Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit in Himara und konnten Südalbanien in Ruhe und mit fast keinen Touristen geniessen. Zoe's Eltern waren sehr gastfreundlich und da sie nebenan wohnten, konnten wir täglich mit ihnen ein paar Worte wechseln... dank auch dem Sprachübersetzer! Sie haben uns in den zwei Wochen sogar zwei mal die Bettwäsche gewechselt, unseren Müll entsorgt und uns immer wieder mit Leckereien verwöhnt. Dieser "Service" ist aus unserer Erfahrung eine liebenswürdige Ausnahme! Die Wohnung war gross, sehr sauber und komfortabel eingerichtet. Unser Aufenthalt war sehr angenehm und bot viele interessante Eindrücke. Albanien ist Dank seiner schönen Landschaft und den freundlichen Menschen sicher auf einem guten Weg sich als lohnendes Reiseziel zu etablieren.

Absolutely wonderful stay. It’s nicer than the pictures. The beach is your backyard and the sunsets are breathtaking. Krista was very responsive and helped us with everything. We had the whole beach to ourselves and it was great for a family vacation. There is a wonderful restaurant nearby called manxrurane which had incredible food and a very friendly staff. Can’t wait to visit again!!

A perfect place - especialy for traditional, rural style lovers. Quiet and nice. The beds are very clean and comfortable. The way to the beach is rather difficult to walk. Theodora is very kind and helpful. When she is not around, her neighbours Felleza and Mili care for the place and are willing to help.

Ci ha accolto la madre di Anna che anche non parlando la nostra lingua è stata super carina e disponibile in tutto. È stato come essere a casa di nonna. Ci sono 3 bagni e la cucina molto grande per mangiare tutti insieme. Giardino accogliente con tanti gattini. Posizione top per spostarsi nella regione di himare (la più bella per spiagge). Lontano da caos e movida perfetta per chi vuole una location rilassata e carina. Ristoranti molto buoni nei dintorni.

Our host was incredibly kind and welcoming! Everything we needed was readily available. The house was exceptionally clean and comfortable for the 8 of us. Every morning, there was always something to eat, and the house was consistently cleaned and tidied up. I highly recommend this place without hesitation!

Der Urlaub in Linas Wohnung war eine ganz besondere Erfahrung auf unserer Albanien Reise. Die Gastfreundschaft der Familie ist unbeschreiblich. Auf Anfrage hat Linas Schwester, die im Haus wohnt, für uns mit gekocht. Alle Speisen würden traditionell zubereitet und fast ausschließlich aus eigenem Anbau hergestellt. Man fühlte sich als Teil der Familie. Die Wohnung ist mit allem eingerichtet was man braucht. Die Betten sind sehr neu und bequem. Draußen gibt es Hühner und Ziegen, über die sich besonders unsere Tochter sehr gefreut hat. Außerdem bekamen wir täglich Obst und Gemüse aus dem Garten. Die Kommunikation ist über Lina per Messenger möglich oder mit ihrer Schwester Rita vor Ort per Google Translate (sie spricht nur albanisch). Das ist aber kein Problem und hat gut funktioniert. Alles in allem eine authentische Urlaubserfahrung die wir in toller Erinnerung behalten werden. Vielen lieben Dank für die tollen Tage

Wir verbrachten eine erholsame Woche im Ferienhaus in Upper Qeparo. Besonders genossen haben wir die Ruhe des Dorfes, den Blick in die Berge, den Pool und die Freundlichkeit der Menschen im Dorf. Täglich kehrten wir bei Ida & Xhorxhi ein, egal ob für einen Kaffee, ein Bierchen oder fehlende Lebensmittel...auch das Essen im Restaurant war sehr lecker. Etwas herausfordernd ist allerdings die Anfahrt bzw. die Parkplatzsituation im Dorf...nichts für schwache Nerven. Schade ist, dass es so viele Müllecken gibt und scheinbar jede/r seinen Müll irgendwo abwirft, wie überall im Land. Alles in allem sind wir sehr froh an diesem besonderen, friedvollen Ort gewesen sein zu können.

Stefan's place is a very well located, close to a lovely and relaxing beach. It was easy to find, and has everything you needed for a stay on the coast. I can't wait to visit again!

fantastic apartment not far from the beautiful front of sarande, we had a couple of issues with the sink tap and lights but once we messaged the host they was fixed that day, only one bedroom with a mirror so could potentially do with more and one in each room, but highly recommend a stay here the views are stunning

La posizione con accesso diretto alla spiaggia ci ha permesso di rilassarci e godere a pieno del nostro soggiorno. L’host molto amichevole è disponibile. Abbiamo soggiornato in quattro persone forse sarebbe più comodo come alloggio se fosse stato per due.

