Great, peaceful location. Walking distance to restaurants, reserve (park) with playground, and a beautiful beach. Matt & his family were great hosts. We enjoyed the afternoon chats in the sunny front yard..... and the Heinekens!

This is really beachfront with a short walk down the stairs. This place made me feel right at home with a real beach bach feel. I wish we could have stayed longer. Was also great to be able to bring our dog who is a member of our family along.

This is the most stunning, family friendly beach front house. We loved our stay here. Waking up the sun rising over wainui beach both mornings was just the best 👌🏼we will be back!! Sam was amazing, so friendly, so flexible, so lovely. Thank you so much Sam for everything 🩷

I stayed here for a 3-day conference I was attending. I enjoyed being close to the venue, but staying in Wainui over Gisborne proper. I was there alone, but this would be a great place to stay as a couple. The garden area and patio were great, the kitchen and fridge were stocked with a few treats to make it a great arrival and I quite enjoyed my meander to the beach and the local vegan coffee shop! I'm familiar with this area and have stayed before in other rentals with my family, but I liked this space a ton for just me. It was super clean and welcoming, cozy, etc.

Jaye and Brent helped us out when we got stuck on the beach above and beyond. Also gave us fresh fish the first night awesome. We loved them and the lodge so much we stayed an extra night. The scenery and views are absolutely stunning. We will be going back with friends. Thanks Jaye lots of love Shaz and Paul

This was my second stay at Jeremy's place and I highly recommend it to others. The location is beautiful and the guest space has everything you need. It's private, comfortable and modern.

Very new and beautiful house with an amazing view. Very comfortable and spacious for our family. I would recommend this house to anyone staying in the Gisborne area!

Wainui beach is a fantastic location with surfer like atmosphere. The house was elevated from the sand but 10 stairs away. House has very high ceilings making it seem huge! The living areas face the beach. We had 3 couples staying and it was perfect.
