Karla was a top notch host! taking extra care to leave lights on for our late arrival and informed us of easy access for our snowmobiles to get onto the bay for our ice fishing trip. the house was super clean and stocked with anything you could ask for! Thank you so much and we will be back!

I highly recommend staying here. We had 9 kids with ages ranging from 10-20 and they all had a great time, never complained about being bored. The house was big enough to where they could have their fun even when the adult needed to sleep. The house was very accommodating and the outdoor space was absolutely perfect.

If you are looking for a luxury hotel feel, this is not the place. but if you are looking for a quiet, serene, and cozy getaway, this IS the spot! The lake is absolutely gorgeous. The community is clean, friendly, and quiet. The cabin has a quaint and cozy 70's vibe. We loved using the kayaks!! It was an easy trip across the lake. Due to the season, there were not a ton of things to do around. But we went hiking at beautiful Deerfield Nature Park and checked out some delicious eateries during our stay. It was the peaceful trip we were hoping for. During the summer months, our kids would love the little beach, paddle boats, and pier access to shallow water. So nice!

This house was stunning! I was so impressed by how clean it was upon arrival. It was perfect for our weekend getaway with friends.

The house is on the canal right off the lake. We kept our boat tied up right outside the house. There are a lot of extras. Lucky for us there was an extra gas can because our gas gage started acting up and we ran out of gas in the middle grounds. There are kayaks you can use. There is a washer and dryer, plus a black stone. Lots of room for parking. I loved the king size bed.

Very peaceful cabin. Could be renamed “Up North Nostalgia” - reminds me of the cabins our families had growing up. I would stay here again, nice host & nice place!

Beautiful home that gives you an isolated feeling of being in the woods, but is close to anything you can think of, the perfect peaceful getaway. Candy was a pleasure and more worried about my comfort than I was, this was my second stay at her home and already looking forward to staying again next year.

This place was great. We went in the winter so we didn’t use the lake at all, but the house was beautiful and very clean and cozy and had all the amenities that we needed. The host was amazing! She was very responsive and helpful and even got us a snow shovel so we could make a path. I would definitely stay here again.

What a beautiful week away from the city! Smalltown feel, local bar & grills, breakfast, grocery & of course Mikeys pizza. But there are many local trails to hike, even in the winter. And, dont forget you get to come back to your Haven & hot tub, snuggle by a fire (indoor or out), or just curl up. Which is exactly what we did. Sarah was completely available to us & everything was as described. Would book again in a heartbeat!

The cottage was immaculately clean, with plenty of amenities that made us feel right at home. Excellent communication by the hosts again made us feel very welcome. Highly recommended, and we'll be back in the summer for sure!

We had another great time with my brothers and a few close friends for our annual ice fishing getaway. This house fits our needs perfectly. It was a very snowy weekend, but was still able to get out and ice fish and enjoy the Houghton Lake area! I would highly recommend this home when visiting the Houghton Lake area.

My family, friends, and I enjoyed staying at Tim’s property once again. Tim is easy to reach if needed for anything, and was a great host. The property is well located and beautiful! Walking distance to dine out, or just a few minutes drive to get groceries, while still feeling tucked away. We hope to stay again next summer.

We have stayed there multiple times and Nicole is always a great host and the place is always very clean! Looking forward to staying again

Comfy cottage for one, family or friends, with so much to do on the property and the outlying areas. It's always a great place that makes you sad to go and this is one of those places. We were here for work but it was a nice mini vacation too.

The fish were biting the house was perfect for 4 men who wanted a nice get away

Nicki was very responsive and the space was exceptionally peaceful. We loved the lake access and kayaks. We already look forward to booking with her again!

This was my first time renting an Airbnb and I was hesitant given the reputation. Christina's cabin was beyond 5 stars. Quiet, remote, peaceful, and beautiful. There were instructions for any questions you could think of. Christina has thought of everything. Even if something was forgotten, Christina had extra. I will be back for another fall vacation at this cabin in the future.

We had a great time . The house was clean and amazing ! We were able to ride the sxs right from the house to the trails. The beds were amazing I don't sleep well normally but I slept like a baby ! If I could give Marti 10 stars I would ! She's definitely a super host ! We highly recommend this house ! We will be back !

What a stay! Mark and Dawn were wonderful. It was our first get away after our wedding and we did not have a honeymoon yet. I informed Dawn of this when she asked if we celebrating anything, she went all out. There were Faux rose petals leading from the door to the bed, some Valentine's cupcakes and a few other nice items about. The Cabin itself was amazing 😍 and the view was breathtaking. We watched some others ice fishing and Snowmobile on the lake, we relaxed and made some delicious meals in the VERY well stocked kitchen! 11/10 ⭐ we will be back for sure!

Ashlee was very responsive, very friendly and nice! Place as described. winter time, but the watching snowmobiles and ice fisherman was fun out the big windows to lake. We were already very familiar with area, but loved being close to places. Would stay again!

We were given great instructions on how to find the home, and how to get in. It was perfect in every way and we had a terrific time enjoying the home, Little Bertha Lake views, and a campfire one evening. It was very peaceful; we would definitely love to return at some time in the future. Thank you for sharing, Rick!
