Cannot say enough positive things about this property it is absolutely stunning, and the location is perfect. Check in easy, house instructions clear. Lots of extra touches that make the stay very luxurious like quality linen and furnishings, coffee, local wine, comfy bed, bathrobes…. The list goes on. Toni was lovely checking in on us during our stay. Soaking in the hot tub watching the sunset in the peaceful surroundings was absolute bliss. Certainly hope to return again.

The Romancealot cabin was more private than what we expected. Right up the very back of the property, past the other two cabins, it felt like nobody was around except for the wildlife. Such a well designed and thought out space. The bbq kitchen was absolutely perfect with a small double fridge. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The shower was a dream with the rain head feature or a handheld option. I knew it had a skylight/window above the bed for nighttime star viewing but to our surprise if you turn all the lights off and just keep one bedside light on you’ll see what I mean when you look up. It was so funny we had the best belly laugh in ages. Plenty of usable items in the kitchen for your entire stay, even a small air fryer. The fireplace was fantastic. We loved having it on. Now, the hot tub, 10/10!!!!! Such a fantastic idea. Perfect, wonderful, relaxing, calming….. great first thing in the morning and last thing at night. The Summit walk took about 20easy mins 🥰?

An amazing place to stay! We had a great time. Highly recommended this place to anyone looking for a relaxing holiday with beautiful surroundings.

Fantastic out-of-the-way bucolic location. Limited cooking facilities but fabulous views. Platypus in the creek below the cabin. Great access to some of the nation’s most spectacular national parks. Outdoor bath was a treat.

We stayed for one night and arrived after 5pm, our keys and instructions were waiting for us. The lodgings were clean and in great condition. We loved the town centre and enjoyed some great wines at Stone Fruit (local food and wine bar) and a great breakfast at Bad Manners outdoor cafe. We would recommend.

Lovely winter weekend away staying on a vineyard. The cabin was well equipped with fireplace and separate mini kitchen. The grounds were lovely and the check in and wine tasting experience was fantastic. Nice touch to get a breakfast basket and a complimentary bottle of wine.

Michelle is a fantastic host, and the cottage is perfect. She’s thought of everything, down to Sherpa throws outside so you can sit on the fully screened verandah and enjoy your morning coffee. The property is a comfortable 10 minute drive into the main drag in Stanthorpe, so although you’re on a peaceful property, you’re closer enough to everything. All of the fittings and inclusions are first class, and you HAVE to check out the awesome bathroom sink tap! We’ll definitely be back. Thank you, Michelle!

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Cabin was modern and very clean.

It is a minimalistic and small cabin with shared amenities. But had everything needed for a quick night stop over at Tenterfield. Walking distance to town centre. Was super cheap too. Clean place.

Stargazers was a peaceful and perfect way to spend a relaxing night away from the bustle of the city.

When they say escape to the country they were probably thinking of somewhere like Lumeah. The B&B overlooks the Severn River in the distance, is near the township of Ballandean and is only a short distance from many boutique wineries. But the biggest attraction for us was the relatively peaceful setting in this pastoral property with native bushland. A lovely Easter escape and a chance to explore a different part of Queensland.

I had a wonderful stay at Wing Field Cabin! The highlight was definitely the stunning views and the abundance of wildlife – it was such a peaceful and refreshing escape from the city. The cabin itself was cozy, clean, and exactly as described. The host was incredibly friendly and made sure I felt welcome throughout my stay. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to unwind in nature!

How is the serenity? Just perfect and an absolute gem of a place to get away to and relax. Perfect for a couple, modern but cosy with all the little extras that David and Jenny include, making the stay all the more enjoyable. We will definitely be back :)

This is one of our favourite places to stay. It is a hidden gem boasting style, elegance, and comfort. The beauty of the landscape & the thoughtful details in the cabin always leave us feeling deeply grateful & rejuvenated. This is a very special place close to two of the most gorgeous national parks. You will be warmly welcomed, and you may not want to leave!

This cabin looks exactly like the pictures (which is rare in today’s world). Thank you for the incredible stay! We felt right at home and loved watching the kangaroos every morning and feeding the beautiful parrots. We felt like the only people around and was a great base for our activities in Stanthorpe and girraween national park. We can’t wait until our next stay in this incredible cabin! A cute cabin in a farm setting with eclectic style. It has everything you need to self cater and stargazing from the patio is a treat with country skies free from light pollution. Highly recommend lunch at the nearby Ballandean Estate winery. The platter for one, which easily feeds two, along with wine tasting of four wines.

Great peaceful location to stay. Gorgeous cosy cottage that is so beautifully set up. Olivia left us some bread, milk, simple supplies and chocolates which was lovely. If you get the chance book in for a stay.

Had a lovely time. Sandy was an excellent host. She provided clear instructions and went out of her way to accomodate what was a very late check-in (as I worked in Brisbane). We enjoyed a wine tasting at Sandy’s cellar door. It was brilliant. The area is beautiful. The view when I opened the door in the morning was breathtaking. Definitely coming again. Great host. Great environment. Great time.