The apartment was super clean, tidy and well equipt. The balcony was well-loved, as well as the rooftop with the beautiful view. Frosina (apologies if I'm spelling that wrong), looked after us so well! And, even brought us breakfast doughnuts one morning. She was extremely welcoming and made us feel right at home. The main road is about a 10-15 minute walk away and had everything we needed.

Alfred is a wonderful host. The house has a stunning view and very cozy. Will be back!

Luli was so kind and we would take her for our own grandma. Wifi was not working though. But we felt at home and it was clean ❤️😎💯✨👍👏

We had a wonderful holiday at Elvis's apartment. His mother was on hand and helpful throughout without being at all intrusive. She was very kind and gave us lemons from the beautiful garden and help when needed. The apartment has everything needed as well as lovely outside space with a beautiful view of the bay. It is peaceful and picturesque. There are 4 restaurants in the village and we tried three. Our favourite was Taverna Viktoria right next door who also provided us with takeaway food when we arrived late and on other nights when we wanted. A car is a must as the nearest beach is about a 10 minute drive, but Piqeras is a perfect location for exploring the southern part of the riviera. We especially recommend Borsh beach, Butrint, Porto Palermo and Gyrocaster as places we particularly enjoyed. For Brits Albania is fabulous value and a very beautiful picturesque country. We hope to return in the future and would definitely stay again at Elvis's.

Ronduit fantastisch! Wij zijn in Oktober 2024 met 7 personen, gezin en aanhang, geweest. Wat een prachtig huis op een unieke locatie. Je hebt vanaf de bovenverdieping een prachtig uitzicht. Je kunt Sarandë, de zee en zelfs Corfu zien. De inrichting van het huis is prima, buiten heb je een prachtig zwembad, met verlichting, een BBQ en zelfs een pizzaoven. Hout wordt voor jou geregeld door Toni en zijn familie. Sinas appelen, mandarijntjes en citroenen mochten wij zelf plukken. Als je naar beneden loopt zit er op 800 meter afstand een tweetal restaurants. Mulliri en Tamo’s Farm. Bij de eerste zijn wij twee keer wezen eten. Met z’n allen waren wij slechts €100 kwijt, maar hadden wij wel de hele menukaart op tafel staan en is er ook echt wel het nodige gedronken. Kortom een aanrader!

This airbnb is beautiful! It had everything we needed and was located between two restaurants with great fresh food at good prices. You need a car to get around as the house is in the hills and the area is very steep and rocky, but the views are well worth it.

A house with an amazing view over the sea. Well built house with all modern comforts. We stayed there with a family of 5 persons and had a great time. It takes a 10 min walk from the road to get there. So, be sure your luggage can be carried.

Anita's place is a lush oasis overlooking the sea from high above. The garden is wonderful and very well maintained, with lots of trees, fruits and flowers, with a great bbq corner, really like the pictures. The house is well equipped, comfortable with a cosy atmosphere. We enjoyed the place very much. Just across the street, the Taverna Viktoria can't be missed and is worth a few visits for the friendly service and tasty dishes to enjoy from the quiet terrace. Multiple beaches are a few kilometers away, each one offering a different scenery. We spent a great time in and around Piqeras, and we appreciated to come back to this nice place, to spend time in the garden. Getting fresh fresh pomegranate, lemon or kaki direct from the trees was a great plus to the stay. Not to forget the more than friendly cat coming and going and always happy to cuddle. This has been a great week and we thank Anita a lot for making this place available to us!

Die Unterkunft ist ein richtiges Fundstück in der Stadt. Wir waren sehr zufrieden dort und wären am liebsten länger geblieben. Die Wohnung war wirklich sehr gut ausgestattet. Besonders gut gefallen hat uns die Ecke mit dem Kamin. Auch sonst ist es sehr gemütlich und man kann sich viele schöne Details in der Wohnung anschauen. Die Kommunikation mit Ronela hat gut funktioniert. Auch über den Parkplatz haben wir uns sehr gefreut. So konnten wir das Auto mal stehen lassen und zu Fuß in die Stadt laufen. Gern kommen wir wieder!
