Beautiful apartment in beautiful area of downtown Ellijay. Short walk to everything downtown. Perfect getaway with lots to do and beautiful scenery Everywhere you look. Host was very accessible at any time, and very informative and friendly of all the surrounding areas. We will go back and stay here again loved everything about it.

I had a very nice stay at Tom and Christine’s place. It’s an above the garage apartment with its own entrance. It looks exactly like the pictures provided. The location is in a residential neighborhood off the beaten path. Very quiet and relaxing. I did have an issue with the key pad and it was resolved very quickly by Christine. The only draw back for me was I was there alone one of the nights and there are a few windows without any covering and I felt a little uncomfortable at night. Otherwise this was a very nice stay. Lots of restaurants and shops within a few miles.

Excellent option in Ellijay...close to Amicalola Falls, Appalachian Trail, apple orchards, river, local town square for coffee, shops, restaurants and nightlife. Cultural museums, candy shop. We stayed here for my nephew's wedding at Summit Farm Weddings @10 miles away...a beautiful atmosphere with picturesque mountains, rolling hills and pastures. Highly recommend. It was chilly in FEB, but we'll be back again for check out summer. Thank you RandA!

Me and my friends spent a week at this place. Even though it's a shared space, it's very private. The surroundings are beautiful and it's a great place to unwind and relax, highly recommend!

My family and I visited the cabin for a long weekend. We thoroughly enjoyed the check-in process. We even received a message about checking in early. The kitchen was clean. There was coffee, tea and hot chocolate as well as some seasonings that we could use. All dishes and utensils were easy to find. All the bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and very well put together. The beds were comfortable and the master bedroom exceeded my expectations. There was a wraparound patio and a door from the master bedroom that led to it. This was a really nice touch. The basement had a nice size kids area and some family style games. Everyone enjoyed those. There was a fire pit and a Jacuzzi outside we use the fire pit nightly. We did have to stop by the local Walmart, which was not far to get some wood. Initially, there was an issue with the Internet, but I was able to reach out and resolve it within an hour. I definitely appreciated the quick response. I would definitely revisit this locatio

Beautiful surroundings, our kids really enjoyed the creek and lake. The interior was really clean and the kitchen was well appointed. It’s a very private location, so wifi was slow during our stay which affected the TV. The owners were very responsive and extremely detailed.

My husband and I have been taking our family on mid-winter excursions for over 20 years. In the last 10+ years we’ve added 2 son-in-laws and 6 grandkids. Alternating between Georgia and East TN, this has easily been one of our favorite getaways. Our grandkids loved the downstairs area they felt was especially provided for them, but lured the rest of us too! While we had several options for activities in the area to keep the kids occupied over the long weekend, it wasn’t necessary as they preferred to stay at the cabin and enjoy all the fun and games provided along with movies and popcorn made in the vintage looking popcorn cart! The cabin is lovely and very well stocked in every way. There was an issue with the heat-pump, but our communication was seamless with the Fordham’s and they had technicians sent out quickly to look into the situation. The cabin is set in a quiet, lovely location that affords privacy and relaxation. We would definitely recommend Lake Dakwa Lodge.

A few friends and I booked this cabin for our last spring break together in college. We wanted a quaint place in the mountains to hike and explore a small town, and we got exactly what we wanted. It was so quiet and peaceful. The house, creek, and scenery were beautiful! We could not have asked for a better place to stay!

River Retreat was great for our family Thanksgiving week. Very close to downtown but private.

Linger Longer was the perfect cabin for my friends and I. We truly enjoyed our time and the home is definitely as the pictures showed. The house was very spacious, comfortable and in a peaceful area. The creek in the back made it even more peaceful and relaxing while sitting in the balcony. We truly enjoyed our time and will be coming back to Linger Longer.

This was our family’s second stay at Kim’s home. The layout of the home is perfect, with enough room to gather and for everyone to their own space. The home comes with a full kitchen including a crockpot, toaster oven and Instantpot- perfect to make home cooked meals. Super close to Ellijay, easy drive to Blue Ridge, Dahlonega & Helen. Highly recommend and look forward to staying here again!

Of all the years of visiting the North GA mountains, Russell’s cabin is by far the best we have stayed at. Russell was very prompt in answering all my questions and gave recommendations for anything you need - from restaurants to the best fishing spot. The cabin itself is simply beautiful. The inside is decorated beautifully and the owners really thought of everything. Traveling with family, with kids of all ages, was so easy here! There’s something for everyone. I didn’t even have to pack a pack n play. You will feel right at home! The games provided hours of fun and memories for our family. The outdoors and the view are priceless. We are so thankful we found this cabin! We’ve already shared it with friends and family! Book now you won’t regret it!
