We absolutely love getting an opportunity to spend time @littleretreat it feels like a home away from home. It is such a peaceful place, and we love all the trails through the forest and sitting by the wood stove. It’s so wonderful finding properties that are pet friendly and our dogs love it. Michael is a great host and makes you feel like you are just popping into a family members place while they are away. Can’t wait to get back.

We were up ice fishing, location worked great for us. There is also a general store very close for minnows and any forgotten supplies.

Perfect place to stay for a world-class fishing trip on Lake Winnipeg!

I had an amazing stay at this Airbnb! The property was impeccably equipped with everything I needed, making my trip stress-free and enjoyable. The modern design and comfortable setup made it a perfect retreat after a day of activities. The location was ideal, especially for anyone looking to enjoy skiing and biking adventures—it couldn’t have been more convenient. I highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again!

We had a great stay. We were unable to get out one day, so we were able to play pool, shuffleboard and darts to pass the time. Ron was very helpful with any questions we had. Ron offered a smoker and other grills to cook on besides the kitchen we had available. we will be back next year.

this is the perfect spot for a big group. There is an ice mix of beds, doubles, singles, queen and king so it's easy for everyone in the group to find a comfortable spot. the kitchen is fully stocked which is nice, we were able to find pretty much everything we needed to cook our meals, although the dishwasher isn't super efficient, so we did have to hand wash some things, but honestly not a big deal. There were 10 of us in the house for a weekend fishing trip, so we had a lot of gear, but there was so much space in the house and the mud room was so big that everybody could hang up their bibs and jackets which was just great!! it's definitely a place I would rebook. super cozy sitting areas. Perfect for vegging out after a full day on the ice.

Excellent experience. Beautiful to see the quiet place and escape for a few days not far from the city. Lake a few mins walk from location where there are people ice fishing as well. The cabin was warm, the linens were clean, the host was available and responsive whenever we needed something.

This cottage was perfect for our group of ice fisherman. Spacious inside and adequate parking outside. Everything was clean and inviting. Very close to a lake landing. Highly recommend this home.

This was a great place to stay while we were fishing! Only thing that I would say that could use a little upgrade would be the beds, but if you’re not that picky of a person you couldn’t ask for a better place! The house was super clean, the location was amazing and we were able to see the northern lights to cap it all off!! We would definitely stay again!

We stayed for an ice fishing trip, we unloaded our snobear when we got there and were able to drive the machine to and from the lake each day, about a 1 min drive to the access we used. Parking is a little limited but 2 vehicles with trailers could park there on the side of the road. The house was very nice for a fishing trip. The only down side is having to clean fish outside but would not hesitate to stay here again.

Awesome place! we have been coming to Lake Winnipeg ice fishing for 5 years and finally found this place. The accommodations for ice fisherman are second to none. The heated garage with fish cleaning facility was great for storing and charging our gear. The large hot tub was perfect after a long day on the ice. Very easy check in and out. Simple instructions. We would book again!

Awesome location, I grew up in the area and being able to visit with such an awesome location was great. definitely recommend a few nights stay if you get a chance. Keith was really helpful and friendly, would definitely visit again in the future

Small but cozy and warm. Window near the dining area has a nice view of the outdoors. Hot tub is very clean and easy to control. Overall, a very nice place to relax with the family.

Lukas was very kind throughout any interactions we had with him!! We came out to relax for a girls weekend and his place was the perfect place to do so! The hot tub was amazing along with the whole place itself. The place was exactly as described and had everything we needed for our weekend get away!! 100% plan on visiting again :)
