We stayed at Compton House with a group of friends for a birthday celebration and the house was perfect. Location was great for dog walking and for wandering into Chipping Campden village with it’s lovely shops. Beautifully clean and we were left a welcome pack that was such a lovely touch. Would highly recommend

Just what was needed to break the monotony of winter. Gorgeous setting, so quiet and tranquil and enough to do should you want. House was as described , perfect location to explore Cotswolds area. Great recommendation for Thai takeaway on our arrival day given the lateness ! Excellent food. The wood fired hot tub was a wonderful addition and clear instructions on how to start the fire and the wood burner inside also . Definitely would visit again. Rob and James were excellent hosts. Loved our stay just outside of Ledbury. The place is beautifully decorated and really nice for two of us (a couple) to stay for the weekend. The kitchen had everything we needed to get started (milk and butter appreciated). The tub with bath salts is a nice bonus. We were a bit disappointed because we searched for places with an ‘indoor fireplace’ and the picture of their fireplace looks so real it looks like a real log burner! So we were disappointed it was electric. Other than that the place was lovely.

We had the most wonderful stay at the Lodge on the edge of Isis Lake. The location is simply breathtaking, with stunning views of the serene lake and surrounding nature. The Lodge itself is impeccably clean, and every detail is thoughtfully designed to ensure comfort and relaxation. The peaceful atmosphere, combined with the beauty of the lake, created a perfect getaway. We spent our days exploring the surrounding area, and in the evening we relaxed in the cosy sitting area. The facilities were top-notch, and the cosy rooms offered a perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comfort. We will definitely be returning to this amazing Lodge. It’s a gem of a place, and we can’t wait to experience it again! A huge thank you to Rebecca!

a fantastic place , really is worth booking ! we were blessed with the sun shine so we were able to sit in the garden use the BBQ and hot tub, beautiful scenery in a beautiful setting we will definitely be booking again, Pam was so helpful gave clear direction on getting there and getting in the property. Ideally situated if you want to explore the Roman history of Cirencester, in a quiet village with beautiful Cotswold countryside around. A spacious, warm houae ideal for a family gathering.

Absolutely lovely space! We came down for a wedding, yet had a bit of time to explore the area as well! Great recommendations from the host and was very convenient with the “things to do, see & eat” book. I would highly recommend and also rebook. Thank you so much for a fabulous stay!

Stayed at the flat with a friend for a girls’ catch up and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location is great and so peaceful considering it’s in the centre of Cirencester. Check-in is easy and we found free parking nearby for both cars. The property is warm and cosy, with lovely bedding and everything else you could need. I’ve travelled many times to the Cotswolds but this was my first time in Cirencester and absolutely loved it. It’s really easy to explore other beautiful towns and villages from there too. We’re definitely planning to meet there again and stay at Martin’s property.

An exceptional apartment with everything you may need for a short stay in Cheltenham. Suzanne thoughtfully left a welcome basket of goodies which was a very sweet touch. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

We had a very memorable relaxing stay in this lovely warm and well kitted out barn. the venue was stunning and the location excellent. The place was kitted out weigh very tasteful and good quality furnishings and bedding and we all thoroughly enjoyed our time here.

Tasteful, civilised, comfortable. Julian's place has been beautifully and cleverly designed with the guest in mind. Little things, such as quality products and underfloor heating in the bathroom, make a big difference. The big things are fabulous too. Julian is helpful, efficient and friendly The location is excellent. In short, it's a bargain.

I had a brilliant time staying in Maureen’s Barn Annex. She was very friendly and helpful and even gave me a lift from the station and to a cafe on my first day. She was also very helpful when I asked for some recommendations. The annex itself was perfectly located, clean, comfortable and had everything I needed. Thanks for a brilliant stay!

Loved Clare’s place! Tastefully decorated, spacious and well equipped. Parking and walkable to the town and a fab Chinese takeaway around the corner. A tad cold, it was freezing when we got there but warmed up once the heating came on. Lovely character, would highly recommend!

We had a wonderful group stay at Anthony’s beautiful home. It is a unique property, rich in history and stunning interiors. The large garden was lovely to relax in and we enjoyed several local walks. The house is warm, clean, spacious and very comfortable. Anthony was kind and responsive from the start and could not do enough to help. We would recommend this property highly.

We stayed at the villa for 4 days to celebrate my aunt's 80th birthday and it was just as perfect as in the photos. They house is extremely clean and well-stocked with all the amenities you could possibly need. Alasdair was very proactive, providing clear instructions and recommendations that were very helpful. You could tell that the house is laid out in a very thoughtful manner to make it as convenient as possible for the guests. One of the best airbnb stays we've had that exceeded our expectations in every way!!

Lovely house - was perfect for a medium-sized group (8 adults and a few under-5s). The views over the balconies are lovely and crucially the balconies are west / southwest facing, meaning we got lots of sunshine unlike the properties on the other side of the lake. It was end of Feb 2025 and we were happily walking around in t-shirts and making full use of the hot tub! Overall it's a lovely house with great sized bedroom, nice bathrooms with showers etc. We had a private chef cater dinner one evening and he had plenty of space (and we had more than enough space at the table for the adults). Jan kindly left us a bottle of wine too which we put to good use. Around the lake there are walks you can do, a spa (access to which is included as part of the stay) which worked great with the kids (who loved the main swimming pool), a playground, tennis courts etc. Overall would highly recommend.

House was lovely. We spent Christmas week with multi generational family and it was perfect. Plenty of room and very comfortable. House was exactly as expected with lots of great amenities and tidy. We were able to prepare a full Christmas meal with everything there!. Lots of beautiful villages to explore nearby. Jan and Jamie were responsive and friendly and stopped by to make sure we were comfortable and settled. Definitely recommend.

We didn’t actually stay in the house we booked due to a fault with the heating. But the communication from the hosts was excellent and they sorted us an alternative very quickly and we couldn’t fault anything. Had the perfect weekend for a family celebration.

Oldbury Barn is in a lovely location in the countryside with great views (though tricky to find, so the 'what3words' helped a lot!). The house was nicely presented and lovely and clean. Plenty of pots, pans, mugs (!) utensils etc for a large family group. The open plan nature of the kitchen/diner/lounge is great for a multi generational family gathering like ours, as you are always all together in one huge room. However, note that its a tiled floor and there isn't much in the way of soft furnishings so noise echoes around a bit and can be heard from all bedrooms - but this is only a problem if you have very young kids going to bed early or getting up early! The 2 ground floor bedrooms are large and with lots of storage. The 2 upstairs bedrooms are small with very low ceilings and little storage - fine for kids but we were were 7 adults and one toddler, so that didnt work brilliantly for us . The "slight height restriction" in the description is quite an understatement!!

Gorgeous and spacious house in a stunning Cotswolds location. My husband and thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and so did our children. I can highly recommend it!
