. We hope and plan to stay here again next year and for many more to come!

Lovely home to stay, quiet, spacious, good green space for dogs, super access to ocean, everything we needed. Beautiful grounds and landscaping. Two vehicles able to park outside at unit. Restaurants and shops 5-15 minutes away. Good beds and linens. Take your favourite staples if you cook in more. Quick responsive hosts.

We stayed over valentines long weekend and had a fantastic weekend! We enjoyed the amazing view and watching the seals splash around everyday, the wood burning fire place was a great addition during the cold evenings, and the bed was so comfortable! We found the home to be so cozy, we didn’t want to leave. We look forward to returning again in the future :)

we totally enjoyed our stay at Brad's place. it's a little slice of beauty both watching through the windows or walking the beach. the mountains behind Powell River did their magic our first two sunsets and showed again the morning we departed. We'd happily go back.

Literally a slice of heaven. Outstanding communication. Bastian had everything set up perfectly, from recommendations to ease in finding the place and checking in/out. The value for such a perfectly clean, incredible location, and peaceful area is remarkable. The views were unbeatable, the place was so comfortable, I felt like I was in heaven for an entire week. I'd absolutely return, and cannot wait for my next chance to do that!

This is a wonderful property with a beautiful waterfront view and many extras like the paddle boards, badminton and ladder toss. The host gave us some of his golf clubs to chip and putt. He was friendly but did not intrude and provided us with information about the area. My family from the Netherlands would not have had this experience in Europe and were extremely happy they did. Thank you.

One of the best Airbnb experiences we have ever had. Amazing peaceful location. Large open plan with lots of separate seating areas. Fully equipped kitchen with quality pots and pans. We will most definitely try to return and book again for another week of paradise. Daily we see sea lions and seals, many birds, and one day we saw dolphins.

5 stars not enough to describe how beautiful David's place. if u want a place to relax and have a lovely time with your family ,David's place is the place that you should have. I will recommend this place to all of my friends, co-workers and relatives. And will be definitely come back :) .

Trish and Dave were wonderful, responsive hosts. We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful spot to spend time. Clean, well-furnished, and walking distance from the ocean. Already planning our next stay!
