This is our third stay at Sophia’s Cottage, and it was a wonderful as ever. Sophia takes great care to ensure a comfortable stay from the start. With fresh flowers and a welcome gift (nice bottle of pinot noir!), it’s a wonderful start to the stay! The kitchen is well equipped for cooking in, but the house is also in walking distance from terrific restaurants if you’d rather go out! There are lots of lovely touches around the house so your stay feels home-y. Throw blankets and pillows, nice shower gel and shampoo, teas and coffees. The beds are very comfortable, and the neighbourhood is peaceful, so good nights sleep guaranteed. It’s great to have washer and dryer and a dishwasher to make things easy. Sophia is kind and responsive, and a wonderful host. We will absolutely be back and look forward to it!

We had a lovely, cosy holiday stay with beautiful decorations and extra goodies to make it even more festive. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking and the beds were super comfortable. Kathleen responded rapidly and super kindly to all our questions. A great pick!

The house was perfect. Clean, neat and comfortable. So beautifully situated at the lake. The outside was wonderful. We enjoyed fishing and kayaking. A great stay!

We had a GREAT time at this location, with very few general complaints. -The TV was huge - beds where comfy -the air conditioning worked great - kitchen was gorgeous -location had everything you want for Philly (I am a Philly local) -the hot tub was clean -the house was darn near spotless Only complaints (and tbh this is nit picking!) -there is a charge for the hot tub (I feel there should only be one if you make a mess of it). Since the place was so pricey, we feel that a little much -you need to bring your own cleaning supplies (trash bags/paper towels, etc). -the tv didn’t have much in terms of streaming services/phone connection (bring a chrome cast or video game system if you want that). -water pressure wasn’t the best -it is a LITTLE loud outside at night, so be aware (not the owners fault, obviously—it’s right in center city so they’ll happen). Marion was so easy to communicate with and the house itself was clean and beautiful, we had everything we needed and were all able to easily park on the street infront of the house, it was great for a group with lots of space and nice bedrooms/bathrooms, also not too far from center city so ubering in/out was easy as well. Overall Marion was a GREAT host and we had a great experience!

Kira's place was just as advertised and exactly what we were looking for. We have family in the area and just needed a place to sleep and shower and then were pretty much gone for the day. The small studio has a comfy bed, nice bathroom with all the things, and a small coffee machine complete with coffee for morning brew. Nice quiet neighborhood. Kira was considerate of our privacy and was easy to communicate with.

The location is fantastic—spotless and conveniently situated. You can easily stroll to several nearby attractions, or if you prefer, hop in a car for quick access to more distant sites. It’s a perfect blend of comfort and accessibility!

Great homey place. It was spotless except for a dirty skillet left in the oven. There is also a dog that lives downstairs that barks when people come home, but otherwise quiet. Would recommend the owners purchase a coffee table for the living room, and provide placemats and dishtowels. The townhome is charming, and right across the street from a large beautiful park. Would stay again when we n town.
